I honestly hate Canada post, I literally could not hate it more than I do. No other delivery service tells me one day and on the day it’s suppose to arrive they change it, honestly if I never ever had to deal with Canada post again I wouldn’t, the service is awful the delivery times are crap, I couldn’t be more pissed off with this. I will avoid at all costs ever having to go through them ever again

I went to send in my college application in belleville ontario at the college street location. My mom had wanted to come in with me, and she started speaking for me. The man at the counter referred to me saying "you're a big girl you can answer for yourself". Being completely caught off guard i laughed and answered him. I should have complained right there. This man didnt know me at all. Im suprised he was hired as unintelligent and horrid as he is. He clearly didnt have a goodupbringing the way he spoke to me. Im very concerned about how they train their employees. No common decency or respect at all. God forbid a disabled person or someone with a learning disability go in here.

You know what, they are far from perfect but they are worlds better than Intelcom. At least with Canada post I get my darned packages. My new condo complex has oversized mail boxes specifically for Canada post packages and a key system. They always drop my (non-large/oversized) packages in one of the oversized locked mailboxes and drop the key in my mail slot. I can trust them to do this reliably unlike Amazon's crappy Intelcom service who makes up fake info about leaving my package (they never buzz me which is required to get into the building to leave the package, even though my buzzer rings to my cell phone and I'm home 98% of the time--disabled). And, even during the pandemic I always got my mail from Canada Post (CP), usually at most a week behind even in the worst of covid nonsense which is pretty darned good for pandemic chaos mail. My prime packages mostly still arrive on time even or only one day behind... seriously, this is the single best way to get mail during this whole covid nonsense (for disabled people who cant drive rely on delivery, it is not just a convince).
For a little while I had an issue at my old place with not getting rung when a larger parcel arrived, I called them and made a note on my file that I'm disabled and can't drive therefore they need to ring me please, and from that point on they always always rung me. In return for this kindness I created "No junkmail, no neighborhood mail" stickers with a red dot on them (CP has a red dot program most people aren't aware of, so no unadressed mail comes to your box anymore). Made these for my whole building and my CP "postie" was super happy and said it made his life much easier.

Our whole building was happier too, we never got junkmail and always got rung when we got packages (which we massively appreciate). So, Canada Post in my book is a much better and more reliable service than some couriers!!! (I'd looking at you Intelcom).

Seriously read my Intelcom review, that service is absolutely horrible. Never had any significant problem with Canada post, sometimes I think people just don't have their priorities or expectations straight, or they had one bad delivery person/place and didn’t elevate it to Canada Post. Can happen in any service, do your due diligence and everything is fine.

CP held a Christmas Card for 2 months then returned it as 'Undeliverable - Incorrect Address' and upon inspection, they had crossed off half of a valid postal code and then returned the card. They had no problem delivering the card for several prior years (same address label). When I request a refund for the stamp (I had to deliver the card myself, 3 months late) the fellow who answered the phone said 'sure' but then management emails to say they have done everything to fix the problem and the complaint is closed. WHAT did they do??? Nothing! And they now ignore my emails. Is it a wonder CP is having problems??? NO SERVICE, NO RESPECT, NO STARS!!

I have been dealing with the Dorchester Ontario Canada Post office for over seven years. I am continually disappointed and frustrated with their customer service. I have the experience of being unwelcome and that I am inconveniencing them. I had operated an online store and refused to provide this location with my business because of these experiences with them. Even now, when I have moved away from the area and attempted to contact a friend, my package was extremely late and the postal staff held the item from my friend without her knowledge. I recommend doing business elsewhere to anyone in the area.

So Canada Post has proved to be the biggest failure of a postal service ever!!!!! I have had 5 pkgs all arrive through 5 different couriers in Halifax on the 31st of March.....all sent overnight delivery.....GUESS WHICH FAILURE OF A COMPANY CAN'T GET A PARCEL FROM HALIFAX TO PORTERS LAKE IN 1 DAY LIKE EVERY OTHER BLOODY COMAPNY OUT THERE!!!!!! YES....CANADA POST.....THE WORST POSTAL DELIVERY COMPANY EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!! The tracking number is telling me it won't be delivered until the 8th of April.....SO MUCH FOR OVER NIGHT DELIVERY!!!!! I WILL ENSURE THE COMPANY THE PRODUCT WAS PURCHASED FROM GETS A FULL REFUND OF THE DELIVERY COSTS!!!!!! AND HOPEFULLY THEY WILL BE SMART ENOUGH TO DROP CANADA POST FROM ITS LIST OF COURIERS!!!!!

The Canada Post Web site for a customs form is terrible. Slow, unresponsive. Would not allow enough characters to put in a suite number. Very disappointing.

Canada Post is a pure catastrophy! They did not accept parcels from Europe in December 2020 and a letter came back to Austria end of Decembet 2020 with the remark "currently no service". It seems they believe the pandemic could be transferred by paper mail! Stupid and unbelievable! I would like to talk with the CEO because I assume, they are just LAZY!

It’s pretty obvious parcels are being stolen at your Mississauga facility so stop using Covid and the holiday as an excuse for your incompetence! never had an issue with other couriers just Canada post!!!! how can you have packages sitting at your facility for over 3weeks!!! THE WORST!

Would rather rate them zero stars! Dont use them if you have a choice, pay a little more for a different service!! They're always late so if you pay extra for speed it just means you waste your money! If they lose your parcel they'll try to blame you first... the local depots are the worst for this because they hate complaints being made against them.

Absolute garbage! Paid over the top extra for priority shipping for an article needed for a birthday, 5-7 days wouldve made it! After 16 days it finally arrives in destination country, so much for an on time birthday gift! AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE! If you have no other choice, just go with standard shipping and be prepared to wait a month or so!

I will not use Canada Post again.
If I could give zero stars I would. I sent a package of clothes, including a snow suit, to a new-born family member. It has not arrived - and there is no delivery date now .... that has been removed. I have had wonderful experiences with FeDex and will use them instead of Canada Post!

CANADA POST !!!! There is not a number low enough as they are worse than zero. For this being a crown corp. it is sad that it is operated so poorly: There is no accountability on job performance. The Strathroy Branch just reeks of poor management... A parcel can ship from Montreal to Strathroy in 2 days but it takes 5..6 DAYS to ship in Strathroy. I WILL NEVER USE CANADA POST again.

Registered international mail... not worth the paper it's written on. Completely useless across the board... appears to be the case with all service providers. No recourse...
Better off using electronic options when you can.

Every time Canada post delivers any package for me, it’s the worst experience!! For example I ordered something, and as it turns out it came all the way from Denmark well DHL had it here in Montreal in 3 DAYS !!! Amazing!!
Canada post Expedited ( I pay more for this) from Vancouver to Montréal is an estimated 6 business days, but you watch it’ll be 2 weeks. Funny thing with Canada post you pay more for express shipping it’s slower than their regular. They always make me nervous, I don’t trust them in any way shape or form. But hey maybe they’ll surprise me this time 🤞

If your fetish is for a courrier to lose your parcel, look no further! Guaranteed satisfaction, or your money not back. Yes they will stall, and stall and make you wait and wait. Heck I’m still waiting for refunds on two parcels. Very expensive products, that I’m convinced the delivery person stole. Either way, stolen or lost due to mind boggling incompetence. Canada post is by far the worst courrier Canada has to offer, despite being a crown corporation.

Bad Form Canada Post, I cant believe after only from 9am until about 1.04pm without one call that I've been requesting now for 3 days they just send you an Email saiying they have closed your Service Ticket.

How does that work, so now the Parcel I actually bought for my son because he will be doing High School from Home is now what???

I also informed them at 9am that I was contacting the Police for Theft Aviously, so waiting for a call back.

I actually was putting the Garbage out about 8.30am and there was a COP walking our side of the street , so he stopped and asked me about some dude they were chasing.
The older couple across the street said the Guy ran inbetween my place and the neighbors on my side. Which means he hit the park and off he went.
Anyways so he said he would come back or I could just call, so I did and I'm waiting..

I can't believe this corporation is actually ran by real, living, breathing human beings. A literal band of circus monkeys on tricycles could deliver faster and more reliably than these double-digit IQ mouth breathing, drooling neanderthals. My package arrived to my home city in a matter of 2 days and remains just sitting at the local post office. No est. delivery date or time whatsoever just left in the dark... Upon contacting customer service you get a true taste for how useless someone can truly be but not before you wait the half hour queue time to talk to a literal dog. This company is a disgrace to Canada and triple digit IQ beings as well. This establishment is about as useful as a pile of cow tu*d set ablaze. The company deserves to come crashing down and remain as a pile of dust rubble just to remind us how awful a human creation could be. Utter diarrhea stain of a company and disgrace to humanity, good riddance you dogs.

To the other posters on here, I feel your anger and frustration, I am posting on here for the same reasons. CP has the ability to completely cut off it's customers and seem utterly untouchable and unaccountable for their capitalistic, fraudulent ways. Take heart, a class action lawsuit has finally been filed against these thieves. I had to modify the link but just google it if interested, they are seeking 400$ in compensation for anyone who paid for a guaranteed delivery date (Expedited) that was not met. They are committing fraud by continuing to offer and charge for services they aren't providing. CP are failing to take the necessary steps to notify customers of their suspension of guaranteed delivery dates and continue to offer the premium services. lambertavocatinc/class-action-canada-post

Totally incompetent company. Incompetent customer service team.

Trash, garbage company.

Sent a REGISTERED envelope in Vancouver LOCALLY and it took them 2 months to confirm to me they lost it.

REFUSED to help - customer service team were rude and would hang up on me with out progressing my complaint.

STAY AWAY - use any other private postal service even if you have to pay a little more
