We had the most wonderful stay at Camp DeForest. From the moment we arrived, it felt like stepping into a slower, sweeter version of summer camp — but with all the comforts thoughtfully considered.

The cabins are charming and cozy, with that nostalgic Maine camp feel, yet everything is clean, comfortable, and beautifully maintained. You can tell so much care goes into every detail. Evenings by the fire were our favorite — roasting s’mores under the stars, listening to the crackle of the wood, and just being present.

Camp DeForest is one of those places where you can immediately feel the care behind every decision. It is warm, welcoming, and genuinely thoughtful—clearly created by people who love what they are doing.
The rooms are cozy and beautifully put together, with playful camp touches and small details that make the stay memorable—classic books on the shelves, cheerful vintage-style mini fridges, and design choices that feel personal and intentional. The lodge extends that feeling with breakfast, a camp store, and nostalgic elements that invite you to linger.
What really sets Camp DeForest apart is that it feels like more than just a place to sleep. During our stay, my family and I found ourselves relaxing into it completely—and by the time we left, I already knew I wanted to come back. It creates its own little world, one that stays with you long after you leave.

One of the best places I’ve ever stayed. Truly the attention to detail, comfort of guests, and the magic of the experience was incredible. I’ll be back!
