Caesar & Howie Anmeldelser

I used Caesar and Howie for their probate service for my mum’s estate. They were very good with the probate service and I would recommend them for that. However, due to the fact that they were also estate agents, I used them for the sale of my mum’s house also. Their fees were £3089 for the sale of the house. I was shocked by this cost, given that estate agents in the area were charging much less. For example, Remax charge £1800 for their service. I also checked other agents in the area that were a similar price to Remax - not £3089!! When I inquired about the cost, I was given an inventory and breakdown of the cost. I felt that the fees were too high. When I initially inquired about their fees over the telephone they said they would be around £2300. But I was charged £3089. So I am writing this review so that other people don’t get ripped off by high fees when other companies offer the same service at a lower cost. My mums house was not a difficult sell and to charge fees of this magnitude, I personally thought was outrageous.

I was given excellent advice and guidance when purchasing my house. There was good communication between us and I could contact them anytime by either phone, text or email. I highly recommend Caesar and Howie to anyone that is selling or purchasing a property.

We recently used this firm for both the sale of our home and the purchase of our new property, and we were extremely pleased with the service we received.

Damon was our main point of contact throughout the process and was outstanding from start to finish. While there were some challenges and complexities along the way, he handled everything expertly and kept us regularly updated at every stage. His clear communication, professionalism, and calm approach gave us confidence that matters were always under control.

We would also like to thank the other members of the team who assisted throughout. Everyone we dealt with was friendly, responsive, and committed to ensuring the sale and purchase progressed as smoothly as possible.

Moving home can be stressful, but Damon and his colleagues worked tirelessly to resolve issues, answer our questions, and keep everything moving forward. Their expertise, attention to detail, and excellent client service made a real difference.

We would highly recommend Damon and the team to anyone buying or selling a property and would not hesitate to use their services again in the future.

Damon in the Bathgate office is a fantastic solicitor, great attention to detail, great communication and would definitely use again.

Having used C&H for many years for my family affairs and now engaged them for some other services, they have concluded effectively. Always a pleasure dealing with C&H, their service is first class and prices fair. Thanks again for such a goos job

Bathgate office. I went for help on a boundary dispute and asked for an expert in boundaries. Turns out they werent. I disputed the bill after many repeat emails were charged for and failing to answer my questions and follow my instructions. I raised a complaint and was offered a discount, i didnt believe the discount was enough and they ended up taking me to court. Still going through the courts 5 years on
