The cable warden came quickly to me. My shop said the tolerance against the frame of the 2025 rav4 was very tight, but they were able to get it installed properly. Im hoping to keep the rav4 10+ years. cable warden seemed to give extra chance for avoiding the corrosion issue, as it wasn't clear the toyota change to address the issue for 2024/2025 model years would be a long term solution.

I think for a plastic box the price is really too high, sure it's cheaper than a new cable, but I think you are gouging. While I'm sure you have considerable R and D costs and need to make a profit you're about $150 over common sense pricing.

I put both the front and rear of the Cable Warden in my 2021 Toyota RAV4 Prime SE today on a 2 post lift at my job. I live in buffalo ny where it snows and salt is used on the roads. I like my vehicle and wanna keep it nice and protected. I bought both cable wardens when they were on sale, which helped me buy them easier. What i liked was the front pieces were labeled so it was easier which ones go on which plug. The rear was more difficult in bolting the connector back in place, as it was hard to find the holes but I was able to manage. The whole process for the front and rear including removing and installing shields took about 4 hours to do.

Average cheap plastic product.
The screws should go into a metal inlay and not into plastic itself. It's a very cheap design for a car product that should last a long time.

I am grateful that a company like cable warden has created this product to help hybrid owners in preventing expensive repairs to the high voltage cable. I now have both of my Toyota RAV4 and Sienna protected.

My CableWarden order arrived quick. It was very easy to install and it fit perfectly.

4 1/2 stars out of 5. Paper instructions mentioned to remove a safety fuse before starting. Video did not. I could not find the reference mentioned for the REV4. I went ahead and installed without that step. I had to use a longer bolt to pull the case together at the cable entrance. I replaced it with supplied bolt when all the other bolts were secured. Product seems well designed & built.

I recently bought a new Mazda CX-50 Hybrid and wanted the peace of mind that a Cablewarden provides for the rear high voltage connector. Delivery was very fast via DHL. The only experience that I have working on cars is doing my own oil changes and was able to do the Cablewarden installation myself. I used ramps and that lifted the car enough to complete the installation. The cablewarden fit over the rear cable connector perfectly. I did have to reach out to customer service at one point and they got back to me very quickly and resolved my problem.
