tried to cancel the reservation. Hotels.com said that it was the decision of the hotel. The hotel said it was the decision of the Hotels.com. Cost me $280.23 for 2 nights = $560.46. No apology...no empathy. Basically told me "its too bad your business travel plans changed...not our problem. You should read the terms and conditions prior to cancelling next time."
I have been using hotels.com for many years. With this response, if not corrected will be the last time I use your website to book a hotel. Dave Wowchuk

Everett Motel 6 experience
The room was a bit dingy. The area a little sketchy. And we were only left on tiny bar of soap. Shampoo would have been nice. It was utilitarian. With earplugs you got a good sleep. And the price was reasonable. So, in that way, you can't complain much.

We chose to pay when we got in site. You immediately billed our CCd which put us over our limit costing us an overage charge!
