Its was delivered on time. Bought a pair and a single male, antua betta and it didn't label the pair, just male and female mark on the bags, other than that they did great,

The fish, namely B. livida, arrived in excellent condition and adapted to the new 50 gallon low boy aquarium.

I asked if they could ship my fish on a certain day because we were going to have a heat wave arriving soon and I was happy that they shipped on the day I requested. Beautiful, healthy fish, fast shipping! The barbs are spunky and settled in right away, and the neons which can sometimes be a bit fragile had full bellies and are also doing well.

The team was amazingly helplful with my questions and giving me the confidence to purchase the fish that I did. I was told that I would love them and I most certainly do. Customer service was awesome and fast, just like processing and shipping. The fish were packed VERY well and were extremely happy and healthy, eating while still in their travel bags. In less than a week, I have a male that is already holding eggs. BW Aquatics is truly amazing and I appreciate all of the hard work they put towards taking care of their livestock and customers.

I ordered two groups of fish: a pair of Betta antuta which I am more than happy with, and a set of 10 pygmy corydoras, which were very disappointing. Two of the corydoras appeared to have swim bladder issues upon arrival, but all were alive. I lost most of them within the next couple days though. Since BWA advertises selling quarantined fish, I would expect to receive healthy specimens. I assume I just got incredibly unlucky, but I will not be buying schooling fish from BW again.

The other issue I had was a lack of communication. My order was delayed for a week without explanation until I reached out. While I received a reply fast enough, I would prefer an explanation be given without my having to ask, as that is what most other sellers I deal with do. The shipping itself was fine, came same day it was shipped and packaging was good enough.

Bettas were low quality. Not active. Would not purchase again. Slow shipping.

Very quick shipping. Great communication. Fish were packaged well and arrived healthy and alive. My Betta Persephone pair were easy to acclimate to my tank and have been quite content and active.

I ordered a pair of Grey Mahachai, and a female Green Mahachai.

Took them a week to respond and says they don’t have any Grey Mahachai and asked me for replacement. I chose Blue Mahachai.

They sent me only the Male Blue Mahachai instead of the pair I ordered and a Green female.

Contacted customer support on both occasions, through the email they asked for the replacement choice and the official customer service email. I got no reply and essentially cheated out of a fish.

Will not buy from them ever again and I’d advice others no to as well. It’s a normal business until something wrong happens and they’ll ignore you.

My fish were mailed out as promised and the support people at blackwater aquatics have been very helpful in answering all my questions. Since I received the fish. I would 100% recommend them. Tanya Williams

This company really truly care about there fish,and know what they are doing, I am proud to say I will only be buying my gourami and other Blackwater fish from them,this kinda care is hard to come by now a day's, they communicated with me when they new weather was bad,which I really loved,can't wait to purchase again, give them a try,you won't be disappointed

I had a great experience buying my betta antuta from this seller. The process was smooth and the fish I received are in perfect condition. The bettas are of great quality and a good size. I hope they start breading soon. The shipping package was great too. Fish were very well protected in transit. I will buy again and recommend.
