I have tried contacting Bushpop in regards to closing my account

Item never came. Was told to ensure my PayPal was up to date. I did and responded to the message and now they have not responded. It also says they are not online anymore. SCAM
Be careful ladies! I originally came onto this site looking for a formal dress until I started recognising all the clothes from other sites lmao. After some investigating, the site is basically a (rather unsuccessful) dropshipping business. A lot of the women's fashion items are just cheap shein/zara/fast fashion knockoffs that are actually somehow marked up ridiculously high?? They try to hide it with these big red gaudy "discount" tags. A quick reverse image search literally showed me all the original items. Not that I need to warn you much more anyway, I'm seeing that there's tons of bad reviews already (with AI sounding replies from the company....)

I have to admit, it feels like trial by fire on Trustpilot lately, but I do appreciate you taking the time to raise these concerns. While I’m working hard to remedy everything you’ve raised, they’re serious allegations, so in the meantime they deserve an immediate response:
To clarify: Bushpop is a marketplace where individual sellers list their own items, not a dropshipping business.
• You're absolutely right that some sellers have been misrepresenting items. We're actively investigating and suspending these accounts.
• Regarding the discount tags - point taken! I just reduced the size of the discount badges and changed the ‘savings’ badge to yellow. If you still don’t like it, I hope it’s at least less gaudy?
• Regarding replies, I'm not sure what to say except that I spent a full day last week personally responding to every negative review. I’m doing my best to sound genuine and professional, sorry it comes off as ai.
If you spot specific suspicious listings, please report them and we’ll investigate immediately.

Seems sus? I originally came onto this site's trustpilot because when I tried to buy something it said that there was no available payment methods which seemed fishy. And now, looking at the other reviews-- no wonder!

You're absolutely right, it's suss af - thanks to this call out I've added a notice to the website so other users know what's happening rather than being left wondering.
I temporarily paused payments while we resolve some serious issues (see reviews below) and upgrade the website. Payments will be back online with major updates to the platform this weekend.
I know this explanation might not change your mind about us right now, and that's fair. But if you're willing to give us another shot once we're fully operational again, I'd love to prove that we're a legitimate business committed to creating a great secondhand fashion marketplace for all.

This company is not contactable, although they took my money for a pair of jeans a few weeks ago. Their chat service has been inactive for 21 days and counting. You can’t email them. This site should be taken down. I spoke to the consumer body in Victoria where this company appears to be based. They said they need more evidence than one unhappy customer. Based on other reviews here, it looks like they are taking people’s money and not providing goods in return… that’s criminal. How is this site still up?

The 21-day chat inactivity happened during a perfect storm of technical issues and support team transitions that we've since resolved. Live chat and email responses are now under 24 hours.
You should have received communication from us about your refund. If you haven't gotten it yet, we likely need some additional details to process it. Could you contact us directly with your order number? I'll personally ensure it's sorted immediately.
I understand your frustration and why you'd think we're not legitimate. We're working hard to prove otherwise through our actions, not just words.

Ordered a pair of shoes. They were advertised as authentic and brand new in the box. Shipping was advised within 2-3 days. After 6 weeks of continuous stalling, the shoes arrived - not what I ordered: no tags, no box as was advertised, not even the same colour or material. They have also been confirmed as fake.
I contacted Bushpop multiple times over this period and only once they responded. They have been completely absent and useless in helping with this issue, and the website doesn't even allow you to submit a query. You can only use live chat - which no one responds to. I'm thinking the whole website must be fake.

Our response times have significantly improved - you can expect replies within 24 hours.

This company is TERRIBLE. I ordered something a month ago and it still hasn’t been sent, when I’ve messaged to ask where it is no one messages me back and NONE of the live chats or complaints buttons work so I cannot contact anyone about it. I’ve just lost $110.00 for nothing.
