Bunk Campers - Edinburgh Anmeldelser

Very nice people, especially John who greated us to begin with and who checked the vehical in on return.

Unfortunatelly, I damaged the sidescreen during the trip - sorry. But even that was handled with a smile.

If I need a campervan again in Scotland - I will use this company again.

Couldn't fault anything.. Pick-up and drop off was smooth.. the van was great and we had no issues at all.. highly recommend Bunk Campers to anyone wanting a driving and camping holiday in Scotland

I got a downgrade on my camper and there was no active Communication about it, when I would not complain at Bunk camper, nobody would say something or give a discount or whatever

And the camper was not cleaned very well.

So it was a bad experiance.
I would Not Book Bunk Camper again.

5 star experience. Pick up and drop off quick and easy, got a good tour of the van which had everything we needed. Also loads of info available in the van for anything else. Had one small problem where our key broke, but it was resolved quickly.

The company has an impressive range of services, which is evident from the start. However, this actually turned my experience into something a bit frustrating. The service team did not show much tact in communication: the handover was extremely quick and lacked detailed explanations, with only a very brief amount of time dedicated to me. Afterwards, I raised some claims that have not been addressed.

Overall, it is a company with strong services, but customer care feels very neglected. They risk dying of success if they don’t improve in this area.

I would not recommend this motorhome hire company, also Just Go, based on my recent experience. The customer service was consistently poor and, at times, outright rude. From the beginning, the motorhome had several issues: it was not properly cleaned, there were leaks inside and out, and one of the tyres I think was already damaged — which eventually led to a puncture during our trip.

To make matters worse, the gas certificate in the vehicle was out of date. When I questioned this, they claimed to have a new one but have failed to share it, stating they weren’t legally required to — which raised serious safety concerns.

While they did eventually offer a goodwill gesture of £650 for the inconvenience, which I did accept it doesn’t make up for the lack of professionalism, the safety risks, and the time taken to get everything sorted. I would urge others to be cautious before booking with this company.

We hired our van for 23 days
Into day 6 still no hot water or heater
Still no one to help us
Also they say clean linen available to pick up from depots which is great if you are travelling near the depots
We are in north Scotland so will have to go back to Edinburgh to get fresh linen
DO NOT RECOMMEND this company

Very good customer service. Hired motorhome was very comfortable and suited our needs greatly

We booked our trip with a transfer from the airport. Unfortunately we were not informed about how the transfer was going. So we got out of the airport and didn't know what to do next.

The handover of the motorhome was good, even if the motorhome had some defects inside.

But the reason for my bad rating is something different.
I feel a bit betrayed by BunkCampers.
I was involved in a truck accident.
The truck was driving on my side and I was already at the very edge. The truck hit me and the motorhome was damaged.
Since I was called by BunkCampers shortly afterwards, it was clear to me that the driver had also reported the accident.
The fault clearly lay with the truck driver, so the damage must also be paid for by the insurance company.
However, I didn't get my deposit back because of the damage.
This looks like fraud to me.

Love Bunk Campers, they are super reasonable and very helpful. We have used them on two occasions now and will continue to do so. Also their bedding is much better than their competitors (Indie Campers)

Friendly and efficient staff. Answered all questions. Great experience - would recommend to friends and family

Mobility at Scotland
Nice service and very good state of autovan

Super experience
Communication fluide
Vehicule propre et en super état de fonctionnement

Great camping car, well equipped, and in really good shape. Pretty new.
The only recommendation they i would give if to ask if we have already a motor home experience, and if it’s not the case (as it was our case) take more time to explain all the technical aspects

We received an Aero motorhome instead of an Aero Plus, which was that we booked. Also the electric step was not working properly and the clean water system had some leakness.

The staff was wonderful. Very welcoming and they made us very comfortable during the check in process.
The vehicle was perfect and everything was explained with precision.
There was also some stuff that should have been an option included which was greatly appreciated.
The check out process was also very easy and with no hassle.
I would highly recommend booking a vehicule with bunk campers edimburgh.

The staff are friendly and knowledgeable about the products. Fast service and a cheerful attitude at all times.

Do not use this company. After 48 hours of contacting support regarding an issue with our van and being dismissed numerous times, we were contacted back and told to drop the campervan back, ending our trip early. We were promised a refund for the dates missed due to this van error. We’ve been contacting the company for weeks on end regarding our refund, only to receive radio silence.
