Very disappointing experience with this website. I would only recommend using it for straightforward product purchases, not for any kind of business collaboration or dispute resolution.

A user attempted to have my account banned over allegations made on Discord, including claims that I tampered with a VPS. When I asked for evidence to support these accusations, none was provided.

I had known this individual for around three years through Twitch and had previously worked with them. During our project, I ended up doing the majority of the VPS setup work myself while they contributed very little, which makes the later accusations even more frustrating.

This individual, known as DubK1ngzo (BuiltByBit profile: Legion Network), also left a negative review on my BuiltByBit account making these claims. From my perspective, it felt like the platform sided with the paying member without properly reviewing both sides of the situation.

I also received a Discord message from this user stating: “Got a lot of purchases on there, would suck to get banned.” This came across as an attempt at intimidation.

My concern is not just with the user, but with how the situation was handled by staff. It felt like assumptions were made based on appearances rather than a fair review of the evidence. Instead of investigating properly, action seemed to be taken quickly without clear communication.

Because of this experience, I chose to delete my account and secure the content I legitimately owned.

I would strongly advise others to be cautious, especially when dealing with disputes on the platform. Review moderation and dispute handling should be fair, evidence-based, and transparent.

As for the marketplace itself, buyers should always do their own research before purchasing digital products, check reviews carefully, and verify originality where possible.

Based on my experience, I will not be using this platform again.

I had a very bad experience with BuildByBit. I purchased a Roblox asset, only to later find out that it was leaked content. That’s completely unacceptable and puts buyers at serious risk.

As a buyer, you expect a platform like this to properly verify what is being sold, but that clearly didn’t happen here. It makes the whole marketplace feel unreliable and unsafe to use.
Because of this, I’ve completely lost trust in the platform. I now have to worry about the legitimacy of anything sold there, which defeats the entire purpose of using a marketplace.

I would strongly warn others to be extremely careful when buying from BuildByBit. Based on my experience, I will not be using it again.

I purchased a resource and it was incompatible with my server, i asked for a refund and the seller SMARTNAME held me to ransom, refusing to refund and demanding further payment to fix the incompatibility, i then suggested a perfectly reasonable transfer of the license to a resource of theirs that was compatible of the same or lesser value to which that was denied. BuiltbyBit sided with the despicable seller and left me without refund or resource. They even dragged out the dispute for over a year and no matter what evidence i provided, they just didn't care.

I'd just like to add that I was both a Creator and a Customer on Builtbybit, i can 100% without any doubt confirm all the other negative Customer feedback on Trustpilot is well founded, they indeed do not care about the Customer, always side with the Creator, especially if they are large income generating Creators. Disgrace of a website that i've decided to walk away from as a Creator.

Trash website. Someone scammed me 250€ for a website, now all my complaints are getting deleted. No support of any kind. Do not purchase anything from here.

Built by bit DOES NOT CARE about You. If you have any issues with a mod creator, Good Luck. You have nobody on your side at builtbybit to help you. I encourage anyone to file a formal complaint with the FTC as well as the dmirs.wa.gov.au (since they are located in perth, WA ) If you have any issues with them.
They Restricted my account, for reviewing a mod creator who revoked my license (SKY FROST). He's also using stolen assets but that's beside the point. Good luck with any buyer protection, it don't exist . Reached out to support and they've ghosted me for about 4 days.

Found this Website after opening a Hytale Server to get some nice Mods. Problem Creators on those Websites sometimes sell you broken stuff and nobody cares

getting your Money back after receiving a broken asset/mod or whatever you buy. is almost inpossible would highly suggest to search else where

Bought a Roblox Asset Pack, and all of the Assets were stolen, reached out via support and provided much evidence yet said 'For legal reasons, we are unable to handle disputes over the ownership of a product.' -- even though I provided all the evidence, showed them the game it was stolen from etc, do not buy.

😡😡😡🤡we bought some setups from this guy and what does he do he sells all the setups😡😡😡😡 after we got it and then the owner has to fix this mess because it's all a in a big mess and now we still aren't able to play and I bought the setups in October 2025 shame on you for doing this people don't just have money to buy for their grandkids and it takes a year and a half with crying grandkids🥺🥺🥺😢😢 that wanted to play shame on you im sad for you to do what you did grow up stop taking money and stop scamming people from an angry grandmother 👵

Got banned for « leaked resources » I never leaked anything and they have no proof and don’t care about the truth, I can’t access my previously paid assets that’s so dumb

This website sells stolen assets, and their staff protects those people. the moment you buy and realize its stolen assets and try to dispute it, your messages will get deleted, reviews deleted and refunds rejeted. when you try to speak out about it their staff will insult you instead on their discord. Do not buy unless you wanna get scammed.

i bought a mod for hytale called HyBattlePass Easy Set Up To Configure i add it to my local game play and my dedicated server it didn't create a files that suppose to be configurable so i give it a one ⭐ review and said "this is misleading it isn't configurable it didn't create a *.json file or have a GUI to add your own reward yesterday 2/26/2026 i got punished by staff name Rain for leaving a honest review today i requested them to refund me Rain refuse to refunded me i say to everyone stay away from buildbybit.com cause one you braking hytale tos by buying something that suppose to be free

If you plan to buy plugins and other stuff for your Minecraft Server I do NOT recommend this website at all. They don't care AT ALL about the customers that buy the stuff. They care ONLY for the sellers themselves and always will stay on "their side of the story". Even if the fault is on the seller. They can freely take away your digital licenses and you don't get your money back from them. They don't care.

There are plenty other good websites for plugins, please use them and don't give any further support to that scam website.

Great platform, they’re always helpful and there when you need them.
They’re also always looking for ways to improve and are very transparent in their intentions.

As a creator I give BuiltByBit 10/10, yes always things to improve but atleast they’re listening to our feedback and engage in discussions.

I'm asking you to stop right there. If you're planning to buy this plugin, know that you have absolutely zero protection against scams. If it turns out to be some half-baked AI plugin, you'll be waiting weeks for a reply in the dispute system, where you won't be able to prove anything anyway.

In response to my claim about the plugin not working, I had to wait 5 days just to get a build that can barely be called functional. Now I'm stuck trying to prove it’s broken, while this guy continues to scam people. If you're not ready to lose $5-100 with no chance of a refund, I wouldn't recommend it.

This Site allows Sellers to open up a dispute if they dont like your review. And the funny part about this is they can get ur license deleted. So basicly you payed ---> you make a product review ----> seller doesnt like your review----opens up a dispute---> and you could potentially lose your rights on the purchased license. I have never heard of such a shameful system in my life before. Very frustrating experience with this site, and please dont buy anything, just search alternatives

The reviews are bias and always stacked in the sellers favor. They allow sellers to give away free licenses to their friends to boost their ratings on a resource. They also allow sellers to revoke their licenses meaning you loose access to the item you purchased.

They purposefully do not respond to tickets and harass people without reason.

Do not trust, their support staff team is a joke. They favor accusers when you have solid proof. Horrible Marketplace - Candor Studios marketplace here we come!
