I absolutely hate Buffalo. Their WhatsApp number is basically useless. The actual number is also useless because their agents are absolutely unhelpful and it isn’t even their fault. They basically have no information and can’t help with anything. Their email is the most useless. They redirect you from WhatsApp to their email in case you “don’t get a response” but their email is an automated response that basically just gives you the WRONG WhatsApp number and the number to call that takes up plenty of airtime just for an agent to tell you “sorry you just have to wait”, then you wait and wait and wait until then next message is “sorry, we can’t help you”. Useless company

I have worked with Buffalo many times when they deliver my shein orders. It always arrives either EARLY or on time (in the expected delivery window).
I've never had anything broken, even when i ordered fragile things. Really impressed

Your call centre is of no use, no one ever phones back, the one person that phoned actually said a manager will phone me, but clearly there is no management that works in the building or maybe in the whole company.
Where is my parcel?
I do not want another mail that states it will be sent out within 48 to 72 hours. Clearly that is also not the case if you look at the attached feedback, if you can call it that.
I want a proper answer. I will even collect because clearly Midrand is on wheels and moves around South Africa.

Absolutely unacceptable behaviour from this company. The way employees are treated is extremely concerning, with reports of workers being underpaid despite the work they put in. No company should be exploiting its staff like this. It shows a serious lack of ethics and respect for the people who keep the business running.
Even worse are the concerns around customer data protection. Businesses have a legal responsibility under the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA) to safeguard people's personal information. Any indication that customer data is not being handled properly is a major red flag.
A company that cannot respect its employees or protect the personal information of its customers should seriously reconsider how it operates. Accountability, fair pay, and proper data protection are not optional they are basic responsibilities.
Very disappointing experience and extremely worrying practise.
Private Customer Forced to Get Importer’s Code
I paid for my full SHEIN order, but Buffalo is refusing to deliver my parcel unless I apply for an importer’s code. I am a private individual, not a business. My parcel is being held and delayed for no valid reason. This has caused stress, wasted time, and uncertainty. I want my parcel released and delivered immediately. I have already contacted SARS and was told private imports do not require a personal importer’s code...so what the actual f..!

Returned parcel went missing and no one has it resolved it 4 months later.

i am wanting to return an item. The driver keep saying that they are on their way, please stay home to do a pickup. Im waiting for over a week for them to fetch the parcel. Today he said that they dont to pickups in my area as they are not allowed to.. Unbelievable how they can drop a parcel for delivery but all of a sudden dont do pickups to return an item. Big dissappoinment. Dont even feel like giving star to the review. Driver is Leon Daniels
Very poor service
Very poor service. They marked my SHEIN package as delivered, but I still have not received my package. Trying to contact support is frustrating because I only get automated messages, and when an agent finally responds, they just repeat that the system shows it was delivered. I asked for the driver’s number plate and proper delivery details, and they told me they are investigating, but it has now been 14 days with no feedback. No one can explain where the parcel was left or who received it. Extremely disappointing and unreliable service.

I have explained her many times that in order to get my parcel back, TEMU asked me to contact my local courier to get my parcel back as it was supposed to be collected by fast way couriers but Mpho continues to say I should contact the supplier in China. Unemployment rates are high. Give jobs to people who actually know how to work

Terrible, they said they delivered my package, but it was never received. Even when trying to contact their support team I only get automated messages for hours, and when someone finally responded it was - Our system says it was delivered. and that's it, no replies to where it was delivered, to who it was delivered. I hope they lose all their business and Temu never uses them again.
Delivery driver was very arrogant
Delivery driver was very arrogant, shouted from the street in front of my business and said that I must come to her to take parcel. She wont get out of the car to bring it as its not her job.

Buffalo Couriers has given me one of the worst customer service experiences ever. For more than a week, I have tried to fix a simple delivery issue, but they ignore every attempt to contact them. Their phone line goes silent, their WhatsApp and chat are useless, and all they send are empty automated emails.
When I finally complained by email, they replied with a generic copy and paste message instead of actually helping. I still have not received my parcel because they simply refuse to communicate.
This service is unacceptable and shows a complete disregard for customers. I would never recommend Buffalo Couriers to anyone.
USELESSNESS AND NON DELIVERY
My God where to start. I ordered glasses from Lensmart and let me tell lensmart has done its part. The thing is I’m in Botswana and Lenamart doesn’t deliver here. So I ordered the glasses to be delivered to a courier company in SA that would in turn delivered to me in Botswana. The package is in JHB and every day for the past 15 days I get stories why Buffalo simply can’t just deliver to the courier. Because I’m not in SA I don’t have an SA cell number. I asked if they could call an international number they said no. I asked if they could instead deliver to Botswana, they said no I can’t change the delivery address. I said I’d just come to JHB to get the package, it’s a 6 hour drive, they said no collections. What the heck. Now I have friends in JHB, I want to change the delivery to their address, again no. I’m about to demand a refund from lensmart and start again cause I have aged considerably fighting this battle.
The WORST service
The WORST service! And when you as the customer put up a complaint, they get their friends and staff to put up 5 star reviews so that they don't look bad!
Twice now they've told me no one home for delivery and phone not answered, BUT I DO NOT HAVE ANY MISSED CALLS AND BOTH TIMES THERE WERE PEOPLE AT HOME!!!
I am furious - they have no idea about service, because you can't get hold of anyone to assist, either!

Logged a return since 12 October 2025, today the date is 17 November but still I get stories every week and I have my parcel sitting not used whilst I paid money for it and I cannot be refunded because Buffalo refuses to collect the parcel, all you do is lie ablut the parcel being picked up, it has been over a month now of empty promises, highly disappointed with your services.
