Had my solar panels protected on the 5th October 2023. Happy pigeons dont seem able to get under my panels now. Have to say I was expecting my panels to have at least a wipe over whilst the workers were on the roof. Also my gutters are still blocked. During the recent heavy rain water was pouring out of them. Not sure it is blocked gutters or the downpipe. No idea why this company can't offer a full service of thoroughly cleaning the panels and if needed removing the downpipe to unblock it. At 60 I find it difficult to climb ladders but will have to sort out the problem myself or pay to have the work done. I did think for £600, at least my panels would be cleaned. Communication was good. Happy with protection but wish a full service was offered.

This company has been a pleasure to deal with due to issue with pigeons under solar panels, from initial enquiries through to work being completed,everything fully explained, work carried out quickly and everyone I have spoken to has been brilliant, thank you all so much !

A very efficient service, everything was clearly explained to me before booking a date and I was kept informed of progress, the team actually came a week before expected. The bird team were very personable and knowledgeable, and did an excellent job for us.

Excellent company to deal with; they provided a very competitive quote and the booking process was straight forward. Once booked, they kept me informed of developments regards scheduling. Turned up on time on the specified day and undertook a clean, tidy professional service. Unblocked gutters in addition to bird proofing and cleaning solar panels. No mess or noise. Waking up to the sound of silence is a perfect start to the day. After months and months of droning feral pigeons from dawn onwards we are so thankful for the 2 young men who leapt about on our roof last Thursday!

From our initial enquiry onwards, the people at British Bird Control have looked after us so well. Everything has been explained in detail, emails have been responded to promptly and phone calls likewise. The 2 man team who did the dirty job were friendly and business-like, again explaining everything before they started and then gave a full report, with photos, before they left.

So: no more noise, feathers, blocked gutters, messy windowsills - not to mention beady eyes staring at us from the rooftop. The cost was more than worth it and we are more than grateful.

I had a major problem with pigeons nesting under my solar panels. I contacted British Bird Control and obtained a very detailed quote together with a detailed explanation regarding their procedure. After accepting the quotation I was informed at every stage of the procedure, by email, which took away any worries or concerns. The Installation Team completed the work in a few hours and explained in detail what they had done. This work was carried out very professionally and to a high standard.

I can thoroughly recommend British Bird Control if you are looking for a solution to pigeons under your solar panels. I now have a strong mesh barrier which the pigeons have investigated and discovered they cannot get under it at any point. I received quick responses to my emails and was sent a lot of information including photographs of previous work which helped me choose this Company. The two men who fixed the mesh told me what they found and what they did. They and the office staff have all been helpful, polite and efficient. I can now relax knowing that pigeons cannot cause any damage to the panels or keep waking me up early stamping about and cooing😀

My initial contact was with David who promptly provided a competitive quote for the solar panel bird proofing, along with confirmation as to how the works would be undertaken.
I placed the order and a date was agreed, however due to adverse weather this had to be rescheduled. I understood that this was beyond their control and was more than happy, as they kept me updated and of course safety is paramount! ( There was heavy rain and it was windy)
The teams that attended were very professional and friendly. They explained the procedure, installed the bird proofing and left everything clean and tidy.

I found the website really clear and helpful and so decided to give British Bird Control a try. I am glad I did. The whole experience was designed around delivering great customer satisfaction. I was pleasantly surprised how quickly my enquiry was dealt with and the initial booking made. There was a delay to my original planned installation date because of the awful weather in July. That delay was handled well; I was given plenty of notice and the opportunity to state dates that were not good for me on the rebook.
On the day of the installation the team arrived well ahead of time and carefully explained what they would be doing. The rate at which they worked was amazing. They also took time to answer any of my questions. I have never had work done before by such a pleasant, polite and helpful team.
The site was immaculately clean when they left it.
Hard to find this standard of customer service these days; I would thoroughly recommend British Bird Control

When I had my Solar Panels installed last year I was advised that I probably wouldn't need bird protection, but come spring time, the roosting pigeons clearly showed that I did. World of Solar (the original installer) suggested it would cost around £2k to retrofit since they would have to scaffold the house. I started looking around for a roofer who could do it and came upon British Bird Control. They were really helpful from the very start and talked me through their certification that allows them to deal with nesting birds and gave me a quote that was less than a quarter of what World of Solar suggested since they could do it safely without scaffolding after first completing a risk assessment. Everything they spoke of gave me confidence that this is a good firm to do business with, and I haven't been disappointed. The installation was last week and only took a few hours. Many thanks British Bird Control....the only ones who aren't happy are the pigeons who hung around for a few days looking like they'd been locked out of their house.

My problem started when a flock of doves decided that my solar panels made a better home than their dovecote. Nesting material from under the panels slid into my gutters creating blockages. Eggs rolled down the roof to smash on my patio or my conservatory. I contacted the company which installed my panels, but their quotation seemed excessive. I contacted British Bird Control who promptly gave me a much better deal. Strong winds and heavy rain caused a short delay in the start of the work, but Lauren in the office kept me fully informed throughout. The work was carried out by Michael and Matt swiftly and efficiently with a minimum of mess and disturbance. A 10 year warranty gives me peace of mind.

Highly recommend!
This is the first time I have used British Bird Control, and it definitely won't be the last. My clients have had continual problems with pigeons nesting and fowling around and beneath their solar panels, but all is now sorted and the solar panels fully bird-proofed. Communication with the company has been excellent, especially given the delays caused by the recent bad weather. Great service, prompt response and pleasant operatives.

Bradley and Paul checked the proofing work today that was completed last September as I had noticed several cable ties and pieces of the metal guards on the driveway. They confirmed there was no re-invasion of the pigeons and they ensured the guards were fully proofed. Great lads and very reassuring. Brilliantly service from the company as a whole who must ensure they don’t damage the panels in any way especially as they are leased. Would highly recommend

After a bit of rescheduling due to weather, it turned out that I couldn't be at home when our solar panels were birdproofed. However, the team arrived on time, treated our property with respect and completed all the agreed work.
They removed the nests, fitted netting very tidily, cleared debris out of the gutters and washed the panels with biocide.
They then phoned me to provide a detailed report and advise on what behaviour we could expect from the birds that had been disturbed. The whole work area was left neat and tidy.
Altogether they have provided exactly the service we were hoping for and were very pleasant to deal with.

British Bird Control were the company recommended by my solar panel lease company to carry out pigeon proofing. They communicated well and gave a detailed information email to manage my expectations of the work they were going to carry out. On the day my work was to be completed the workmen were professional and friendly and they fitted galvanised mesh to my panels and also cleaned up my gutters and tidied up all the bird mess that had fallen into my garden. I was extremely pleased with my experience with this company.

Bit of slow start due to a backlog due to poor weather conditions. However, I was kept informed.
On the installation day, the team arrived and fully briefed me what they were going to do and it would take approximately 2 hours.
On completion they, explained all and showed me pictures of the installation including the parts not visible form the ground.
I would highly rate BBC as first class especially based on some of the other companies I had dealings with initially.

The good thing about this company is they will do the job without scaffolding so the cost is considerably less than other companies who do.
Their team arrived a day earlier and completed the job very quickly. The pigeons can no longer nest under my panels so I am not getting a deluge of poo. twigs and eggs on my patio and conservatory. I am very happy about that!
The downside is following their work the down pipes became blocked and my gutters overflowed. The company do not take responsibility for this. I managed to take the elbow bend off above the conservatory and clear it myself which resulted in me being covered in wet poo.
Also bear in mind that you will have to clear debris of all window ledges, conservatory roof and surrounding areas. The team did a minor clear up on my patio but I had to do it again.
TIP If eggs break onto your conservatory roof clean them off immediately as I cannot remove them now despite using many different products.

The guys were great they explained what they were doing as they went along they did a great job and cleaned up after them. Can recommend this company

We had Callum & Lewis turn up on 28/6/2023 to fit the mesh guards as protection from Pigeons nesting under our Solar Panels.
We could not have asked for better staff than them, their friendliness, understanding and professionalism are of the highest standards and we can’t compliment these guys or praise them any higher, they were both superb.
We will definitely be recommending your company to any family and friend that are looking for the same type of work.
