Fantastic course, I'm going deaf and find it hard to learn new things. Even though I have arthritis and dyslexia, this course was very clear and easy to follow and learnt at my own pace. It's also good that you get to keep the full course when finished so can look back on it.

As a sixth form student with a keen interest in broadening my communicative repertoire, I recently embarked upon an introductory course in British Sign Language, kindly recommended by one of my teachers. Though I only commenced the course last week, I have already completed it and now possess a foundational ability to both sign and comprehend key elements of BSL. I absolutely loved this introductory course. This was something I've always wanted to do and I cannot recommend it enough. Really enjoyable and clear. A little tricky re-capping on previous sections and signs learned, but very useful overall. It’s recommended to spend at least a week on each section, which makes sense. An excellent resource

Easy learning everything on your course but i am going to keep practicing even no i have passed all the tests just so i know everything again and again would like to thank all it made this course possibe personall i think this should have been taught at school years ago,

Loved doing this course. Easy to follow and wide cariety of topics . Pity no other levels covered as this was such a well thought out approach to teaching with the mirror tool/on line forum etc. I was astonished I remembered the signs so well as so much was covered absolutely worth every penny and would highly recommend

Excellent format, superbly user-friendly and I feel quite privileged to have had the opportunity to learn some signing at last.
I didn't know what to expect but can say it is a very rewarding experience which I would urge anyone to do.
I would say it really is also something children, both non-hearing and hearing, would benefit from learning from a young age. What better way to make people feel included and less alienated than to be able to communicate with them on their terms.

I did this course in 21/22 and it was just the best thing I’ve done. The pay it forward part of it is very kind and welcome - and at the grand old age of 50 I’ve learned a new language. I’m getting more deaf as time marches on (2 hearing aids atm) so this will be so helpful in times to come. Wonderful

The videos are split into easy segments and assesments that gradually build up your knowledge at your own pace. And its an affordable introduction into BSL.

I would definitely highly recommend using this course / website. Helped me to relearn everything that I have forgotten.

I HAVE JUST FINNISH DOING THIS COURSE I HAVE ENJOYED VERY MUSH AND FOUND IT EASY TO FOLLOW STEP BY STEP VIDEO'S AND YOU CAN GO BACK THOUGH ANYTHIME SO THAT IS HELPFUL

Really easy to follow videos, you can do them at your own pace and go over them if you can’t remember.

I'm so glad I found this course. I always wanted to learn sign language. It took me three days to learn and pass all assessments. It was worth it. Thank you for making this available free and online.
