Very friendly team van was ready and waiting for me at a very reasonable rate would use again

Do not use this company for storage. My wife and I had to move out of our property for 9 months to allow renovation work. We used Brittania to remove and store all our belongings. We have paid them £576/mth storage plus £81/mth insurance. When they returned the goods in April 24, a leg was broken of the large chest of drawers, an armchair was badly marked. In addition, mattresses had dirt on them and clothes etc were damp. No mats were put down on our new carpets, which were then marked,
Subsequently we realised a telescope had also been damaged, wooden frame of mirror snapped and put back and mattress marked.
We will try to claim for the chest and chair on insurance but we discovered the other damage after the 7 day cut off - so we are barred from claiming - it took us that long to unpack items. In addition the insurance policy has a £50 excess and is not a 'new for old' policy so I am unlikely to get much back on the insurance. In addition the claim form says I need to submit traders estimates for repairs - but no one is interested in repairing the furniture.
The whole experience has been horrible and very expensive, damaged goods and head office staff that don't care. Do not use them to store your personal belongings

Very helpful organising a long distance move. The removal crew were friendly, efficient, and polite. Highly recommended.

The relocation of my furniture from Torquay to Liverpool was seamless from the first phone call to the actual move. I was at the destination to meet the guys who were super professional and did a great job. A real credit to Britannia Lanes.

Great service from a great team. From the initial quotation to completing all the paperwork, and on to the packing and loading, all the staff were excellent. Very friendly and patient in answering all my questions and explaining the whole process. Special thanks to Lynn and Joel. Everything was professionally packed and arrived on time and in perfect condition. Very grateful to the entire team in Devon.

Josh and Callum (movers) and Cheri (customer service) were all great.

I had a tight timeline, so Cheri worked quickly to sort a quote and arrange a time that worked for me. My notes for the move team all went through, which meant they showed up in the right place despite the best efforts of Google Maps.

Callum and Josh knew exactly what they were doing. Initial tour to understand where everything was, what was moving, what order they'd take things in, where they needed protective packing. After that - they got on with it.

Special wrapping for monitors, generally good *care* for everything. Unphased by stairs. Never rushed, just well-rehearsed.

At the other end there was another tour to understand where things were going and how to fit things through the entry, and then they had me wait at the entrance to point each thing to the right room.

The result was total convenience for me, and (crucially) two people who cared about keeping my things safe and helping a busy day run well.

Well worth the money. Thank you

I have used the Marsh Barton site for storage for a little over a year and found it very good and easy. Robert is a delight to deal with and the facility’s make everything easy. Its also a very clean environment.
I also recently hired a van from same location and it was one of the smoothest and relaxing vehicle hire I’ve ever done.
Highly recommend Robert and team.

Just had a 2 day house move with Joshua, Jordan and billy from Britannia lanes. A absolutely fantastic team which were extremely helpful and hard working. Then on day two they were joined by Jambo and Leighton who provided some extra muscle to get me in the new house even faster. Honestly couldn’t have asked for a better moving team to make my life easy and smooth. Thank you guys for all the help and I think you all definitely earned some extra days paid leave if your boss is reading this.

The men that carried out our move did an excellent job in the foulest weather that could be experienced in the Welsh climate

We used Britannia Lanes to hire a small van to deliver and then collect paintings for an exhibition at a gallery in Totnes. The vehicle they provided was exactly what we required and organising the rental was simple. The staff were incredibly helpful and the cost not excessive. Would happily use Britannia Lanes again for van hire should I need to.

Hired a Luton van for a house move, got a great price, and a nice new van. Service from Robert was brilliant, so easy to deal with and very helpful. Overall an excellent experience. Already hired another van from them.

Fantastic straightforward and hassle free move from Devon to London. The guys that moved me were polite, professional and efficient. They packed all my belongings well and it was all very smooth. Even no problem when the initial van couldn’t fit down my road!

Billy & Josh, employees of Britannia were both exceptional, helpful in every way and very understanding of the situation.

Can’t thank Callum and Desperate Dan enough both were kind and polite through the two day move nothing was to much trouble for them,the move went so smoothly and I was right to choose Britannia Lanes fir the long move from Torquay ti Oswestry
Also the fact that they give blue light discount makes so much better on the pocket

What a wonderful company! They were very flexible and very helpful. The two removal men who came to help us (Leighton and Jack) were absolutely fantastic, they were punctual, willing to help and nothing was too much trouble. All the stress was taken away from moving, and we would definitely contact Britannia if we ever need them again.
