Avoid — refund offered but not paid, return address refused
I placed order #2697 with Britannia Lane and requested a return/refund because the goods received were very poor quality and not as expected.
Despite repeatedly asking for a return address and return instructions, the company did not provide them. Instead, they repeatedly offered partial refunds — first 25%, then 35%, then 45%, and finally 50%.
They then offered a 50% refund in writing and said it would be arranged promptly. However, I have still not received the refund and my follow-up emails are now being ignored.
In my experience, this has been extremely poor customer service. I feel the company has used delay tactics, avoided providing proper return instructions, and failed to honour a refund offer it made in writing.
I would strongly advise other customers to be very cautious before ordering. I am now escalating the matter through Shopify, my payment provider, and the appropriate consumer advice channels.
