Cost communication poor
Unitial delviery of goods was efficient, but communication of costs was very poor, and subsequently the charges requeted were much higher than they should have been

I hired a petrol shredder for two days
I hired a petrol shredder for two days, it was very late being delivered, I had to chase it twice. They did give me an extra day because of it, again I had to ask.
The tool worked very well but I lost a good dry day.
The collection I told the driver where the machine was, but another driver picked it up and did not know where it was.

Helpful customer service
I was not sure which kind of platform to hire as the one I used last year was a little low for my needs for hedge trimming. Customer service were helpful at directing me to the right product. Delivery was nice and early so I had the full day to work at the start of my week's hire. Collection was efficient at the end of it, and I had good communication with the staff to arrange it. The hire price was extremely reasonable, as were the delivery/collection charges.

Product not available
Despite taking the booking on-line, the local team called about 2 days later to advise that the product wasn't available....they tried to locate an alternative but said there were none locally.
They refunded my hire fee.
I ended up buying one from Screwfix (next door) instead

Staff helpful, actual tool less so.
Brandon staff were extremely helpful, coming out promptly when I had a problem. But initially the wrong machine had been booked and the pressure washer they eventually found for me was much more cumbersome and difficult to use than ones I had previously hired from elsewhere.
