Great Local Service
Collected pre - booked equipment. Kit was ready, staff were really helpful, couldn't fault it. Only collected it because arranging a delivery was too complicated.

Good Service
Good service with plenty of timely information regarding delivery and collection. Only problem (with the turf cutter) was the lack of tyre tread on the driving wheels, with wheels not gripping it involved a lot of hard pushing!

The garden chipper supplied could not…
The garden chipper supplied could not be started. I reported this on a Saturday but the hire centre had no telephone support at weekends. I left a message but did not receive a call back. I chased this during the working week and was told that I should have continued to telephone. I expected my voicemail message would be picked up and responded to but this proved to be a false hope. I requested a refund and was told that this would only be considered once the chipper had been tested upon return. The customer services adviser told me that the chippers are notoriously difficult to start. The chipper hired was not usable.

Good range of tools, good availability, good price. Why struggle with the wrong tools when for a few quid you can get the job done better and quicker.

Battery didn't work, customer service ignored us
Hired a battery for a caravan weekend. Spoke to someone on the customer service line beforehand and was told the battery would be perfect for this purpose, then phoned the store themselves and was also told the battery would be good for this use. We took it away on the weekend and the battery was drained within an hour even when nothing was plugged in or being used. We were without electric for the weekend which was inconvenient to say the least as we were performing at the festival. When we returned the battery and explained it didn't work the person lied and said they never said it would work with a caravan. Emailed Head Office twice to complain and received no response after 12 days.
