Bournemouth Cars is an independent used car retailer in Bournemouth. Founded in 2012 with a passion for motoring and supplying quality used cars, we pride ourselves on offering exemplary customer service. Our two founding directors have a combined 35 years experience within the motor trade and family backgrounds running 3 generations deep. We believe in constant evolution and are proud to deliver a modern-day experience to our customers and their buying experience. Customer satisfaction is of the upmost of importance to us all here and as such we are now Dorset’s only AA approved dealer, a fact we are extremely proud of. Every vehicle is first hand inspected by the AA on our premises by them, warrantied by them thereafter, giving not only you but us the confidence that we have done our upmost in preparing your new car for its new home. Being sticklers for preparation in this manner and our desire for genuine customer service, this has driven a whole host of customer 5 star reviews and subsequently nomination’s and awards have followed, namely; Auto Trader - “Highly Rated Dealer” award in 2019, 2020 & 2021 for our customer service. Car Gurus - “Top Rated Dealer” award in 2018, 2019, 2020 & 2021 for our overall reviews and customer satisfaction. Over the years we have become very well known in our local area for our customer service and quality of vehicle along with the work we do in the local community. Any short journey around Poole and Bournemouth you will see the number plates of our previously sold vehicles on the road. In recent years, online business and nationwide delivery mean the majority of our business is now outside of the local area. We are fully approved and regulated by the FCA (Financial Conduct Authority) and as such are entitled to discuss and offer you the very best finance packages available on the market today in order for you to fund your new car. Partnering with Quick Car Finance and Close Brother’s Motor Finance to bring you these finance packages. 2021 gave birth to expansion at our preparation centre too, in the form of additional workshop space and a body shop. Enabling us to keep virtually all of our servicing and preparation in house at our facilities in Poole. Giving us more quality control over these aspects and satisfaction. In 2022 we have excitedly become a new car dealer too in the form of the brilliant fully electrical small car manufacturer, MEV. Offering brilliant options for fully electric cars and vans - details of this can be found under “New Cars” in our menu. Finally, we really do appreciate the time you have taken to read “about us” and our business, as always we strive to do better in any which way we can and realise we are not perfect. One Of The Best Car Buying Experiences I Have Ever Had
From the moment I enquired, the easygoing and relaxed approach was clearly the way Adrian and Ollie work.
No sales pitches, no gimmicks, just excellent quality and looked after vehicles, and guidance, information, and help making the whole process enjoyable.
As daunting as buying a new car can be, Adrian and Ollie made the experience a pleasurable one, helping every step of the way.
I have previously purchased vehicles from other dealers, who the word “shady” was created for, and this includes the overpriced main dealers, whose approved cars are well above market value, and who draw you in by omitting details (which unfortunately appear after you’re entered into the agreement!).
With Bournemouth Cars, namely Adrian, there is no ambiguity, no omission, and no nonsense, but the complete opposite! Clarity, freedom to take the car and see if it is exactly as advertised, and if there was any negative statement to be made, it would be that although the pictures advertised are good, they are nowhere near the experience of seeing the cars up close.
Adrian gave me an honest account of the whole process, and then helped every step of the way, even down to redirecting the process when my emails wouldn’t work!
Car tax arranged, being on-hand whilst I changed cars on my insurance policy, and then making the whole financial and legal process straightforward and seamless.
All cars are AA checked, and if mine is anything to go by, they are brought as close to brand new condition as possible, so much so that you have to look at the cars number plate twice, as most of their cars look brand new!
Highly recommended.

Everything about buying a vehicle from these guys was seamless and was as stress free as could be, Ollie picked me up after a long train journey from Derby and when we arrived Adrian gave me as much time as I needed to go over the car. Car was exactly as described if not better, had a small issue after a week or so but after a quick call with Adrian it was booked in and sorted out for me at a garage of my choice without any issues! Best experience I’ve had purchasing a car and will be going back to these guys again as soon as something else drops up that I fancy! 11/10 Cheers to all at Bournemouth Cars
