Boundless in Tuscany was such a transformative trip for myself and family. The program is awesome and we are looking forward to our next boundless life experience.

We’re about to head to our 6th Boundless Life location, and that alone probably says everything. Boundless has opened the world to our family. The staff, the education, and the community have truly changed how we travel. We couldn’t imagine this journey without them.

We had a fantastic experience with Boundless and can't wait to experience another cohort!

We love that we get to travel the world and meet amazing people along the way! There are so many people that adhere to our values of culture and expanding boundaries through shared experiences. That is amazing.

The are a few things we would caution. The price for the popular cohorts is increasing dramatically. The cohort in Syria we did last summer is now 2.5x the price it originally was. We understand that we more popularity comes more demand. However it seems to be pricing some really amazing repeat families and potentially new families out of the experience. Which is unfortunate.

We love Boundless and the people and places we have experienced. We will continue to be a part of this journey as long as we can. I fear that end might be coming sooner than later with the current rates.

We have done two cohorts with boundless and looking forward to our third next year!
Overall it’s a great program and opportunity for families to explore global destinations and children to learn in different cultures.
Some cohorts are run better than the others- especially when it comes to the education centre and would hope that Boundless spends time in making the experiences more enriching vs creating really large cohorts.

We had a wonderful time with the Boundless community in Syros. We cannot wait to do it again and try some of the other locations.

Boundless Life is an amazing way to travel as a family. We have joined for two cohorts (Sintra and Pistoia). Their Education Center is such a breath of fresh air and our kids loved the project-based learning and individual attention. The Boundless team is incredible and they make it an easy decision - if you are considering this, take the leap!

The community Boundless has created can't be measured in value for our family. From the accommodations, coworking space, and school for the kids, our entire family has enjoyed every cohort we've been on (Italy, Spain, Greece), with more to come. They have attracted so many amazing families from around the world that we have become friends as we enjoy this non-traditional life journey together. I'd recommend it to anyone looking for something different from the day-to-day rat race in the US while exploring some amazing international locations.

Boundless Life was a fantastic experience for our family. We did the Sintra and Tuscany cohorts in 2025. What made Boundless so special for us was the ease with which we could experience the culture of a new place and the instant sense of community that it provided. Our son was happy at the school, and we were able to keep up our work commitments while enjoying wonderful experiences. Boundless made it all easy. We have also maintained friends from both cohorts and even have some visiting us now. We feel like we will be connected to Boundless for a long time to come!

We spent a month in Sintra Portugal in July 2025 with Boundless Life and loved absolutely everything about it. From the crew to the activities planned for us to the education center, everything was a 10/10. We actually came back to Canada, packed up our life here and we’re starting full time travelling with Boundless starting with Syros, Greece in January. This company is exactly what we were looking for to be able to travel full time while keeping our 3 kids in an educational program. Cant wait for the next few cohorts!

Our family had a wonderful time exploring Montenegro and the surrounding area for four weeks. We made a lot of great friends and my daughter loved having so many playmates at the ready.

We spent September–November 2024 in Pistoia, Italy as part of the Boundless program — living, working, and learning alongside other families. We stayed in Leo 4, a two-bedroom apartment on the second floor of the Leo building (shared with seven other Boundless families). While the apartment didn’t get a ton of natural light, it was much larger than expected, and we even turned the breezeway into a mini-bedroom so our toddler could nap separately from our older son.

Location & Logistics: Our place was an easy 7–10 minute walk to both the Education Center and the Co-Working Hub. We rented a car mid-way through our stay but only used it on weekends — the town itself is very walkable.

Education Program: Our one-year-old was the youngest enrolled in the program and settled in quickly thanks to Julia and Illaria, who were incredible with him. Our older son was with Andre and Lorenza and absolutely thrived. By the end of the cohort, it was clear that the teachers had a deep understanding of our kids. He also joined extracurricular activities like art and cooking, and loved them both.

Community & Social Life: Pistoia itself is a charming gem of a town: small enough to bump into other Boundless families at the piazza or while grabbing gelato. Living in the Leo building felt like true village living — doors open, weekly taco nights, kids playing across flats, strangers turning into friends, and everyone looking out for one another’s children. We still keep in touch with the folks we met in Italy!

Challenges: The fall weather quickly turned cold and resulted in weeks of rain. There aren't very many kid-friendly indoor options. Lots of mosquitos but that is just the reality all over Italy

Takeaway: Even with those challenges, the pros far outweighed the cons. This experience transformed us as a family and set a new bar for how we want to live and travel in the future.

Boundless Life was honestly one of the best decisions we’ve made as a family. Our month in Tuscany gave us community, support, and a way of living that actually felt good. Our daughter loved the education center, we met amazing families, and day-to-day life felt balanced. If you're curious about living abroad with kids, Boundless makes it feel possible.

It truly was a magical experience walking our kids to school every morning down the quaint medieval streets of Pistoia. A core memory our family will share for a lifetime. And we can’t wait to do it again in another beautiful town.

We've had great experiences in Bali and Spain the last two Decembers. They were great opportunities to explore other parts of the world with structure for our solo kid as well as great community and inside tracks to local adventures thanks to knowledgeable staff. We hope to return for at least a 3 month cohort in the future!

I think this company has pros and cons depending on what your family's needs and wants are. We loved the school and teachers. They always had something new and fun to do like baking cakes or going to local markets to shop for fruit and vegetables. The organization for events was lacking. I was definitely expecting more and a bit of a wow factor that we were initially sold . The activities set up for adults weren't as exciting or interesting. I also feel communication could have been better. The staff at the location were super nice and helpful they were just understaffed so it wasnt entirely their fault for these things. In my opinion the administration needs to fix problems that everyone shares at current locations instead of trying to keep opening new ones. Bigger isn't always better. I would recommend trying boundless life to see if its a good fit for you. We're giving it another shoot soon in a different location.

The locales are amazing, cost friendly, very safe, and with rich culture and history. But the real magic is the boundless team. From the welcome experience, to the school, to the activities—it’s all first rate.

We did 6 months with boundless with two kids. Unfortunately our experience with the company was overall very negative.

We love the concept and idea of it but unfortunately they are overselling themselves.
You pay everything up front and when problems arise, they are just not handled.

People were mostly unhappy with the school and with the housing. Several kids refused to attend school because of multiple reasons but of course stil had to pay for it. No hot water for 3 months, mold, not kid friendly homes often super tiny rooms. You pay more and get less with no refund if severe problems arise.

You can't trust the sales team if you for example want to know how many families have signed up, how big the class or cohort is or how many spots are left. They make up lies as they go.
They have many housing issues like excessive mold, lack of running hot water and generally not being kids friendly.

There is a huge staff turnover in all locations mostly due to the bad work conditions. Very bad pay, lack of holidays and off days and generally they always have to take the blame for what corporate or the sales team messes up. For this asking price I don't want to worry about running hot water or staff getting enough salary.

There are plenty of alternatives most of which just don't work with as many influencers so it takes some more research.
Don’t be fooled by the influencers. They are compensated.
Also when signing up, everyone agrees not to share anything negative online, which is why you barely find critical reviews.

The adult service fee is not worth it. Those included activities constantly get canceled without replacement and you also have to pay on top. Im both programs most people worked from home because of bad wifi, the temperature in the coworking space or the noise level.
Take into account that you pay for 3 months but schooling is more like 2 months (school holidays, off days and transition week(s)) and the accomodations are for 2.5 months.

To end on a good note: We met many like minded people that brought us more into full time travelling with kids. We still consider many of them close friends. We wouldn't have grown these friendships without signing up to boundless.
