I wrote my book and then needed help getting it self-published. I couldn't believe the number of companies out there offering this kind of service. I almost spent a bunch of money with two or three of the most popular services but I thought I'd continue my search. I became more and more confused as I read more and more reviews. There's a lot of thieves out there in this field. Long story short, I finally found "Book Writing Experts" and liked what I saw and read. But I still wasn't sold. I drilled them with questions and tried to verify if they were real or just another shell company ready to take my money. Their fees weren't outlandish so I took a chance on them. Even after we got started I was sure, all of a sudden they would disappear along with my money. They set me up on 'Basecamp' a communication app and I quickly found it easy to use and understand. We started through the process and I finally became convinced they were legit. Listen, I put these poor people through the ringer! I logged in over 160 communications with Claire and Sam and they never got testy or frustrated with my slow and ever-changing requests, edits and book cover art changes.
Trust me, these people are fantastic at what they do. They are real and should be charging more for what they do and how they do it. I'm a real person and they helped me get my book published on Amazon and other book selling platforms and in a very professional looking manner. I'm H. Very, very good product for the price. I was nervous at first about selecting someone completely online, but they put me at ease by delivering quality products and doing everything they said they would do.

I gave this company a 3-star rating because I would not go to them again.
I hired them to edit/proof-read a manuscript only.

1) Their work was sometimes sloppy (sending me incomplete chapter edits), which indicates that the edits were not reviewed on their end. I had to point it out. I think in the proofreading world, this is a huge problem.
2) Their edits were sometimes inconsistently applied to the same mistakes. Again, this seems problematic for a proofreading situation
3) Though I clarified that I only wanted editing/proofreading, they attempted to upsell me at several points during the process. I understand this is their business model, but as I specified what I wanted, I wish they had waited until they completed their end of the contract to make proposals. This made me wonder if my rejections of their proposals influenced points 1 and 2.

They definitely are experts. I got the most affordable proofreading services from this company and loved the output. Your books really need a read from a different perspective before hitting the actual readers. Book Writing Experts gave me that peripheral view. Thanks, Claire and her team. Keep up the good work!
