*update June 2026* we have finally received payment for the gig we did in October 2025. Unsure what the situation is with this company but at least we have been paid now. Proceed with caution.

Avoid this company – no payment and zero communication. We’re professional entertainers who were booked for an event through this company in September. The client paid them directly, and the event went smoothly — but we still haven’t been paid for our work.

Since then, we’ve tried every way to reach them: multiple emails, messages via Facebook, Instagram, and WhatsApp, phone calls (they don’t answer and refer you back to email), and even flagging the booking on their platform. Not a single reply.

It’s now mid-October, and there’s been no payment or communication at all. Our client was lovely and had no issues with us, but we’ve advised them to avoid using this company again. Sadly, it looks like we’ll have to go through small claims court to recover what we’re owed.

Don’t book through this platform. There are loads of others (Last Minute Musicians, Encore, GigHeaven, Poptop). I think they must have basically shut down- parts of the website don’t function, and they haven’t responded to messages I sent months ago. This wasn’t always the case; but the business must have folded. I’m one of their artists, and currently panicking slightly about how I’m going to be paid for a forthcoming gig, as it’s meant to be via them.

As a professional performer, I strongly advise against using Book Entertainment. There is absolutely no communication or support. I had serious concerns for my personal safety due to a client’s behavior and tried to cancel the booking — but the platform offers no transparency, no access to contracts, and no way to manage or cancel a booking independently. It’s a complete disaster of a system, and I deeply regret ever working through this service.

Made a booking, had no response from artists so flagged the booking to ask for a refund and I haven't had any responses.

DO NOT USE!! I've been trying to get hold of anyone for over a month now. I've tried, emailing, ringing, Facebook, Instagram, Flag system (what a joke!). They've literally ignored me the whole time, except for when I've given them my deposits (funny that). Does anyone know how we can get our deposits back? Shameful service. AVOID!!!

This site appears to be redundant. Automatic responses only with no contact from admin. I'm concerned that any deposit payments made will be automatically taken with no way to resolve the issue.
