Wir hatten vom 13.-16.April das Hotel Antique in Istanbul über diese Plattform gebucht, weil wir das Hotel schon kannten und auf anderen Plattformen kein Zimmer in diesem Hotel mehr frei war. Das hätte uns eigentlich gleich verdächtig vorkommen müssen. Jedenfalls wurde das Geld abgebucht, aber im Hotel angekommen, konnte die Mitarbeiterin unsere Buchung nicht finden. Sie meinte auch, dass sie noch nie von dieser Buchungsplattform gehört habe. Sie ließ dann den Chef kommen, der konnte aber auch nichts finden. Wir haben dann versucht, auf der Hotline anzurufen - elektronische Ansage in schlechtem Deutsch und dann Warteschleife. Der Hotelchef war so freundlich, uns dann in einem anderen Hotel unterzubringen. Allerdings mussten wir nochmal bezahlen. Zuhause zurück, habe vergeblich versucht, mein doppelt gezahltes Geld zurückzubekommen. Im E-Mail-Verkehr zeigte sich booked.net zu Beginn noch verständnisvoll, um uns dann nach zwei / dreimal nachfragen mitzuteilen, dass man versucht habe, unsere Buchung in dem Hotel zu stornieren, das Hotel dies jedoch abgelehnt habe.
Geld haben wir keines gesehen. Wer das Geld nun einbehalten hat, weiß wohl nur das Hotel und booked.net selber.
Also auf jeden Fall die Finger von dieser Plattform lassen. Und wie bereits andere Gäste hier geschrieben haben; die Buchungsplattform hat keine direkten Verträge mit den jeweiligen Hotels - also Finger weg!

Worst of the worst, Bank had to step in for refund
Room types are vague, bed selections are meaningless. Booked is a reseller of a reseller that will do whatever to make a buck. I made the stupid decision to try amd save a few Japanese yen and ended up paying 30 percent more out of pocket. The entire support team is defensive, dismissive and rude. They ended up telling me to pound sand, luckily my bank stepped in on my side and refunded me my money by force avoid at all cost.

Upon reviewing this case, please be advised that you booked an Economy Double Room Non-Smoking. This room type has only one double bed or two single beds.
Based on your email you wanted to have different bed options, then the hotel selected for you, requesting a bed change means upgrading the reservation. It was natural that the hotel would charge an additional fee for that request. Next time clarify the bed option right after your booking in order to avoid this issue.
We were also emailed by the property, and they confirmed that they had the same confirmed room type as what we had.
Please accept our sincere apologies for any inconvenience; however, our company can't compensate for this kind of concern. It seems like there was some misunderstanding about the confirmed room type.
Again, we apologize for our inability to process any refund.

Do NOT use this company! I booked a room in the Galapagos islands in December for my trip in March. When I arrived, they did not have a reservation for me. When they "found" a room, it was not the superior deluxe room I paid for, but was rather their lowest quality room that cost much less than I paid. I have been trying to be reimbursed, but they are not responsive, asking for ridiculous documentation, such as a photo of the person who checked me in. I'd have better luck getting a response from a brick wall. Do NOT use this company. EVER!

Le prenotazioni vengono confermate automaticamente dopo che il cliente le ha effettuate. Le informazioni sulla prenotazione vengono inviate al partner, quindi aggiunge la prenotazione manualmente o viene inserita automaticamente nel sistema, a seconda delle impostazioni impostate.

We have reviewed the history of your inquiries regarding this reservation and would like to emphasize the following points.
As you were advised at the time of the confirmation, this booking has been made under non-refundable/non-amendable conditions and once made, we cannot make changes or waive charges. We received reservation conditions from suppliers and Hoteliers, in this form we transmit them on the website until the moment of payment, so that the client has the opportunity to review everything and agree to these conditions or reject them.
When you contacted us for the first time the reservation was amended to the requested date, despite the fact that the terms of the reservation are prohibited to make any modification. In this case, the hotel confirmed the change of dates of stay as an exception to the rules.
In spite of final hotel's decision, we double-checked this situation with the hotel and supplier. Since the booking is non refundable per cancellation policy, that would be for the hotel to decide. Unfortunately, since it was 3 years past dated booking, the amendment was denied and no exceptions are possible at this point.
In turn, we did everything we could. You can contact the hotel directly and try to come to an agreement. Let's hope that the hotel will make an exception for you.

Stand Januar 2023: wir hatten ein super Hotel in Paris gebucht, es hat alles reibungslos geklappt.
Ich war nach der Buchung aber geschockt wie alle anderen und dachte, ich sei betrogen worden, weil das Geld an booked.net ging und nicht ans Hotel. Das Hotel wurde aber von booked bezahlt und der Check-In verlief unkompliziert. Ja, booked "fischt" einen ab, weil man meint auf der Homepage des Hotels zu sein, was echt asozial ist, aber am Ende war alles OK. Sogar der Mail-Verkehr mit dem Anbieter lief gut. Not a trusted site - don’t use
We booked a room for tonight, 1/6. The goal was to find a clean room near the airport as we fly out very early in the morning.
The confirmation we got was for tomorrow 1/7. We called customer service and we were on hold for almost an hour. No one ever answered once we identified the problem, just perpetual hold music and then we were eventually disconnected.
We called the hotel directly in an effort to resolve the error and we’re told they don’t have rooms tonight.
When we tried to cancel, a message came up that if we cancel, we lose 100 percent of what we have paid - an entire night’s lodging for a room we can’t use - for an error that was not ours.
