Ich nutze Bodalgo seit Jahren für Jobcastings. Die Konkurrenz ist hart, aber mit Qualität und Erfahrung kann man sich auch durchsetzen. Ich würde mir wünschen, dass in den Budgetempfehlungen für Auftraggeber die allgemeinen Preisentwicklungen im VO Business stärker berücksichtigt würden. Abgesehen davon ist und bleibt Bodalgo die stärkste Plattform für Sprecher in Deutschland.

I've been working with Bodalgo for several years and it's great. Armin is very kind and he is very quick to respond to emails.

Quality, transparency, trust. Both the Bodalgo platform and the owner. The auditions are valid jobs with fair rates and the talent on the site have been vetted. There are no tiers for membership so equality is top of mind. Customer satisfaction is the best in the biz. I've been with Bodalgo for many years. Wouldn't change a thing.

If you are a good voice actor and want to invest in yourself in a Pay2 Play, Bodalgo is the place to be. Top clients and great potential. Armin is a first-class guy who runs a great ship and cares about his members. I have goten some great clients thru Bodalgo and look forward for more. Go Team!

The clients are always top tier,
As is Armin , which goes approves every audition opportunity , and answers emails himself and super quickly.

UPDATED: Interesting that Bodalgo says "if somebody forgets to cancel in time and contacts us about this in a friendly manner, usually a refund is in order."

My first email simply stated: I did not authorize an auto-renewal (and many states, including WA, prohibit auto-renewal without confirmation), please issue a refund, thank you.

So I guess I will update my review to say that please and thank you does not work with this company.

I joined last year and, like a few other posters noted, if you don't audition w/in an hour of the job posting, nothing will come of it.

Bodalgo sent me a receipt for my one year membership. Ther was ZERO information re: the fact that they would auto renew me until the dawn of time.

Even worse, when I contacted them, they informed me that their glaring orange this will autorenew box was right there "in your face" (their choice of words, not mine. probably a translation hiccup. nonetheless... ) and not hidden in small print.

Maybe everyone else has trees out back that grow $450 nuts. I do not have said tree and am gobsmacked that the company is so determined to hang on to money that was ill-gotten.

Als Sprecherin ist diese Plattform eigentlich perfekt- sehr interessante Aufträge, faire Vergütung, klare Kommunikation. ABER: es kommt NIE zu einem Auftrag. Warum? und es geht anderen Sprecherkollegen ähnlich. Ich bin auf vielen Plattformen und überall bekomme ich Aufträge- bei der einen Plattform mehr, der anderen weniger. Aber in einem Jahr 0 Vermittlung ist schon bitter- daher bin ich jetzt leider runter von der zahlenden Variante. Echt schade! Vielleicht kann das Konzept überdacht werden- denn für eine zahlende Variante erwartet man auch einen Erfolg.

BEWARE VOICE ARTISTS!!

Trying to leave or cancel your subscription is hidden away in complex blogs that apparently are ‘easy to find’.

When you sign up for this, they do mention it is ongoing (as they since have copy pasted to me in conversation and I obviously can’t argue with that) A big yellow box is fine, but it needs to be accessible and easy to find other than on point of sign up.

Despite what is said below, I did try and cancel but as there was no clarification as to what I signed up for via email or on the dashboard of the site - I did assume it must have been for one month - or I would surely be able to find how to cancel!!

For those wanting to cancel, I was sent this link below, to a blog about profile settings features - obviously somewhere I would look for cancellation information 🙄

The customer service and way I’ve been spoken to is APPALLING. I’ve never been spoken to so badly from customer services. Truly, I would have been less aggravated by the whole situation if the tone of the customer services hadn’t been so awful. I didn’t ask for aggression and to be patronised, I didn’t ask for you to work at a weekend. I’d have rather have waited and been spoken to pleasantly and shown to the right direction. I had clearly hit a nerve (probably as I’m not the first person to highlight this issue) as they were on the defence from the beginning.

Aside from that the job selection is not huge and I personally think it isn’t worth the money. Also, good to note that companies are not charged to post their jobs, but freelancers are charged to find jobs…

Even if the work was excellent, the service I received has made me never want to touch the website again.

I've been with Bodalgo for over a decade. Hands down the best P2P site out there for voiceovers. They have been consistently professional, quick to address any issues, and seemingly uninterested in the race to the bottom that characterizes the operating models and jobs on offer at so many other similar sites.

I'm always getting auditions from this company, and I've gotten a few good paying gigs from them too!

Although I haven't booked yet on bodalgo, in the few months I've been on the site I have been shortlisted and it is definitely the slickest, most data informative, and most convenient platform I have used as a voice actor. I very much appreciate the rate guide which both talent AND clients can see and reference. And I appreciate being able to see if my audition was even listened to, and know what percentage of auditions that client GENERALLY listens to if they have used the site before. I also find the professional and positive quality of the client base refreshing and encouraging. Other sites I have used are flooded with AI/TTS jobs (...why would I help robots take my jobs?), very low paying jobs, and a lot of attitude from the start from clients about what they won't consider.... a huge turn off. I also like how much advice about the vo business and booking is available right on the site. The only thing I would like to see (in addition to a booking!) is the ability to upload video demos. On other sites, in my vo profile I can upload a commercial or animation clip and one can hear my voice in context which I think is a cool thing.

BODALGO is great for finding voice actors for a project. The casting feature is easy to use, and the overall usability of the site is excellent. The BODALGOMAT provides a good estimate of what a voice actor should cost, and the selection of voiceover talents is huge. Highly recommended!

I've been with Bodalgo for some years now. The casting briefs are top quality. I've had some great voice-over roles with Bodalgo, and Armin is always very helpful.

And the icing on the cake? There are now free group tutorials online presented by fantastic directors and experts in the business. Great for boosting your career!
