Extremely robust
I purchased the Blunt Sports model and have to say I’m impressed by its high quality. This quality is reflected in all aspects from its engineered construction to its sheath.
I generally prefer wearing shirts minus a coat and so enjoy that I know I’m not going to get soaked. I feel I don’t have to be concerned over high winds either - I’m aware that these umbrellas have been tested up to 73 mph. In brief, I have no hesitation in recommending Blunt - particularly the ‘Sport’ model. Superb !
Successful umbrella repair with exemplary customer service support.
Following an incident which caused catastrophic damage to the shaft of my Blunt Classic umbrella, I thought that it might have been beyond economical repair.
However, after contacting Blunt via email, I discovered that the UK repair facility was close to my home. I arranged to deliver the umbrella and collect it again a few days later.
The Blunt representatives with whom I corresponded and spoke could not have provided me with a better user experience.
My thanks to the Blunt team for their exemplary service support.
Do not buy anything from this company
I suspect this company has gone bust or stopped their business in the UK as there is no response from customer service what so ever. I have given up and I’m trying to get my money back through my credit card provider. £200 out of pocket for months now, NOT acceptable.

Lack of Response: Disappointed with BLUNT Umbrella Purchase
Absolutely frustrated with my BLUNT umbrella purchase made on their official website during the Black Friday sale on November 27th, 2023. It's now December 14th, and my Royal Mail tracking number shows no progress since the initial status of them awaiting the parcel from the sender. Despite multiple attempts, including five emails, a couple of phone calls, and a live chat session after 8 pm UK time, I haven't received a single response from BLUNT. I'm out £100, and it seems like I've just thrown my money away. Appalling customer service and a complete waste of time and money. Avoid BLUNT at all costs!
If this review remains unchanged, it indicates that I have not received any response from them yet.
Terrible customer service!
Ordered during Black Friday sale. Tracking email says item has been despatched but stuck and hasn’t moved since 27th November. Two emails later I still don’t have my product nor a reply about what they are going to do to fix the issue.

Zero customer service… literally being ignored...
Very disappointing customer service experience. I ordered an umbrella during the black Friday sale. About a day later, my preferred color came back in stock so i ordered that too.
I sent an email to cancel the original order but accidentally sent the email before i had finished writing in all the details (not realizing). A few hours later i realized and sent another email with all the details (i.e. I have order X and order Y, please cancel X).
However when the team received the first email saying 'please cancel order...' - they saw that I had two orders.. and instead of writing back to confirm which one I meant, they just (using their words) 'took a guess' and cancelled the wrong one.
so now i have had the order i didn't want delivered. I have been in touch and customer service suggested that i post it back (at my own cost) and they'll switch it for the one i wanted.
why should this be my cost? NO other company has ever said to me - oh we weren't sure so we 'took a guess'. Send me a reply email and clarify.
I have since emailed back twice, phoned, and used the chat leave a message function - and have been utterly ignored. I'm requesting that postage be paid for by Blunt, rather than by me.
At this stage i don't even want the other umbrella! If something goes wrong with it - how do i know i can repair it or have any customer service?
Very disappointed in the staff member just being too lazy to check and just choosing a random order to cancel. Then very disappointed in being repeatedly ignored.
Happy with my purchase
Haven't used my brolly yet, but was recommended to me by an NZ friend and I trust their judgement! I waited for Black Friday and was pleased to purchase the Metro for £45. Purchased Thursday and arrived today (Saturday) despite the busy shopping period - excellent! Now just need it to rain :)
Disappointing.
Hmmm. I'm in a weird position writing this review. I've owned a blunt mini for 10 years and no issue. Bought a larger (and more expensive) one for my partner and it has literally fallen apart in less than a year. It is under warranty, so I noted my disappointment and sent it for repair.
They've just sent me a bill. To repair an umbrella I paid almost £100 for in July last year. It's only a minimal amount but it's not the point. I didn't even get an acknowledgement or apology for it falling apart initially.
I always supported these guys but seems the quality and service has fallen and I'm no longer able to recommend them.
Feel completely ripped off actually.
Even better in use than id expected
The idea is even better in use than I’d expected, the rounded corners mean it’s much easier to use in busy areas. However, it’s relatively large when folded compared to its open size. It would be great if it could be made smaller when folded.
No response to voicemails or email
The umbrellas look great. But I need some advice before buying. Over the last 5 days I have left 3 voicemails and one email to try and get some advice. No response at all. If this is the level of customer service, should I buy one ?? Please call me !

Delivery Issue Resolution
Issues with initial delivery, which sounds like it wasn't Blunt's fault, and Blunt's customer service unresponsive to my first few emails. However, once the customer service team did respond, the replacement umbrella was received promptly and the team stayed on top of communication.
