It’s odd that I see people giving bad reviews… they gave me all my money! It was relatively quick, just a couple weeks.

This is a scam business. They have kept my phone and have not paid me, nor responded to several follow-up emails or by phone. They will quickly send you the shipping label and correspond by email with courtesy in the beginning, but then they go dark after sending in your phone despite their promise to pay. Scam!

5/13/2025 Update: their run-arounds continue. See latest email thread below with me asking them several days ago for an update, with no response. They have effectively stolen my iPhone. This is for an order placed on 3/24 nearly 2 months ago. 0 star-rating if possible, this is NOT a trustworthy business.

3RD UPDATE: May 20th I received the following text message.

“I apologize for the delay — we did get backed up. However, rest assured that we’re just waiting on a transfer to complete. I’ve been notified that it should be in within approximately 4 business days.

Thank you for your patience!”

I HAVE STILL NOT BEEN PAID

2ND UPDATE: 9:54 PM on May 11th and I have not been contacted again since they asked me to remove my review in exchange for payment. I have not been paid.

Update: The company reached out after seeing this review and apologized for the delay. They offered to pay me that day (Friday May 2nd) with an additional 5 percent on top. I agreed and awaited payment. As of today 5/7 12:34 pm I have not been paid or received any additional communication

Blue Chip Celular has been in possession of my two phones (iPhone 14 pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max) for 92 days.

I sent them the phones in response to a quote I received and in exchange for the phones they were to provide me with 992 dollars.

Since their receipt of the phones they have given multiple excuses as to why they cannot fulfill my payment such as a death in the family, workers are on spring break, new legislation that makes it difficult for them to receive transfers and funds and thus, cannot pay their clients.

I have asked repeatedly for them to send the phones back if they do not have the funds to pay for the transaction. They have not sent the phones back.

One month after receipt of my phones they sent me a partial payment of 300 dollars.

After another month and a half of no payment I started copying my lawyer on the email exchanges with the company. They sent me a second partial payment of 300 dollars.

Since then they have not responded to a single email or text that I have sent requesting updates on the status of my final payment(s). I have been effectively “ghosted”

Today is the 92nd day in which they have been in possession of my phones without having paid the transaction in full.

I received very prompt offer for my relatively new and pristine iPhone with the shipping label. That part of the process was super easy. The hard part has been getting paid. They received the phone. 2 weeks after I sent the phone, I reached out to ask for an update. At that point, I was told that they sent me a revised offer for my phone (which I never did receive) about $ 50 less than the original offer because of some flaws in the phone. After my continual follow-ups, I received a Venmo for 50% of the money owed to me and then as a result of my contacts, a manager reviewed the video of my inspection to ensure the correct amount was appropriate and I received full payment. Management has shared that they are working to correct their issues.

SCAM!! Sent two brand new iPhones and it’s been 2+ months. They sent me 2% through Venmo what is owed to me for the brand new phones I sent them. Every time I reach out, they only reply days later through text “our funds haven’t been released yet, sorry for the inconvenience”. DO NOT SEND THEM YOUR PHONES!!!!!

Blue Chip Celular offered me a good price for my phone and paid the amount they offered. We had a small communication mix-up, but in the end all was perfect and I would do business with them again. Thank you Blue Chip Celular!

After being lowballed for my phone, we finally agreed on a price. I received half of the payment 2 weeks after shipping my phone...I am STILL waiting on the other half! This has been going on almost a month!!! Beware of this company!! You will never get anyone on the phone and all you will get are excuses why your payment hasn't been sent yet!! They're scammers and have horrible customer service!! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!!!

They are theives!!!!!!! Paid for expedited shipping for my phone. They’ve had it over 1.5 weeks now. Won’t answer me, won’t pay me, won’t send it back!!!! STAY FAR AWAY!!!!!!!! This company owes me $650 dollars for my brand new iPhone 15 pro max 256gb mint condition with box. They refuse to reply or pay me.

Scam company Blue Chip Celular - this company bought my iphone 11 - perfect condition and their check bounced - total THIEVES AND LIARS - I have emails and their check to prove this company is garbage.

Sold a few phones to BCC recently. Their price quotes were a bit higher than others.

But it took over 2 weeks to get paid after the phones were delivered. No way to reach them on the phone (goes to voicemail each time). Whenever I email or text, I do get a response usually within 24 hours. But the responses just apologize for the delay and promises to process the phones right away. It still took over 2 weeks to get paid. And instead of one lump sum payment, the payments were made in increments or roughly $250 or so over the matter of a week.

In the end I did get paid the promised amount. The amounts were higher than offered elsewhere. But it was very slow and frustrating. I would NOT use BCC again in the future. Other companies are much faster with their payments.
