If my salesperson had spent a little…
If my salesperson had spent a little time thinking she would have suggested automated blinds for a full height window
Instead we ordered manual and then re ordered auto a shad to essentially buy a second blind because the effort of opening and closing was ridiculous .
That the price to have automated was a few hundred dollars on top of an order in the thousands was stupid . It should have been suggested as the right choice and we would have picked it.
Also - our home very high end. Obviously we were not going for a low cost option on a new full height window that was recently installed .
I feel that we were not well supported by our service team . She gave me a discount on the purchase base of the second duplicate blind but I never should have needed it in the first place .
And the auto blinds took over two Months to arrive and when I went to schedule installation online the next fate was a month later , making measure to install date 3 months . Our rep shortened that. Still far too long .
That’s also a bad showing on many fronts .
And the fact you could not retrofit a new blind to automatic is appalling !
So all in all the product excellent and the support very poor

Mixed good & disappointing experience
I have previously rated my experience (3) and written detailed comments. Today I am asked again, and I am also told that I won't be asked again after today. We'll see.
I previously said that our blackout blind is perfect, just what we wanted and ordered. Demerits in my rating were due to sloppy communication from BTG - telling us when it will be ready, then it not being ready, then announcing a new date and calling us ahead of that date to say it is ready. Also, after receiving the product and being told at the time of ordering that self-installation is easy, I called to ask if any installation instructions might be available (were not included), and what was forwarded was lame (tiny images). So: some good news, some bad news.

Exceptional service
From the moment I walked in the store until my blinds were hung on the windows the service was wonderful. The staff were professional, friendly and pleased to answer any of my questions. The sales person helped me choose the blinds I wanted and the person who installed them did so on time, made sure they looked good and explained how to use the remote for my motorised blinds. I am very pleased.

Terrible drapes. Terrible service. Do not recommend.
I ordered both blinds and drapes in November, installed early December. The quality of the drapes is shockingly bad. They are too short, too bulky, and sewn badly. They are so poorly made they look like a bad home sewing project. And they were incredibly expensive. I have been trying to communicate with your company without any response as to how to resolve this. One missed call and a follow up email telling me they called. Nothing since. This is the worst customer service experience. I want my money back.
