Over rated and dishonest
First, nothing stays in stock for long. I placed a previous order and found out after placing the order my size was sold out. I received a store credit. I went to use the $73.14 credit after waiting a month for my size to be in stock only to find they declined my credit and wanted to charge me full price. No one answered my request for help so I cancelled the order. Now they have stolen $73.14 from me and act like it never happened. I had to file a formal complaint with the Better Business Bureau to request a refund. Avoid this company. It's not worth the frustration.

No response from customer service
After getting my order on time, I had to exchange a pair of shorts...return it, and then the exchange is supposed to be delivered. My return isn't showing up for some reason even though it was properly returned and I have emailed 4 times with NO response. So as of now, I am out $80. TERRIBLE customer service. There should be a 24-48 hour window of responding to customers.
I have been emailing for 10 days and no response and no product. As far as I’m concerned they stole $80 from me. I will be reporting them to BBB and FTC as well

Worst customer service ever. Rude & condescending for somehhhg they did wrong. Horrible. I allowed many opportunities to make things right but they refused & were very rude
Nice style, poor quality!
I really like the style, and fit of the shorts, but the quality of the fabric is a joke. I had three pairs and they all start pilling after minimal wear and one wash. They seriously have some fabric quality issues that are not acceptable for the price of the product.

Customer Service Nightmare
Bought two pair of shorts. By the time summer came and I tried them on I realized that they ran small.
Tried to exchange within their 45 day policy, and was within 45 days of receiving, but they count from the shipping date. What sense does that make? I could not have had the chance to return until I received them!

Pathetic customer service. Noticed product being sent to wrong address 2 days before delivery, contacted Birddogs through their email, no response until day of delivery when they told me to contact DHL in that DHL did not respond to merchant well, DHL told me they could only deal with merchant in that merchant was the one that sent product. Birddogs were flippant and unprofessional providing no customer service

Comfortable shorts and look good before their first wash. However after one wash there is already lots pilling and rips across the fabric that causes small balls to form after only one wear and wash. I might expect this from a pair of $15 shorts but not for a pair of $75 shorts.

What a scam company!! Not advertised as promised. Look and feel really cheap!! Now here’s the caveat. They make you pay for the shipping return! Also a 9.00 restocking fee!!!! What a crooked company. Terrible customer service for this company. Their performance polos have some weird pilling that causes sheen changes.
I showed them it, and asked them if they would suggest something to do for this, inclusive of a exchange.
They said no, sorry it is happening. Didn't offer any alternatives.
Also took them roughly 2 weeks to get back without fully answering my question.

Comfortable but very poor quality and they don’t care. I’ve purchased at least a half dozen pairs of shorts over time and they all pill for little to no reason. I promise this is not from hard wear. They just use poor quality fabrics. I’ve brought this to BD’s attention and they ask for a barrage of information when you inquire about a refund or replacement, which is their way of not addressing their quality issues. Go elsewhere. There are way too many options out there.

I ordered two pair of shorts and added an XL t-shirt. Got the shorts BUT no T-shirt. I contacted them several times even with a screen shot of the order including the free t-shirt and they REFUSED to send the shirt.

Borderline scam artist
Borderline scam artist. Offer a discount code and once it was added at check out my $69 shorts went up to $75 despite no marked discount on the shorts. I also noticed I could visit the site from a Facebook ad and see prices different then when I went to the site via my browser. The ceo ads always kinda intrigued and annoyed me, after this and reading these reviews I think my initial gut feeling that this guy is a sleezeball were right.
I purchased 3 pair of Birddogs shorts…
I purchased 3 pair of Birddogs shorts and the XL size is no where close to the same XL size shorts I purchased less than 3 years ago. I contacted customer service via email as that is the only way to communicate with Birddogs, and sent pictures of the difference (new shorts laid on top of old shorts) between the new and old size shorts. The new shorts are at least 2 inches smaller in circumference in each leg than the older shorts. I was informed by Tim in customer service that maybe the old shorts were mislabeled and maybe I should exchange my order for XXL shorts. I followed his instructions and the XXL shorts are too large, so that tells me the old shorts were not mislabeled. Contacting Birddogs again for a return I was informed by Matt that exchanges of an exchange cannot be returned. So now I am stuck with over a $150 of shorts that do not fit after following the instructions of their customer service department. I will accept the XL shorts in lieu of an exchange of the XXL shorts and pay the shipping, but apparently Birddogs loves misleading customers into a return for merchandise they know cannot be returned. Last contact with Matt I was told it was a decision of a supervisor if they would accept an exchange for XL shorts. One month has passed and still no answer. Terrible customer service.

Absolutely atrocious customer service. False advertisements, lack of empathy, ridiculously slow return process with little updates. Laughable at this point
Average quality products, for a high price
I ordered a polo, pair of khakis, and some board shorts. The Total was $320. Birddogs took 7 days just to process the order, which is very long and obnoxious. Their clothing isn't cheap, but the quality of their clothes is very average. I was disappointed with all three items. I'm going to return them all, and never use Birddogs again, and don't recommend them! If they're going to charge quality prices, they need to offer quality products!
