Sam was awesome and made such an effort to ensure the wine gift box was delivered in time. He personally delivered it in such a beautiful presentation box and bag. So impressed. I’m sure Chris will love the specially chosen wines from Bowral and I’ll definitely be placing another order for myself. Sarah

Great hampers

Great hampers, always well received. I have used Bird & Barrel now over a number of years. Customer service is always attentive and friendly and delivery is fast. Thank you!

The online ordering process was super easy and delivery was fast. I wish I had've known that the wine was posted rather than couriered. In the end our gift recipients had to go to an AustPost outlet to collect their wine, which wasn't the experience I wanted them to have.

Hi Peita, thank you for your review. We stopped using couriers last year, due to long delays in delivery and the fact that they mostly leave cards for collection at depots, which are even more inconvenient. We are with Eparcel, which is a very reliable service and has more features than a normal Australia Post service. The parcel was delivered to a company in commerical premises, and we ensure that we get a signature delivery if there is no-one there to receive it, due to the fact that things can go missing. So we have had to weigh up what is the quickest and safest option for all our deliveries. We do understand your frustration and appreciate the feedback. We can possibly amend our delivery options in the cart to be more clear on these sorts of deliveries. Perfect 50th birthday gift

I ordered my brother the Pinot Noir box of three wines for his 50th birthday. Beautifully presented and a lovely selection.

First time order, a well thought out service.

First time order. A gift for a friend in Melbourne. The catalogue showed a nice choice to select from. Given the quality of the packaging and presentation the price was quite reasonable The ordering process is well designed and a key feature is the option to add a personal note, important when it's a gift. Once ordered Australia Post provided tracking updates. However it took 8 days (or 6 working ) to deliver. Waiting to hear from my friend who is probably traveling!
Footnote, my friend has received the delivery and is delighted. I saw a photo on WhatsApp and I have to say it looked terrific and the personal note was perfectly presented. A quality service, 10/10
