Unreliable, no any confirmation, no reservation number after payment
I made a hotel reservation in Marbella on April 17. The money was charged immediately, BUT there has been no confirmation email with a reservation number or any other feedback. There is no information available to track the booking.
Check-in is planned for April 18. We are traveling as a family with a child, and right now we are essentially in a situation where we may end up without a hotel despite having paid for it.
There is no support phone number, only an email.
Avoid! Trust only official websites.
Billabook (aka Bilabook) scammed me
Billabook (aka Bilabook) scammed me. They did not make the reservation I paid them to make. The hotel had no reservation from them for me, and never heard of them. Billabook used it's "no refunds or cancellation" policy to justify not refunding my money. However, US law says that if a vendor does not deliver the product or service they received payment for, their "no refund policy" does not apply, the contract was breached and the money must be refunded. Yes I used Mastercard. No, Mastercard did not refund my money.

Changed cancellation policy after payment
Booked a specific hotel because the booking stated free cancellations until April 29 on several pages during the booking process. Kept screenshots of every page. As soon as I'd paid, it said that cancellations after April 14th were $30 and not possible after April 29th. Emailed to complain immediately (evening April 10th) as no phone number available anywhere. Received response April 11th with the confirmation of my booking again, no follow up. Replied with demand to have originally stated cancellation date honoured, have not heard since (April 13th); cancelled reservation and flagged to my credit card company. Wish I'd read the reviews here first!

I just recently booked the airport holiday inn Santiago , and became suspicious when I did not receive an email confirmation , I asked many times and the system said it sent one and nothing , I called the hotel and they have no record of my booking … now my reservation is for next week and it could be that everything is fine but there is zero communication from this company

Charged extra for a fake upgraded room
They advertised a room that doesn't exist. The confirmation came through and they charged us $100 extra for a room they were advertising as full sea view. We paid $100 extra for a full sea view only for the confirmation to show a regular view that was on the website for $100 less. I have been waiting two weeks for a response from them and so far no one has gotten back to me. I would avoid using them your much better off with any other booking site that isn't trying to scam you for a fake room.

I am writing this to warn other travelers. Billabook is refusing to provide a full refund for my booking (ID: 1332652) at Bedford Hotel Brussels, even though the hotel has officially waived all fees and authorized a 100% refund due to the war. Billabook is trying to illegally keep 30% of my money and has been ignoring my emails for over a week. This is unacceptable and unprofessional. I have already reported this to econsumer.gov.""WARNING: THEY HAVE DEACTIVATED THEIR EMAILS. All my emails to booking@ and support@ are bouncing. They are hiding from a legal refund for Booking 1332652. I have filed report 199716600 with econsumer.gov."CEO Amir Muallem and Billabook are ghosting customers. Refund for 1332652 is being stolen. Reported to authorities." Don’t book through this agency, if you asked them for refund they will block you, I asked for chargeback and I escalated this issue.

The email reply was very fast like 12h, and I had no issues. Will book with them again for sure. I guess, just make sure everything is all booked and paid for in advance, don’t let it to last minute in case there are issues for this company to have time to adress them.

The only reason this isn’t 1 star is because I did in fact get my room, however I could’ve easily not and do not reccomend booking here.
First off, it took hours to get my booking confirmation and then confirmation given looks anything but legit.
2nd, I show up to the hotel and they could not find it for 10 minutes and eventually did but I think they may have just took my word for it - I got lucky.
3rd they said they had no internal record of it and when they tried to search through billabook their site was down and they couldn’t.
4th I emailed billabook and requested a confirmation email multiple times after not receiving it originally and haven’t heard back from anything
TLDR I got lucky to work with a reasonable hotel, you may not. Look at all the other reviews - this is NOT worth the risk to save $20.
Disappointing
I would strongly advise others to be cautious.
I booked a hotel in Paris through their platform, but when I became suspicious of their confirmation e-mail, I called the hotel to confirm my reservation, and the hotel had no record of my reservation. The confirmation I first received from Billabook was an internal booking number, which the hotel can not use to locate any reservation. Billabook reference 1854878.
My bank has confirmed that the payment for this Paris booking was processed to a merchant in Tel Aviv, not France.
Update 1 25.03: Got a response with fraudulent red flags and stalling tactics. Called the hotel, still no reservation.
Update 2 25.03: Received an e-mail from Billabook with the supposedly official confirmation number. Called the hotel and number is not valid; still no reservation in my name.
Update 3 25.03: Received from Billabook five automatically generated e-mails with the same invalid "confirmation number". Keep calling the hotel and number is still invalid, no reservations.
Final update: My bank suggested that we cancel our credit card and file a chargeback, what we did. Afterwards I received a call from Billabook saying that they had booked the room and providing a reservation number. I called the hotel and it was confirmed.
Altogether an extressful and time-consuming experience.

Firstly, this portal has no hotline number; secondly, emails are only answered after days; and when it comes to the reimbursement of costs, you get no answer at all. DOWNRIGHT CRIMINALS!
Update (after response of Billabook to the original review above): since their legal/public relations department is very responsive in regards to open criticism (by requesting further details to the booking), we kindly advise them to take a look in the claims and open issues of their support team ...
