Teddy Bear

The bear was said to be 5 feet, but when I received it, it wasn't as big as I thought it was but it was overall ok.

Hi. Please measure the bear from head to toe, it should be 60 inches long (which is five feet). As stated in the description, the measurement is from head to toe (not from rump up to head in sitting position). We have shipped a very large number of these without any complaints at all, so we want to make sure that you received the right bear. After measuring it, if you find that the actual measurement is not 60 inches, please let us know immediately, as it may be that you received the wrong bear, and in that case we would immediately re-ship you the correct bear at no extra charge.

I just tried calling you and received your voice mail, so I left a voice mail message with a direct phone number to call us back regarding this issue. We want you to be satisfied, so please do measure the bear and let us know what you find, so we can help if there is any size issue here. Thank you.

Never got it.

I never got the bear I ordered and have been calling forever. Left my phone number and voicemails. Got nothing back. Won't be shopping here again and will be telling everyone to order from
Amazon.

it was nice speaking by phone just a few minutes ago. As we discussed, the original address you gave us when you placed your order with us on January 15th had the wrong apartment number. As a result, your personalized giant stuffed animal order WAS delivered on January 17th (two days after you placed your order - and SEVEN days EARLIER than the guaranteed latest delivery date for the FREE shipping that you selected) - however the delivery was made to the apartment number that you gave us, (which was the wrong apartment number) and therefore your gift recipient never received it. You can track that original Priority Mail shipment at usps.com with THIS tracking # 9405515901484987040304.

Our records show that you did indeed call us 2 days ago on January 24th and left a voicemail message inquiring about the whereabouts of the parcel; and we are sorry your call was not responded to faster.

In any event I am happy that we reached a solution today where we will re-ship a NEW personalized stuffed animal to the correct NEW apartment number you gave us today - and we will NOT charge you anything at all for the reshipment. We understand you are entering the US Military soon, and we want to do our part to help make this easier for you in this case.

Your NEW Priority Mail tracking number for your re-shipment is 9405515901484987042445. As we discussed, your new shipment will not ship until the personalization is completed which will be within the next few days. So the new tracking number will not show activity for the next 2 or 3 days - until the personalization is complete and the re-shipment is picked up by the postal service. Then it should arrive within just a few days after it was picked up from us.

Terrible Customer Service

We ordered a Teddy Bear from Big Plush and it arrived very quickly (only positive thing about this experience). A week later we found the same exact bear for $30. So we decided to return the $100 bear. We called the number provided online. The first time I called I spoke to a customer service rep who informed me that their servers were down (how convenient) so I would need to email him with all the information he requested so I did. I sent a follow up email since I hadn't received my return authorization number or the correct address to return my product (which is what it says they will do online). Two weeks went by and I heard nothing from him...so I called back and got someone else who told me she couldn't help me and that the previous rep was busy but she would let him know I would be emailing again. To which I did but still haven't heard a peep from him. I will NEVER use this company again and will tell everyone I know NEVER to use them. Not only are they way over priced they are unhelpful and unfriendly...all they want is your money!!

****Update*****
After posting the above review I did receive an email from Big Plush offering a full refund and allowed me to keep the bear. I have changed my stars to 4 because they went above and beyond to make things right which they didn't have to do. Thank you for providing excellent customer service the second time around and we will absolutely use you in the future.

We had many unforeseen challenges during the Christmas Holiday season, which caused our customer service to suffer greatly. I researched your order and see that you did, indeed contact during the Christmas season and were indeed promised a return authorization number - which was never sent to you. We deeply regret this. We have issued you a 100% refund, and you may keep the product for free. We also tried calling you by phone, and left a voice mail with a number you can call us back on.

We are very sorry this happened, and we are building new systems and adding people to ensure this kind of thing does not happen in the future.

Very easy to order. Was delivered very fast and the product was in perfect condition, exactly how I ordered it. I would recommend this company to anyone!

great service, fast delivery, quality of stuffing may be questionable

as a company they are great, the product arrived before the estimated shipping date and is as impressive as it looked in the pictures. My only complaint is i am over seas and i was ordering something for a loved ones birthday and was looking for a product that was soft to squeeze for them. This bear seemed to be stuffed with a hard material that made a lot of noise when you pressed on it. Seemed like a common cheap maybe packing peanut style stuffing. This maybe jus tthat specific style of bear i ordered and it ended up working out better but without being able to touch a product first be sure to know what you're looking for.

Very bad service

This is the worst customer service!
No one should order, my order that i have been waiting for 2 weeks got cancelled on the day its supposed to be arriving for no reason and left me with no surprise gift on a birthday, which was very embarressing.

Hi, I'll be happy to help.

We researched your order and see that you placed your order on January 14th and told us to Ship Internationally to the United Arab Eremites. You selected "Express Mail International" as your shipping method, and told us you needed delivery there in exactly 4 days in order to arrive in time for a birthday. As stated on the website, International shipments sent via Postal Service have no guaranteed delivery date and may take between 1 week and 3 week on average for delivery - but there are no date-definite guarantees whatsoever because delivery date is dependent entirely on Customs within each Country.

When you placed your order on January 14th, you added the following implicit instructions in the checkout box where it asks if there is anything important we should know about your order, and this is exactly what you wrote:
"I need it to be delivered on 19/01/2015 because that is the birthday, please let me know if it would not arrive on that day"

We immediately contacted you and told you that we would go above and beyond our normal procedures, and we offered to ship via UPS International Express with delivery Guaranteed on the exact date that you wanted, which was January 19th 2015 (which was just 4 days from when you placed your order). You then replied that you did NOT want to spend the additional funds necessary to ship this from USA to the United Arab Emirates with GUARANTEED Delivery in 4 days - which you originally wanted.

You then also told us to go ahead and ship the normal way you originally selected, which was via Postal Express Mail International. But very soon after that, you called us again and became irritated that the box may take 1 to 3 weeks for delivery, which we had already explained, and which is stated on our site. We then therefore explained to you that we could not live up to your delivery expectations, and therefore we immediately refunded 100% of your entire payment and cancelled the order.

We love our customers, but sometimes we simply can not satisfy everyone. Let us know if you have any other concerns, and we will certainly do our best to address them to your satisfaction.

I want to let you know that I had an excellent experience with Big Plush. I purchased 2 LARGE stuffed animals from them for Xmas. The stuffed animals were of excellent quality and loved by the recipients. Also the experience was fast, easy and uncomplicated.
Would order from them again in heartbeat!!

I have not received my order and it was ordered January 6th.

I'm not sure what to do since I haven't received my order. It was a gift and it hasn't been delivered. I got three emails from the website itself approving my purchase, so I know that the credit card was charged, but it was never sent nor emailed. This is a huge problem that needs to be taken care of immediately!!! This is very urgent.

Great stuffed animals

I ordered a giant moose for my girlfriend as a gift for her birthday and she loves it. The quality is great and shipping is not too long, it was right before her birthday one day. I would definitely come back and order more lovely stuffed animals from you guys in the future.

Thanks for your thoughts. I see that you ordered a big personalized stuffed animal on January 3, 2015 and you selected this shipping method: "Will Arrive By JAN. 7th - Delivered on or before Jan. 7th FLAT RATE SHIPPING - Delivery GUARANTEED No Later Than WED. 01/07/15".

I tracked your parcel at ups.com with your tracking number 1ZE710V91396508561 and it shows that UPS picked your parcel up from us on Jan. 6th, and delivered it to you the next day on Jan 7th.

Did you try contacting us about your issue other than this review? We are not sure what exactly you did not like, or what the specific minor damage was that you described in your review. We will reach out to you to fund out exactly what went wrong - then we will do whatever is necessary to ensure you are satisfied.

Best customer service I've ever experienced

There was an oversight with my order which caused a delay in fulfilling and therefore delivering when expected- although I was upset and not the best to deal with at the time, bigplush.com not only made a point to contact after business hours, but was extremely professional and helpful. I highly recommend and will use again!

Not good

I ordered a gift for my girlfriend over a month ago and I have yet to see it. I paid a lot of money for it so I called to get to the bottom of it and was forced to leave a message and customer service must not be a priority to this company because I never received a call back. I will NOT do business here again. Plain and simple....not a trustworthy place for online shopping.

Hi,

I'll be happy to help. I see you placed your order on Dec 15, 2014. You selected the following shipping method: "*FREE* SHIPPING: WILL Arrive *AFTER* Christmas - Delivered on or before Dec. 31st - Delivery GUARANTEED No Later Than Wednesday, December 31st".

I tracked your parcel at usps.com with your tracking number 9405515901484987027039 and it shows that the US Postal Service picked-up your parcel from us on Dec. 15, 2014. This was shipped via 2-Day Priority Mail. Unfortunately we had a big problem with many Priority Mail shipments in December 2014 (scroll down and read all the other complaints). About 10% of our Priority Mail shipments in December sat for extended periods of time in the Postal System - and many were eventually delivered much later than scheduled - and still some were not yet delivered at all (such as your package). We have had several meetings with the local Postmaster to determine the root cause, and fix the issues that caused this on a local level.

We sincerely regret 2 things:
1. That your package was among those not delivered by the Postal Service.
and
2. That we failed to communicate with you and gave you very poor customer service.

Therefore we have done 2 things:
1. We just refunded you back 100% of your payment (we emailed you confirmation of the refund in a separate email),
and
2, We are re-shipping your giant Kangaroo (for Free) tomorrow January 15th, with this NEW ups tracking number: 1ZE710V90394113956. Track it tomorrow night at ups.com.

We are extremely sorry about this issue, and we are learning from these missteps, and working hard to develop systems to avoid this in the future (at least regarding things we control - such as customer service).

Please let us know if we can help in any other way.

best birthday present evet

All my daughter wanted to 16th birthday was a 5 ft teddy bear..this bear was perfect! Excellent quality and fast service. Highly satisfied.

Disappointing, not very 'plushy'

We ordered the 5' tall husky for our daughter, after reading other reviews we were expecting a nice 'plushy' stuffed animal, only in giant size. We were very disappointed to receive an over-sized carnival stuffed animal; thin fur, not soft or plushy at all. The only spot on him that was soft and furry was his cheeks. The rest of him feels almost gross and is super thin. Don't imagine he will last long. We were also disappointed after paying $95.00 for freight for a "30lb box that 2 people can fit inside" We weighed the box as soon as it got here knowing it was falling a little short. It weight 17.5lbs and possibly 2 ten year olds could have crammed inside. Not sure why the super expensive shipping. If they would get the weight correct shipping would probably be half as much. This product is waaaay over-priced.

I'll be happy to help. It appears from reading your review that we stuffed this product incorrectly. We will fix it and make it right. We are reshipping another dog that is stuffed with the correct SOFT filling.

We apologize for this; the premium soft stuffing that we use for our retail customers is different than the stuffing used for some of our amusement customers. We deeply regret that it appears that you received your dog with the wrong filling.

We have emailed you your new UPS tracking number for your new re-shipment. It should arrive within a week.

Very Satisfied

I purchased a 26" stuffed owl and I received the owl exactly as the website showed. I am very satisfied and so is my Godchild Avery. She absolutely loves it
