I see both Carol and Georgia to help with my rehabilitation following a brain injury. They work collaboratively to make sure that I achieve my goals in a safe and realistic way.
Although they have different training they are both person centred, creative, and encouraging of my ability to improve. My goals are reviewed regularly and the programme is changed to reflect my improvement. I am challenged in a way that is respectful and helping me to be the best I can.
In a relatively short time I have made real progress.
I highly recommend them both.

My wife and I highly recommend Berkshire Physiotherapy. With complex feet problems, she has been treated over the past year with experienced physiotherapy, kindness, and expertise that identified a contributing practical cause to her problems that had gone unnoticed. Treatment for non feet problems a couple of years earlier was similarly excellent, hence this practice being her first port of call now. Friendly welcome always by Reception. Excellent and professional service from John Matthews and all the staff at Berkshire Physiotherapy Centre. Friendly, inclusive and informative. When I told my knee consultant that I was using Berkshire Physiotherapy Centre, for my rehabilitation and further treatment, he commented that I would get a top-notch service, second to none in the region. I wouldn't go anywhere else.

I just wanted to say what great care I've received from your team over the last few months as we do battle with my hip/back pain. John, Jo and Georgia have been caring, professional and persistent in their treatments. This is particularly impressive from Georgia, who is new to the profession, but whose practice belies her youth. I do hope she is able to remain associated with Berkshire Physiotherapy in future. Your reception team have been welcoming too.

The team are really switched on to making you COVID secure as part of your treatment. The treatment itself has been superb through very personable interactions with swift identification of the underlying issue; and then through a combination of mobilisation treatment and prescribed exercises really accelerated my recovery.

I have been receiving treatment from this Physiotherapy centre for various joint problems (mainly back, neck and hip) for over 4 years, and have found it excellent. My treatment has been almost exclusively in the hands of the Director, Jim Adkins, and I have been very satisfied. He is clearly extremely knowledgeable and experienced and explains things well, and the exercises he has prescribed have been very effective. The supporting physiotherapy massage staff are all very competent, and pleasant to deal with, as are the reception desk team. The centre is very well equipped with therapeutic devices and a small gym. I am very happy to recommend Berkshire Physiotherapy.

I’ve been to various physios over the last 30+ years and none compare to the super professional, super friendly Berkshire Physiotherapy. Their attention to detail, latest treatment methods, ability to establish any underlying causes and work with you to understand and correct them so that you can protect yourself going forward, is second to none.
Even though I’m now in my 50’s, with their support and my increased understanding of how to look after and strengthen my body, I continue to play competitive tennis, ski, run half and full marathons as well as I did in my 30s-which is quite amazing!

Appointment set up via the phone and carried our via zoom. Really professional, relaxed and friendly. Helpful advice, clearly explained. Follow up call 3 days later to check on progress. Highly recommended!
