Low quality staff, low quality products. To summarise, After wearing the same model Brasher boots for decades, Berghaus took over and the first pair I bought have broken and caused me pain within a few months. Tried to reason with Berghaus and was told the best they could do would be glue a patch inside them. Avoid

Over the moon Berghaus’ Repairhaus was able to fix the zip on my 3 in 1 Gore Tex jacket. Jacket is as good as new and will be able to wear for a long time to come . Thank you so much !

I bought a pair of Berghaus supple leather dark brown colour a while ago
The boots used to be caller Brasher boots and I never had the slightest problem when Brasher boots and Berghaus took them over
The Berghaus design is extremely dangerous as the hooks with the lace can hook onto to other boots causing me to be unable to move and falling over , I am bloodied on my hands and knees and got a knock to my head .
I have written to Berghaus on their website and I received a reply saying they were unable able to help as the boots were too old , I bought them on Amazon and I have the proof of when
This has absolutely nothing to do with age this is down to dangerous design.
I am so upset as I am an older person and I can hardly walk now .

These boot are expensive and it never ever happened when the boots were called Brasher Boots , Berghaus took them over.
I have bought these boots every 2 years from 2000 .

Returned a Berghaus Hillwalker 3 in 1 Gortex jacket for a broken pocket zip repair.
Prompt efficient service.

I contacted Berghaus re a zip that had broken on my 15 year old jacket. Got an immediate response to return the jacket. I also added a note that if it was possible, that they replace the elastic cords. 6 weeks later got my jacket back as good as new. Just wanted to say Thankyou for an excellent service.

Bought a top of the range jacket about 15 years ago and through wear and tear the zip stopped working and the pop buttons didnt hold. I looked on line to see if i could get it repaired and saw the free service offered by Berghaus. I got on to them, they repaired it all free and returned it, I shall probably get another 10 years + Their service was fantastic, I sent it off just before Xmas and it was returned on Dec 24th!! What a Xmas treat.

A huge disappointment. After their first few weeks, they give up and now they only seem to aspire to being waterproof. The only way to keep dry feet is with waterproof socks.
Not the performance I would have expected from this brand

Returned my order on 2/12 using a label supplied by Berghaus. I have provided evidence of posting, the return has been acknowledged by Berghaus but they do not anticipate a refund being actioned until January. I have recently used several other retailers who manage to process returns from posting to refund within a week during sale events, why can’t Berghaus? Berghaus are unwilling to do anything until this time has lapsed because it is “in line with their terms and conditions”. Buyers should take into consideration how long the Berghaus return process is before ordering.

Worst customer service ever.
Won't even try to assist you with an issue, most unhelpful customer "support" I've ever come across.
I think the brand makes a lot of good quality gear, but I would not order from them again because of how badly the customer support represents the company. They evidently have no care for their customers.

Shocking customer service

Berghaus is probably one of my favourite brands. I trust them to do the right thing as there products are of the highest quality & you pay the premium price for them

The “chat-bot/adviser” Matthew essentially lied to me. Th website clearly stated “free-beanie” with this T shirt. While stocks last. That’s fine. State that they out of stock before I actually pay. I checked at each step - no mention that thy are out of stock. Also as soon as they are out of stock - TAKE THE OFFER DOWN

Matthew then lied to me. Said he checked the website - the offer didn’t exist. So I screenshot the offer and sent it him. Then said “out of stock”

I asked to escalate to a manager - managers “would say the same thing”

Honestly - so poor for the measly offer. Which I was about 13 quid away from the getting the free gloves offer, which I could have just done

Such a reputable company/brand. Lied, mis-lead and let down. All for the sake of a £10 beanie

My experience with Berghaus customer service and the repair team has been somewhat frustrating to say the least. Communication is not their strong point, finding myself having to repeat myself on a number of occasions and being repeatedly asked to submit the same information. Although ultimately, I did get my faulty shoes replaced (they accepted that shoes should last more than six months), it wasn’t without considerable effort on my part. The major problem with Berghaus is that whilst they do offer a repair guarantee, this is useless when it comes to their shoes since, firstly, they don’t manufacture them to be repairable (the soles can’t be replaced) and secondly, the guarantee excludes the sole, an intrinsic part of the shoe. Why make these shoes so poorly with substandard materials in the first place so that they are not durable? Shoes need to be fit for purpose, especially walking shoes, and this includes durability. Would I buy from Berghaus again, it’s unlikely that I will. I have low confidence in this brand unfortunately.

The zip on my Bergaus jacket refused to budge. Was searching for a local repair shop when I saw Repairhaus. Had completely forgotten the lifetime guarantee. Contacted them ... sent the jacket to them on Monday. It was returned, complete with new zip, on Thursday. Outstanding service :)

Really surprised at the negative reviews posted here. My experience has been first class. Did not know Berghaus were environmentally-conscious. Their Repairhaus service is a beacon for other companies to follow. My down jacket could well have ended up in the bin had I not investigated whether repair was possible. Sent my jacket off recorded delivery, four days later it was returned to me beautifully packaged and more importantly with a brand new zip. So impressed. Keep up the good work Berghaus.

I have tried on at least 7 occasions to unsubscribe from the Berghaus website. I’ve never ordered anything from them. Had to resort to online chat with ‘Daniel’ a week ago who told me I hadn’t given him the correct email address and I could have one more attempt before he ended the chat. I told him I could send him one of the dozens of emails to the address I’d given him ! I escalated it to a complaint and now awaiting response. Ironically I then receive an email from Daniel - to the email address he said was incorrect - asking for feedback!

I have now been asked for my account details as they can’t find them - I DO NOT HAVE AN ACCOUNT!!!YET THE EMAILS KEEP ON COMING!! BERGHAUS - SORT THIS OUT !!!!!

24/10 - yet another Berghaus promotional email. THIS IS HARRASSMENT!

I don’t have the time to catalogue the details of my dealings with berghaus customer support, but appalling does not come close to describing it.

AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS.

If you want their products do not buy from them direct would be my advice.

Couldn’t fault it! Had a broken zip on my Berghaus Gilet that is about 15 years old. Emailed them with photos, heard back the same afternoon, packaged it and sent it recorded delivery for just over £5. It was fixed the next day and back to me, properly boxed and as good as new a couple of days later. An amazing service that smacks of the good old days!

Nothing but praise for the speed and efficiency with which the zip of my elderly rucksack was replaced. It will last for another 20 years. Thank you for a great service, Repairhaus!

Repairhaus was amazing, I sent my damaged berghaus jacket back for repair and got my jacket back in a few days, great service

Used Repairhaus for a small tear in a Ben Arthur Goretex jacket. They replied straight away, case opened, item sent away, they repaired it within 48hrs and sent it back the next day. Jacket repaired and ready to wear. Brilliant service.
