Frank Higgins gives an excellent tour! Highly recommended!
Frank is professional and makes the tour so interesting! My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed his perspective and his knowledge base is outstanding. We learned a lot!
We were comfortable in the Mercedes van and he even uses a mic so we could hear his commentary clearly. We loved the stop at Morton’s fish & chips for lunch. Nothing fancy but where the locals go for a fresh delicious lunch!! We will definitely reach out to Frank should we ever return to Belfast!

Best Tour in Ireland
Francis was beyond fantastic. Can’t imagine a better tour guide, he personally lived through The Troubles which meant he gave an extremely detailed yet wholly unbiased account of Belfast’s history. A true expert on the city and it’s history and I can’t recommend him enough.

Best Tour I’ve been a part of
Most knowledgeable tour guide for any tour I’ve ever done. Brings his personal experience into everything you see to have a more personal touch and see how the troubles influenced Belfast. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for something to do in Belfast. Easily caters the tour to what you want to do as well.

Political tour.
Political tour.
My partner and i took the political tour of belfast after reccomendation by a friend and we was both truly blown away by the experience. My partner who has no interest or knowledge of the troubles, said it was amazing and francis had her hanging on his every word. His knowledge over the area, and personal involvement means you get a real feel for how belfast must of been. We got an unbiased view from both sides of the peace line, got to sign the wall and was taken to familier sights i had only seen on t.v before. It was our favourite experience of 5 fabulous days in belfast, and one i would urge everyone who comes to belfast to do. If you do then i advise you to use belfastlad tours, he was there, he lived it, and his memories and accounts of what really happened during the troubles will leave you wanting to learn more. Thank you francis. Mike & Alison.
