The best gluten free cake we have ever had, by a long stretch. The whole family loved it and they normally would not eat any of a gluten free cake. Will definitely be ordering our cakes from here in the future.

Sad to say Beardy Baker dropped the tray bake on this one. Order was paid for (weeks before) and arranged for delivery on the 6th August. Received no notification that order was on its way. Phoned up and told it was sent that day. Not what we asked for. Manager did his best though to ensure that our order was delivered by offering to drive the 90 minutes on the day we needed the traybakes (8th) which was in the end not necessary as the order arrived on the 7th, though sadly not in the best condition. That said, they tasted very good and went down very well at our wedding. Am I put off ordering again? No. But I didn’t need the hassle in the lead up to our special day.

Amazing banana bread

The cake was rich, chocolatey and delicious and our baker kindly helped us collect the cake from his house when we were held up in the traffic. Really good experience.

Great gift!

I ordered the wedding dessert table - the naked sponge cake with vanilla buttercream and strawberry jam was gorgeous and was still fresh after a week. The brownies were also a huge favourite and ‘disappeared’ so quickly!!
They were delivered and packaged as requested and promptly.
I will definitely use the Beardy Baker again and have already recommended them to friends. Thank you for adding to our celebration evening.

We required a birthday cake making at very short notice (within 48 hours).

I emailed the team late on Wednesday (around midnight) and, after receiving confirmation early on Thursday that they could have the cake ready in time, I submitted an online order that would be ready for collection on Friday afternoon.

The large Ferrero Rocher cake was phenomenal (not too creamy, not too spongy, perfect ganache) ... and just the right amount for 14 people.

Aaron and team really delivered. Hugely appreciated!!
