On the verge of ordering a shower…
On the verge of ordering a shower flipper screen at what appeared a good price... they then want me to pay £45 to deliver a £114 item!!!
UPDATE
After their somewhat curt response I feel my review is even more proportionate! I recently paid Wickes £5 to deliver far more, larger and heavier items! Indeed you did make the delivery charge clear and one I refuse to entertain, especially when its a curbside pallet delivery (to which I would no doubt be left with a pallet to dispose of... now that's DISPROPORTIONATE)

How you can know that it is not a like for like delivery is beyond me! Your delivery fee is only displayed once all address details are entered so NOT fully transparent!
As for the pallet I would have been left with you fail to address this point!
I would never use your company as I find your responses aggressive and your fees ridiculous!

Whilst we contunue to disagree I remain happy with a 1 star review based on delivery charges, curt and aggressive responses and your lack of respect. I am Mr Parkin, at no time did I agree to being addressed by my first name!!

We feel it is important to clarify the points raised in Mark’s latest update.
Our delivery charge is calculated based on the delivery address, which is why the address details are required before the applicable charge can be displayed. The £45 charge was clearly shown before an order was placed or any payment was taken, so we do not believe it is fair to describe this as non-transparent.
The comparison with a £5 Wickes delivery is also not like-for-like. Different retailers use different courier services and pricing structures, and our shower screens are transported using a pallet delivery service. The delivery charge reflects the cost of providing this service to the specified address, rather than being calculated as a percentage of the product price.
Regarding the pallet, the suggestion that the customer would “no doubt” be left with a pallet to dispose of is purely speculative. We cannot reasonably respond to what might have happened with a delivery that was never placed.
Most importantly, no order was placed with Bathroom Supastore and no £45 delivery charge was ever paid. This 1-star review is therefore based solely on the fact that Mark did not agree with the delivery price displayed before purchase.
We completely accept that he may choose not to purchase from us if he feels our delivery charge does not represent good value. However, we do not believe that disagreeing with a clearly displayed price warrants a 1-star review of our company, particularly when no order or delivery took place.

We acknowledge your final update and decision to leave a 1-star review. However, we stand by our previous responses and the information provided.
To clarify once again, the £45 delivery charge was clearly displayed during the checkout process before any order was placed or payment was taken. You chose not to proceed with the purchase because you did not consider the delivery charge acceptable.
We accept that you are entitled to consider our delivery charge too expensive and to choose not to purchase from us. What we cannot agree with is the suggestion that this constitutes poor service, particularly when no order was placed, no payment was taken and no delivery service was provided to you.
We would also note that your Trustpilot profile currently contains 48 reviews, majority rated 1 star. We appreciate that customers are entitled to their own opinions, but this wider review history is perhaps relevant context when considering the nature of this particular review.
We have responded to your concerns openly and explained how our delivery charges work. We therefore have nothing further to add on this matter.

Damaged delivery
Delivery arrived smashed not bathroomsupastores fault carrier issues but they sorted it out straight away and sent another one the following week only annoying thing I have to get rid of a full shower enclosure as it’s too expensive to return not sure that should be my problem! Overall a good service

Very disappointed with coral offset…
Very disappointed with coral offset shower enclosure.
The installation instructions are unclear and misleading. Nowhere do they state that the shower tray should be sealed to the wall before installing the enclosure. In fact, the diagrams show all silicone being applied after the enclosure has been installed, including around the tray itself.
There is also a gap left behind the vertical wall profile where it meets the tiles. This area is not addressed in the instructions and is not shown as requiring sealing. As a result, water can enter behind the profile, travel behind the tiles, and cause leaks and potential water damage.
In addition, water is entering between the glass and the aluminium profiles, travelling inside the frame and leaking out from the external corners of the enclosure.
For a product of this price and reputation, I expected much better design and installation guidance. The poor instructions and water leakage issues have made this a very frustrating experience.

We are sorry to hear of the difficulties you have experienced with your shower enclosure.
However, we would like to clarify that our customer service team has been actively assisting with this matter since your initial contact on 29th May. We responded on the same day with guidance based on the manufacturer's installation instructions and requested photographs so that we could investigate the issue further.
Following our request on 29th May, photographs were not provided until 2nd June. During this time, we continued to offer assistance and requested further information so that we could properly assess the issue. The review was then posted shortly after the images were received, before our team had been given a reasonable opportunity to complete its investigation and provide a full response.
Having now reviewed the images supplied, the installation does not appear to have been completed in accordance with the manufacturer's installation guidance. Based on the information currently available, the evidence does not indicate a fault with the enclosure itself.
We appreciate that this has been a frustrating experience and remain committed to helping resolve the issue. Our team is continuing to review the information provided and is available to offer further guidance and support.

Bathroom superstore were great very helpful knew what I wanted what let the whole thing down was palletways yet again delivered product on my neighbours drive my Plummer signed for product which didn’t total to about 5 pounds in weight refused to take pallet away hence luckily had a Plummer on hand as niether myself or my neighbour couldn’t move

We’re sorry to hear that there were further issues with the delivery itself. Unfortunately, we do feel this is more reflective of the courier service provided by Palletways rather than the service we aim to deliver as a company.
We’re particularly disappointed to hear the pallet was delivered to a neighbouring property and signed for incorrectly, as this should not have happened.
Due to the size and weight of many of our products, we do make customers aware on both our website and order confirmation emails that we strongly recommend having two people available at the property to assist where required. However, we completely understand the frustration caused here, especially with the pallet being left in a difficult position to move safely.
We appreciate you bringing this to our attention and will continue raising these issues with our delivery partners to help improve the service provided.
