On their website they claim 2-5 day delivery and next day shipping. That is very not true one bit. I ordered my products Monday and it is now Friday and just my label has been created. I reached out to customer service and they said I should receive the product at the end of next week which is a 2 week delivery even when I live in the US

Great overall with both delivering and quality
I bought 2 bundles of the shampoo and conditioner and a hair clay, so far i haven't had any problems and has fulfilled my expectations like i thought. The products aren't magic, or 10x better than others, but when you look at the overall quality, performance and price they definitely beat their competition. The hair shower bundle works great on showering 2x a week and makes your hair feel smooth because of the conditioner, but still having volume after which i have never experienced before. The hair clay also worked great, but because of the temperature the clay is extremely hard to get out, which is the only negative i see, heard it from others as well that it is normal, and i can still get the right amount out and applied.
The delivery was faster than it said on the tracking app (shop). I know it may very if they got the products in stock or not, but that shocked me because it was shipped all the way from the US to Norway in such a short time.
Great work from Based, will continue to support the business!

I honestly can’t say enough good things about Based Bodyworks. I picked up the Complete Curly Kit, the Santal Bodycare Essentials, the Complete Care Kit, and the Skin Revival Spray—and every single product blew my expectations out of the water.
Before using the curly line, my hair was dealing with serious dryness and frizz. After switching to this routine, the difference was night and day. My curls are completely transformed: super defined, hydrated, shiny, and healthier than they’ve ever been.
The biggest surprise for me, though, was the skincare line. My skin cleared up fast, and the combination of the moisturizer and the Skin Revival Spray gives my face a smooth, healthy glow without feeling greasy or heavy. On top of all that, the Santal scent line smells incredible and lasts.

It’s been 10 days and I didn’t receive any information about my order. No shipping at all. I’m very disappointed. This is the worst online personal care ever!

The based team went out of their way to assist me with a mistake I had made during an order. I thought I put a product in my order that I didnt... when I had finally noticed my error (a few days later) due to my shipment not having left the wharehouse yet, they allowed me to add it to the order. I was sent an invoice with the amount owing, it was really easy and convenient to pay right from the email/invoice... and they confirmed with me that they would add it in.. this way I didn't have to do a whole new 2nd order which would mean paying a 2nd shipping fee on top of the first shipping fee (international). They were super friendly, helpful and replied to my emails in a timely manner. I'm also very impressed with the price points of the products.

It’s been a week and I didn’t receive any information about the package. I’m very disappointed. And they told me I ordered just the shampoo + leave in conditioner , curl mouse and pomade but on Shop and email for order confirmation it said I pay for the shampoo, conditioner, leave in conditioner, curl mouse and pomade. Order number #1456370.

I have pesonally not yet bought from them but I would like to personally report this as an issue for them to check out. I was about to order from them and according to the FAQ's of Based i sates that spend 100$ or more and you have unlocked free international shipping. My order comes out 122,70 euros and I mind you euros which is around 139.62$ which is well over a 100$. However I still have to pay for shipping. I do understand that there is tax and duty. The tax equates to 26.08 euros and Duties equate to 12.01 euros and shipping equates to 15,00 euros. Simple maths would say if I had free shipping my end price would stand at 160.79 euros. I am not sure if this is a glitch or a bug or something, but I would highly advise Based to fix this as soon as possible, this can be seen as false advertising.

Shipping is disappointing. Best bet is ordering from tik tok shop

Based shipping times have Gotten so much better I live in the uk and it only took under a week to come!

Have upgraded my rating to 3 stars as this should never have happened in the first place, but good to know Ryan managed the situation and restored my faith a little!

Based - what a let down and did not deliver in the 3-5 days to a USA address!
When confronted was advise some items were not in stock, but no notification of this and advised them unless the order could be for this Sunday 26th, then I would have to cancel…
Their customer service is shocking and they keep using excuses but honestly have a care free attitude and would never use them again and would advise anyone else to think twice before ordering anything, I think their slip in ratings is proof enough standards are slipping and they need to have a major rethink on how to deal with customers!

I got the deodorant and the curl mousse. The curl mousse works great but took a long time to come. The deodorant took much longer to come even though I ordered them at the same time and it smells awful (I got the bergamot and vanilla). I also got a free gift which is the toiletries bag and that reeked of a rotting fish smell. Most of your guys products work great you just need to work on shipping times

I bought sea salt spray, texture powder, clay, and pomade. It smells good and most work pretty good but my problem is with the clay. It might of been just mine because watching other videos the based clay is smooth and easy to scoop. Mine is not, it is really stiff and when i tru to scoop a little out it comes out chunky and flakey instead ofof smooth and in one peice. Its a little similar with my pomade it’s a little flakey but it’s still good. Let me make it clear that i did not leave it out with the cap off it came to me like this. The clay still works but it feels like it’s harder to apply when it’s like that because spreading around is difficult. Is this normal? Please help me.

I originally had an issue with my order, but I want to update my review because BASED handled the situation very well.

Within just 2 hours of contacting their support, they responded, explained the situation, and provided a fair solution. My concerns were taken seriously, and the customer service was professional and helpful throughout the process.

Mistakes can happen, but what really matters is how a company resolves them. BASED resolved my issue quickly, and I’m very satisfied with the outcome.

Been using them since late 2024 and couldn’t go back to the old products they give similar results if not better than the other curly hair products in store and knowing that it’s not going to damage my health in anyway is good to know

I've been using Based for the last year, and I just wanted to leave a review.
In my experience, based has always delivered within their predicted time frame every time I've shopped from them, which is about 5 times now.
I cannot recommend a product more than based Bodyworks' products, they saved my hair and my confidence. If you are struggling with your hair, I recommend giving Based a try; their products really work. My last Purchase was their skincare Duo, and since my skin has never looked better. Before that, their hair clay and salt spray, which has really helped give my hair volume and keep it through the day, which I've struggled with previously.
