There are so many irregulates in this company, along with poor professionalism and lack of integrity. I will never recommend it to any of my friends and family.

Their good agents keep leaving the company, there are wrong promises made, and wrong figures given in the cash- flow analysis to attract the customers. The performance is very poor, and the company is insensitive to complaints. I paid £5000 to this company for reservation of a flat in Newark in January 2025, later finding that there were several discrepancies in their cash- flow analysis, and the promises made. The mortgage adviser recommended by them was unprofessional, and even after a year and half, I am still struggling to find a solution or getting my reservation fee back ( as promised in the beginning) . The staff have unprofessional attitude , practices and undermining behaviour.

The higher management seems to have no empathy or accountability towards the customers, and the whole theme seems to be towards their monetary gains.

After exhausting every resource to contact the higher management, I ultimately left a Trustpilot review in May 2026. This rang the right bells, and I was called just after a few days by the company's operational director, showing a great sympathy to my problems. He reassured me that he will look into the things and get my money back from the builders, and send me his reply through email and Whatsapp within a few days. In return, he requested me to take the review off from Trustpilot, as advised by his chairman and the owner of the company. They were worried that their review rating shall go down from 4.3 ( at that time). Trusting on his words, I took the review off. Sadly I was again in a trap. I had no further updates or even a contact from him. I tried to ring and send a message to him on Whatsapp, had no answers. He never sent me his email id as promised in the call.

Am I dealing with a posh, identity conscious property management company which has got no ethics, and they feel the whole world can be fooled?

It was a massive disappointment to engage with this company and I have not only wasted £5000 but also a valuable chunk of my time, and emotional state dealing with them.

I tried to make a claim on property ombudsman. But again, unfortunately, this company, based in Dubai, has nothing to show up on the list of Ombudsman.

So, my advice would be to stay away from Baron & Cabot, as in case something gees wrong, you wont be able to even make a claim against them. There are lots of other UK based property management companies, who may not look as posh, but they are far more worth spending your hard earned money with.

The sales rep followed up consistently until transaction closed. He was very professional and provided support where required.

Being a first timer Leah, Judy and Nikunji put me through the process of purchasing property abroad. I must admit they were quite professional and reassuring as they put me through the processes.
I would have given them the 5 stars but that would mean perfect. Let me keep the one star .

Easy to work with and what is usually a complex process was made easy through the great work of Judy Maina and Tom Hepworth. Both are really on the ball and know how to deal with people. Would highly recommend these two and the company to anyone wanting to buy property whether in or outside of the uk.

However, it would be nice if your solicitors gave a more transparent breakdown of true costs at the start of the process. Lack of adequate information distorted clarify and preparedness on my part.

I met Baron and Cabot through Zayn Mahmoud and I was very impressed with his knowledge and ability to navigate me through the process, being my first attempt at buying a UK property.

We had an extremely disappointing experience with Baron & Cabot. From the outset, we were misled by inaccurate information and a lack of clear understanding on their part, which ultimately left us significantly out of pocket. My wife wrote a review to express our concerns, after which the company promptly contacted us in an apparent attempt to resolve the issue.

They engaged in lengthy discussions with my wife and, during the conversation, asked her to remove the negative review — a request she rightly declined. Following her refusal, they completely ceased communication with us — this was while we were still in the middle of the process, trying to navigate the complexities of completion. We were left without support during a critical stage. Now that the process is finished, we still have not heard from them.

This has only deepened our frustration and disappointment. It’s clear that their willingness to help extends only as far as it benefits them. We feel completely let down by their lack of professionalism and accountability. Based on our experience, we strongly advise others to stay away from this company.

Through Baron & Cabot, I was able to navigate the confusing maze of information to secure Buy 2 Let properties that will provide steady income from rental yields as well as capital appreciation overtime. Thomas Hepworth was and remains amazing in his honest guidance throughout the process.
