Had purchased dining chairs from Baro and overall the build quality and comfort was great. Designed the chairs as per the samples shown and using premium materials.
However the process could have been more smoother with timely communications. Gaps in communication and overall delay in product delivery could have been improved.

Our search for living-room furniture went on for almost three years.

Living in a Bombay flat, space is always at a premium. Add a four-year-old running around, and our requirements became very clear — furniture that is livable, easy to maintain, thoughtfully designed, with clean yet soft lines, high quality, and most importantly, furniture that invites people to sit together, talk for hours, lounge, stretch, and truly live.

We tried everything — from local furniture markets to high-end stores — but something always felt amiss.

Then we came across Baro Design, and something immediately clicked.

I reached out to Siddharth Sirohi, who invited us to his studio. The moment we stepped in, we knew we had found our place. What followed were some of the most thoughtful, real, and reassuring conversations we’ve had while setting up our home. Siddharth has an incredible ability to truly listen — to understand not just what you want, but how you live.

With our very limited space, he made recommendations that were deeply intentional and explained the reasoning behind each one. It gave us the confidence to trust him — even when we were unsure ourselves.

And when the furniture finally arrived, everything made sense.

Every single day since, the furniture has sparked joy. Our living room feels more spacious, more open, and infinitely more welcoming. The comfort is unparalleled — Siddharth suggested cotton seating, with beautiful gaddas and mattresses, because we told him we wanted to sit together comfortably for hours, talking and spending time. That’s exactly what we got.

One of the pieces we were most unsure about — a round table for the living room — has now become our favourite spot in the house. Placed where the light pours in, overlooking the Aarey Forest, it’s where breakfast happens, where calls are taken, where conversations unfold. For the first time, we are truly using and enjoying that view.

When guests come over, the space feels warmer and more intimate. People sit closer, conversations flow more easily, and everything feels beautifully connected. Siddharth once said that tables have a way of bringing people closer — and we understand that now, completely.

What’s even more special is that neighbours in the same complex — with the same apartment size — have walked in and asked if we’re sure we have the same layout, because despite having so much seating, our home looks so open and spacious.

And when your parents compliment your furniture, you know you’ve made the right investment.

We are deeply grateful that we found Baro Design, and that we met Siddharth. Every interaction with him felt like equal parts design discussion and gentle counselling — calm, thoughtful, and reassuring.

We go about 25 pieces done, and the experience was smooth, collaborative, and peaceful the whole way. And that was just the process; the pieces themselves are like works of art!

Fabulous designs and excellent carpentry work makes Baros furniture unique. Their designs are made for comfort and do not confine themselves to traditional definitions of furniture. Despite this the designs look traditional and old school.

I Got Scammed
I got scammed by Baro. I ordered items thinking they were J C Penny on Facebook. I never recieved my orders. I called J C Penny and they told me I was scammed.

The design and the finishing of the pieces of furniture from Baro Design are outstanding. They alone bring this little something difficult to explain that instantly uplift the decoration of a room. Once in use their furnitures also show how well thought, practical and comfortable they are. I highly recommend!
