I called to enquire about my dad's dog Alfie and they were kind, caring and considerate of our emotions. I took Alfie within a couple of hours to be met by a wonderful lady who made me feel there was no rush and I had all the time in the world. I was advised Alfie would be back with me the following day and he was. They care which was more than we recieved from petsathome who were appalling. I would 100% refer Barnshaw. Lovely card, beautiful words which broke us. Thank you so much x

we had the horrible task of having to cremate our beautiful baby girl suzi at 15 due to her being hit by a car and left for dead.
we found barnshaw on Google and contacted. right from the start chris and di were compassionate, professional and such nice people. dropped suzi off today and she was treated with the utmost respect.
got her back a few hours later with a beautiful casket,paw print,and sympathy card.
if you have the unenviable task of saying goodbye to your loved ones,i highly recommend these guys.

We lost my cat suddenly when he was hit and killed by a car and we took him to Barnshaw. We were incredibly upset but Chris at Barnshaw was very kind and compassionate and handled the whole process with the utmost respect and care. It felt like they genuinely care about your pet and the thought and consideration that goes into the whole process is very touching and comforting.

I cannot recommend Barnshaw highly enough. Di and Chris treated Ozzy as if he was their own, with love and respect, the paw print is such a nice touch.
More people should be aware of them.
They made a very sad time go smoothly.

Chris and Di were amazing throughout the whole experience after our cat had been run over and killed. They were excellent at communicating and were super efficient. I wish more companies had their ethos. The paw print memory was a very thoughtful touch.

Would highly recommend these lovely people. The service is second to none first class from start to finish. They understand your grief and show greatest respect for both your pet and you. It is clear they love animals and do everything they can to make your very difficult time as comfortable as they can. There finishing touches are something to remember and will stay with us for a long time.

At such a sad time Chris and Diane are a gem at the end of the rainbow bridge for the passing of our furry friend Toto.
Such thoughtful gestures and kindness, they made Toto's passing more bearable and having her back so quickly gave us such comfort.

I cannot recommend Barnshaw Pet Crem highly enough from the moment I called the professionalism and care extended to us was fantastic. Our dog Woody died on Sunday unexpectedly and from our call we immediately selected Barnshaw and took him there later that day. The care taken with him on his final journey was beyond reproach and when we picked up his ashes the same care was again extended to us. Thanks again Barnshaw the Wyborn family.

Absolutely wonderful service by two very caring people.
Di an Chris came to our home to collect our boy Jasper the afternoon after we lost him, just as we asked.
They showed enormous sympathy and understanding and handled Jasper with great respect.

Very caring attitude, prompt and efficient service a lot of empathy. Our beloved Meena passed away in the early hours of the 28th of December we contacted Di at Barnshaw and arranged to take Meena over to them on the morning of the 29th we were met by Chris who helped lift her out of the car and place her on a trolly with utmost care in a very dignified and sensitive manner. We were assured Meena would be dealt with that afternoon and we would be able to collect the ashes on the 29th if we so wished. Everything was as promised , I would strongly recommend their service to anyone who has lost a dear and beloved companion

Unfortunately our nearly 18 year old cat had passed away in her sleep, for any cat lovers this was very distressing time for us. We contacted Barnshaw Pet Crematorium the next morning and within 20 minutes our cat was collected for her final journey. Owners were very sympathetic and kept in contact with us, she was cremated the same day and we collected her ashes day after. It would be hard to find a better service by such lovely people. We would highly recommend their services.

I would highly recommend Barnshaw Pet Crematorium for anybody who is looking for people with empathy to handle their beloved pets in a respectful way. What I really like about Chris and Di (there are no other staff, just a husband and wife team) is that they are animal people. They have ponies, sheep, chickens and four dogs. So they understand how people coming to them will be feeling.
It feels like a very personal service. We were given our old girl's ashes and paw print in a bag with a heart label with her name on.
I would highly recommend as it is also such a lovely setting.

They took so much care of Sasha my 13yo Jack Russell and kept me informed all the way.
She was collected within 1 day and some of her ashes sprinkled at one of her favourite places within 24 hours.
Chris and Di are really, really nice people who as pet owners themselves, are fully attuned to dealing with the loss of your much loved fur baby.
I cannot praise them highly enough.

I would like to express my gratitude to Chris for his bespoke service. It was a huge shock for all our family to say goodbye to our much beloved elderly cat. Chris at Barnshaw was unbelievably emphatic which made this unbearable journey a little bit easier. The care we received was very much appreciated.

We as a family honestly can’t thank the amazing couple that own this business, I couldn’t have wished for a more dignified and comforting last journey for our darling pooch. We felt so completely at ease and comfortable sending her with these lovely people.

Our handsome boy Gizmo had been part of our family for 9 years. Gizmo bought lots of joy and love to our lives, we have lots of fond memories, he was a character who loved to bring presents into us in the middle of the night.

We contacted Chris by phone to find out, so more information and he was so caring and helpful regarding our needs. When we took Gizmo to Barnshaw we knew that he would be in safe hands, Chris was very kind and caring and handled Gizmo so gently, we were asked if we wanted Gizmo cremated with his favorite blankets which we did, Chris even let us put Gizmo’s favorite cat toy with him and even lifted up his paws so I could place it between them. We were given the chance to say one goodbye to Gizmo with strokes and a kiss. Chris reassuring us that he would look after Gizmo.

Chris text us confirming the cremation had taken place and we collected Gizmo the next day where we met Di. Gizmo’s ashes were safely tucked into a bamboo pouch with a little blue bow round it. Thank you for the extra’s a beautiful, engraved heart with a bow and a card.

Thank you to Chris and Di in our hour of need, you showed us so much compassion. You are both very caring and kind in our time of need. We would thoroughly recommend your services. Sam and Brian
