We knew our precious Zena wouldn’t be with us much longer so contacted these incredible people. Explained all that we’d like and when the inevitable happened they picked her up with her favourite blankie and racooooooon, her favourite toy. So kind, compassionate, efficient, thoughtful & respectful. Zena was back home the same day. Life will never ever be the same but we were blessed to have her in our lives and to have such a great service and support from Di & Chris - thank you doesn’t express the gratitude we feel. Xx🐾

Chris treated my beloved dog Flo with the utmost respect and care. He was patient and kind, taking his time with us during a very difficult time. The casket we chose was beautifully engraved, and packaged with care and attention when returned to us. Barnshaw exceeded my expectations.

Chris and Di looked after our cat, Merlin, after he passed away. Chris scanned his paw print for us and Di emailed it to us. His ashes were ready for collection within 24 hours and were contained in a lovely wooden box with his name engraved on the top. They even engraved a heart token with his name which we found really touching. Their efficient service made a very sad time a little bit easier.

I would HIGHLY recommend Barnshaw Pet Crematorium, wish I knew about them sooner. I have had numerous pets cremated via my vets and it was such an impersonal, rushed & expensive experience.
Chris and Diane are both very professional, friendly & caring towards the needs. They understand that our pets become part of our family; this is shown in how your spoken too, the care & treatment. You aren’t rushed or hurried along. A very pleasant experience booking cremation drop off & collection.

When we contacted Branshaw at 5 am, Chris was really helpful and accommodated us that very early in the morning. Their surroundings was really peaceful for my beloved Tinku as a last resting place and I am thankful that we found Barnshaw. Loved their extra effort of care - wooden heart shaped with my pet name engraved on it and their condolence msg.

Compassion, Professional attitude, Although my little Edith was cremated on 16th, May 2024 I have only now opened the box that was securely delivered to me. The raffia casket envelope was beautifully presented so much so I am hesitating about placing it in the earth. Thank you for making a sad occasion easier for me.

We sadly had to have a beautiful dog put to sleep and were devastated. Diane helped so much with her understanding and gentle approach to taking care of us and our dog. It helped enormously during an extremely difficult time. Thank you so much x

When we sadly lost our beloved Golden Retriever Chester one evening. We contacted Barnshaws around 6am the next morning, Chris was very helpful, understanding and sympathetic. He was very accommodating and made space available for an individual cremation around 2 hours later as we had an hours drive. On arrival Chris was very kind and discussed and understood our needs. We brought Chester home around 3 hours later and can highly recommend Chris and Barnshaws in general for making a difficult time a bit easier.

Tbh, I thought I might meet some resistance when I tried to arrange for my much loved 39 year old boa constrictor to be cremated & I didn't really expect much beyond practicalities, but thankfully Barnshaw proved me 100% wrong. From the very first tentative phone call, I knew I'd found the right place. The kindness and total respect and complete understanding of the love I had for a daft old snake helped so much to take away some of the pain. And their pricing is really competitive too!! Cannot recommend highly enough

Very professional and caring. During the night our family pet Gizmo passed away. After a few tears, I thought WHAT THE HELL AM I GOING TO DO WITH HIM, AND IT'S EASTER SUNDAY! After a quick call to Barnshaw Pet Crematorium, the day started to seem abit better. They are very professional and caring. They offered to collect him but we wanted to drop him off and a few hours later he is back home with us. Thank you Barnshaw Pet Crematorium.

We lost our beloved Jack. The drive to to Barnshaw was so painful but Diane was so kind and understanding and we got Jack cremated and returned to us within a day.

I, sadly, recently lost my beloved Tommy to cancer and the support from Chris & Di has been incredible. Their service was impeccable, collecting my poor boy within 30 mins of him passing from my vet and arranging everything for me so I could collect his casket that same evening. I cannot commend them enough for the support at such a difficult time and I thoroughly recommend their service to anyone who has lost their beloved companions. Thank you Chris and Di.
