Would highly recommend the puppy course! Rizzo had the best time ever and absolutely loved the trainer Abbie, who was incredible throughout and was so helpful with all the advice and tips she offered.

The puppy behaviour course with Abbie was so fun! My and my pup learned all the basics along with some fun tricks 🐾

I would recommend this course to anyone training their puppy - the staff are very friendly and instructions were easy to follow

Excellent puppy course. My pup joined with only one command in his arsenal- sit! He graduated knowing lots more! The staff are brilliant and offered invaluable advice if we had a problem. Pups are treated so well - mine didn’t want to go home!

We attended the Mantrailing introduction with our vizsla puppy, Gee and Jack were very professional and helpful. They took the time to explain to us what our pup was thinking and processing at each point. Everything was force free and positive reinforcement based, this made for a relaxed, comfortable and enjoyable experience.
It was very enjoyable for our girl but also great learning for us too. We will be back 😀

We recently completed the Puppy Behavior Course with our Staffy puppy who was 12 weeks old when we started. We would definitely recommend Barkley Dog Training Academy.
Abbie was extremely knowledgeable and made the whole experience very enjoyable. We’re now looking forward to practicing everything we learned.

Great puppy behaviour classes! As first time dog owners it was useful to learn how to teach the basics, and have some dedicated time each week to work on them around other puppies

We couldn’t recommend Barkley’s highly enough! We completed the Reactive to Relaxed course with our rescue dog, Maisie, who had started to become reactive towards other dogs. The transformation in just six weeks has been incredible.

Both Gee and Abbie were fantastic throughout the course—knowledgeable, supportive, and always on hand to offer guidance and encouragement. The training has made such a positive difference to both Maisie’s confidence and our own.

We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Barkley’s to anyone looking for professional, effective, and compassionate dog training, and we can’t wait to sign up for our next course! 🐾

Recently took part in the Anything is PAWsible course. I wasn’t sure that I could ‘teach’ Teddy anything as let’s just say he’s one of a kind! Abbie explained what we needed to do at each step to achieve the outcome, using praise and rewards to encourage him and shock horror we actually achieved! The way the course is delivered is perfect, she broke it down into different steps and gave the time needed to practice what we were learning. Can’t recommend courses with Barkleys Dog Training enough, always benefit from their experience and guidance.

Myself and my puppy Maple recently joined the May puppy classes, and they were absolutely amazing. Abbie, who led the sessions, was incredibly knowledgeable, supportive, and brilliant throughout. Not only were the classes fantastic, but Abbie was also so helpful with advice and support outside of the sessions too.

Barkley and Co have been amazing as well — as we missed the final session, they kindly allowed us to join the last session of the June class so Maple doesn’t miss out on anything.

Took my Teckel to the intro mantrailing session last weekend and honestly wasn't sure what to expect but he absolutely loved it. Georgina was brilliant, really clear with instructions, relaxed, and obviously knows her stuff inside out. Loved that it's all reward and praise based, my pup was into it from the start, which says a lot. Would definitely recommend, especially if you've got a dog that needs something a bit different to switch them on

A massive thank you to Abbie, we just completed puppy progression course with our dachshund Penny. Abbie was amazing she was very patient and helpful with extra ideas when we didn't understand something or penny wouldnt respond how we wanted. The training was set in a very safe surrounding and we were greeted on arrival by other members of staff who were also very friendly. Everyone did everything they could to make us feel welcomed and comfortable. I would definitely reccomend here the staff and trainers are amazing at what they do!

We completed our first trailing induction session with Barkleys - Georgina (and her Son Jack) were amazing on the day and to watch as our puppy progressed through the trailing session was amazing....I have been to several classes through Alfies puppy life and intend to continue going back for more. Our Alfie - really has come on leaps and bounds. and myself I know so much more about dogs...

Our lives with an incredibly excitable 8 month old Labrador puppy have been made much easier through every interaction we’ve had with the team at Barkleys. We very much appreciate their force free approach and have learned lots of strategies to use at home.
We attended puppy classes with Kris where we never felt embarrassed by having the biggest, bounciest dog in the room, and really appreciated Kris knowing when to pop over and offer suggestions to try and keep Cosmo focused - some of which we now use several times a day!
We also booked a 1:1 with Kris to work on Cosmo getting over excited and jumping and mouthing on walks, he introduced some scent training games and explained how useful they are and how we can use Cos’ amazing sniffer nose to keep his brain engaged.
Today we attended the mantrailing progression course with Gee and Jack, who also ran the introduction session we attended and again both sessions have been fabulous! Adjustments to the activities were made for each dog to succeed, and it’s amazing to see Cosmo in his element when it’s his turn to trail.
He’s very strong and fast and I had been a bit unsure about taking a turn as the handler up until the last session today, but knowing the team would have control of the situation if I got it wrong gave me the confidence to let my husband have a rest and let me chase Cosmo as he did his work and found Jack (one of his favourite humans ever).
We reached out for advice on booking another 1:1 after Cosmo was recovering from being ill, and boredom had set back his self control and Abbie was incredibly kind and understanding, as well as rearranging a workshop session we couldn’t make when he was unwell. He very much enjoyed attending Bite Size fun with Abbie who again was patient and understanding about his over excitement.
We’re incredibly grateful for all Barkley’s input into Cosmo’s training so far, and are looking forward to attending lots more sessions in the future 💕 Vikkie, Dan & Cosmo

Completed the Gold Scent Course with Gee and it was brilliant. Our dog Remy has thoroughly enjoyed it and he exceeded all of our expectations. We love having things to focus on and we are extremely proud of Remy’s achievements. Thank you so much Gee

We have just completed the behaviour progression classes with our 8 month springer spaniel. Abbie was amazing at teaching us lots of new things and giving lots of advice, she was so knowledgeable. The classes were really enjoyable. Would definitely recommend and we will be back 🐶🐾

Took our pup Tilly to puppy behaviour class for 4 weeks in March. The first week we got a welcome pack, Tilly was very impressed with the treats in it 🤣 Every week we were sent a message covering what we had done so we could practice at home, the classes cover the basics with Abbie on hand to help with any queries. I thoroughly enjoyed them and Tilly has come on in leaps and bounds!

I honestly can't put into words how good the Puppy Behaviour course was. One the first session we were treated to a lovely little pack with treats and a treat bag. The training across the 4 weeks was amazing and the staff were super friendly. My little pup Rusty has come on leaps and bounds. I jave now enrolled him onto the Behaviour Progression Course. At the end of the 4 weeks, he got a graduation photo, certificate and neckerchief. Super cute! Thank you!

I attended the Introduction to Mantrailing session over the weekend and I cannot recommend it enough! The session is excellent value for money and the staff are well trained and extremely knowledgable. They were able to support my learning and explain everything really well and in a way that I could understand. Everyone attending, both dogs and people, were having so much fun and were all succeeding in finding the hider. Both me and my dog had the best time, and we will definitely be returning for more sessions.

I took my dog Penny to the Puppy Behaviour Course and we absolutely loved it. Barkleys Training use positive only reward based training which was perfect for Penny. The trainers come round to check on you after explaining the behaviour to make sure everyone is getting on okay and there is also a WhatsApp group with all the class and the trainers so we can ask any questions outside of the class. We felt supported by the team and Penny had so much fun 😁
