I love my purse and had so much fun putting it together! I am just about finished. Two of the straps were slightly off color but Babylon sent me a new set right away. They match perfectly and were a pleasure to deal with. I will definitely buy another kit in the future!’

I recently finished a Kelly style 28 and it came out great! I’m a complete novice at leathercraft, but I found the kit super easy to use. It made for a great craft to work on after work—I actually looked forward to it every day! The materials are also really high quality from what I can tell, and I’ve gotten nothing but compliments on it so far. Everyone thinks it’s really cool that I sewed it myself, and I agree!

Not only does Babylon Leather have great products, but their customer service is unparalleled. I have questions, they have answers. I have issues, they have solutions. I send emails, they respond - quickly! I have not, if ever, dealt with such a great company stands behind their products and really cares about their customers. A great business model!

What a great company. They have a large selection of DYI kits. They have designs for every taste. The best is when you make it and give it as a gift.
The leather is excellent and each kit comes with everything you need to complete your bag. Customer service is extremely responsive. All is all a great experience. I look forward to making many more!!

I bought several kits from Babylon and they all arrived quickly, well packaged, and as advertised. All items were true to color, and assembly was easy to complete. They provided multiple ways to access the instructions, and everything except for a flame was provided (for obvious reasons). I was having a bit of trouble with utilizing the referral link in the beginning, but they were very responsive with assisting. Overall, it was a great experience, a great product, and I will be ordering again!

I have been using Babylon Leather now for several months and have made some absolutely lovely handbags which I adore and get lots of compliments on! Their shipping is quick, the quality of the leather and accompanying implements is excellent, and the instructions are fairly easy to follow… This is my new guilty pleasure! I highly recommend this company for the quality of their goods and customer service. Their packaging is amazing too…they never fail to add in a few fun little freebies, including the new addition of a dust bag!

I love the kits from Babylon Leather, each piece is perfectly cut out and the holes on every bit line up exactly to enable an easy sew. All of the equipment you need is included so it really is a one stop shop. I have said if you can sew a button hole then you can make a Babylon bag.

I received my item from Babylon Leather on February 10th 2026. I immediately knew I wanted to return it because the color of the leather was not as pictured in the ad. It was a most unattractive color in my opinion, reminiscent of baby poo. I wrote to the company the day I received it asking for directions on how to return the item and have been getting the run-around since. They keep offering me percentage refunds ( first 10%, then 35%) to keep the item. They won’t tell me the address to return the item, saying they are researching where to return it to. They even asked me to research shipping costs to “China” - no address provided. Buyer beware in dealing with this company. It is February 17th 2026; and I am still getting the runaround and am researching my next steps.
Addendum:
As of 2/18/26, I am pleased to write that the company has made my situation right in a very nice way, including an apology and a refund. In addition, they have said that their refund policy would be made clearer to avoid confusion or frustration going forward.

Love love love the Babylon Leather experience. The video provides information that is easy to follow. Customer service is above and beyond great. I enjoyed making the Picotin bag so much - the entire process was relaxing, fun, enjoyable. The finished bag is perfect -I love it!

Wow! This film is fabulous! It should have been the Academy Award wiiner for best film, best actor, and best actress of 2022 It chronicles the history of filmmaking in Hollywood and is superb in detail of all the scandals and snubs of all the beautiful people with immense talent and creativity.

I like this company, they offer raw materials as well as kits with video instructions. The kits are fully complete with more than enough material to make the item and the videos are clear enough to follow and complete the kits. The company is also very responsive and communicative. I asked a couple of follow-up questions and they responded very quickly! Shipping is fine in regards to time and packing/packaging. I am in the US and the kits typically took a couple of weeks to receive - that's fast considering the distance they are traveling! I have bought three kits so far with family wanting me to make more. Their kits allow me to build my confidence to try advanced techniques and advanced items. Greatly appreciate the concept and the company. Will continue to buy from again and again.

Babylon Leather has stellar products and top notch customer service!! I have ordered a few times from them. Each time I received my order exactly as I ordered it and always a little extra. Also Lloyd from their customer service dept. is always willing to help you. I’ve ordered a special order kit, and the customer service made doing that a breeze. I’ve also ordered acrylic templates and those always arrive in pristine condition. I highly recommend them if you want to try out a kit or want to try their templates.

Hello! This was my first experience with Babylon Leather and I can tell you that it was fantastic!

I was so happy with the amount of care Babylon took to ensure that everything you needed to make this bag was meticulously curated in a box and all you had to do was follow the tutorial to produce a beautiful product!!!

I bought a DIY kit for a friend and one for myself - I thought it would be a neat experience we could share and I wasn’t wrong!

The kits were excellent quality and loads of extra thread (no need to scrimp!), the instructions were clear and the end product fantastic.

The instructions were all via YouTube video which was very handy to watch and re-watch but personally I would like a set of text high level steps to accompany them (that’s a me thing though).

Will definitely make another style!

I saw this on TikTok and immediately thought it would be something I'd like. I was not wrong. I got the small Kelly style bag. While the directions weren't always clear, I managed to figure it out in the end. I just bought 2 more kits and I can't wait to get started. Just wish the shipping was quicker.

I received a DIY bag for christmas and I finished it in 5 days, it was easy to assemble, with great quality leather and tools supplied. I cannot wait to purchase my next kit!!
