I ordered a dainty gold necklace for my wife. The clasp broke after three days. Instead of simply replacing it immediately, I sent it back for repair along with the required photos and narrative and was told the repair would be 4 to 8 weeks. When I complained, they said it would be two weeks. I then gave the address that I wanted the item returned to me at and instead, they sent it to another address for me that they had on file! Now the $550 item is sitting someplace that I am not present at. What a pain! Terrible, terrible customer service.

Don't waste time and money with this company.

The quality of the product is as expected for the price. This is not expensive jewelry. But their return policy is not well stated--be aware there are no returns, only store credit or exchanges. This is not obvious in their return policy wording--a bit vague and easy to overlook unless you read it from that angle to begin with, so be aware.

What's hilarious is that customer service, while responsive enough, never tells you that you cannot get a refund. They give you a thousand different reasons or alternatives to solve your issue, but they never outright say, "no" you cannot get refunded. Such a waste of everyone's time.

My issue was that the gold color was not what I expected, so I wanted my money back. I had a previous purchase from them so I was a repeat customer! Who knows, maybe they changed their alloy formulation since the last time. Either way, I wasn't returning because I simply changed my mind.

To me, I would think any reputable company would want to make things right with a customer regardless of the reason. Lesson learned for me--I will not be ordering from them again.

I had a very positive experience with Babygold. I have purchased many pieces, but only once did I have to contact customer service. They promptly responded and worked out a sizing issue. Received my bracelet and I am very happy with it. All my purchases have been positive and the jewelry is beautiful. I have shopped many an online jeweler, and comparing Babygold to others I would say they have been excellent in comparison to many others. Babygold jewelry is trendy yet timeless, has a lifetime warranty and has beautiful pieces at many price points. These bad ratings don’t do it justice,

Order was received within the amount of time as listed on the website. Quality is good for the item. This is my second purchase from this company and I have been pleased both times. Thank you!

Bought for my wife a bunch of stuff. In the pics the two rings I bought they were bigger same with the necklace. They had no weight in the description but they looked like a fair size. Same with the earrings. The earrings are a nice size in the pics and in person once I receive all Items. The jewelry arrived at home both rings and the necklace looks like fishing string so tinny. For the money I paid very disappointing. I tried to rerun them and it says those items are not returnable even though on the website it says they are unless it’s something custom with name/initials which none apply to me. Very disappointing I am going to try to have my cc to dispute this scam.. don’t buy from them unless you want some super thin and cheap products. If they don’t have a weight and size don’t buy! I learned my lesson with this damn website!

Ordered two necklaces on 5/25. Fast forward to today, (two weeks of waiting), it has yet to be sent. Contacted them right away today to cancel because obviously who has time to wait for jewelry for more than 2 weeks? of course they said can't cancel. They need someone to pay for their junk products and support their shady business! This company is a sh*tty company. Stay clear!

Baby Gold sold me a bracelet that broke after 10 days old wear, and they won’t give me a refund. Terrible quality, scammy customer service.

Their website will say quick shipping but it already took almost 4 weeks and yet to received the item. Its like a scammer that will tell you that you cant cancel the order because its already been ordered but still need 3 weeks to finish the item which is purely non sense.

sent junk and said no refunds , only store credit . had to buy more of their garbage . total scam , avoid totally

I was very disappointed in the product quality and awful warranty process required to get my earrings fixed.

As a retailer primarily selling online, this company needs to significantly simplify returns and make the experience much better for the customer.

Due to sub-standard customer experience when trying to get assistance for a repair, I abandoned my request. I will not be continuing as a customer.

Would not recommend. The website is misleading and their lifetime guarantee is a bunch of BS. They make it nearly impossible to get something exchanged or fixed. A gold bangle bracelet was hollow - which the listing does not state - so it dented SUPER easily. Then they gave me SO MUCH grief for wanting to exchange for something else (within a month of having it). ALSO, I reviewed that bracelet which was negative - they NEVER posted the negative review. So dishonest and deceptive.

Baby gold advertised to buy by a certain date to get it by Mother’s Day. Item still has not shipped. I contacted them and they said that there was a delay and the item would only ship by May 10th …… but I would get the item in a Mother’s Day box. Did they contact me to tell me it would be late AND WOULDNOT ARRIVE BY MOTHERSDAY? NO! I HAD TO CONTACT THEM.
I have had numerous TERRIBLE experiences with this business and I was stupid enough to give them a second chance.

Don't let the 'family-run' marketing fool you. The Ashikians have built a business model around bait-and-switch shipping times and ignoring cancellation requests just to trap your cash.

I’ve seen this play out firsthand: they will ignore your cancellation, force a shipment, and then—even after you return the item—they will sit on your refund for over 10 days. It is incredibly sketchy for a 'luxury' brand to hold a customer's merchandise and their money at the same time. They are essentially using customer funds as an interest-free loan because they are clearly desperate for liquidity.

Beyond the ethics, the quality is bottom-tier. Their daintier pieces and stone-settings are amateur; it’s common for stones to arrive crooked or fall out because they prioritize high-volume turnover over actual bench work. They count on you getting tired of the fight so they can keep your money in their 'store credit' trap. Check the 160+ BBB complaints before you give them a dime.

I bought a zodiac coin necklace and it’s honestly so beautiful I’ve already got so many compliments.
The quality is really good, and I also got free shipping and great packaging, which was a nice bonus. Customer service answered all my questions too, which helped a lot because I was a bit unsure at first. Now I feel really confident about my choice. Overall, it was a great experience and I’ll definitely be buying from Baby Gold again!.

If I could give them a zero I would. My husband purchased a gold bracelet for Valentine’s. They even said it would be here for Valentine’s Day. It’s April 13, 2026 and we still haven’t received the bracelet we bought. We are finally going to cancel the order. Hope we get our money back. Do not buy anything from Baby Gold.

Bought a US$1K ring, thinking the design was fantastic. The adage "you pay for what you get" really stands here.

The ring has 5 rocks, 1 fell within 3 weeks of wearking. Then it took another 3 months to liaise with their customer service to have a replacement piece sent overseas (not in USA). Customer service would only reply once every two weeks, without SLA commitment to resolve issues in a timely matter.

Then when replacement stone finally did arrive, that also fell 2 weeks later, as prongs in the ring design are missing pieces of security that a local jeweller had to essentially cast the base ring away to rebuild another from scratch.

Oh and a third rock also fell, all within 6mo of purchase, and with daily wear.

Buyers beware

The merchant was very helpful and responsive at the beginning of the process, which I genuinely appreciated. However, once we encountered a shipping issue, the experience became increasingly frustrating. The situation appeared to be something that could have been easily resolved by updating the delivery address with the courier, yet I was told that was not an option.

Additionally, several follow-up emails I sent—both to ask questions and to provide updates—went unanswered, which contributed to unnecessary confusion and delays. Communication during this stage was noticeably lacking.

The merchant initially offered store credit if the item could not be delivered in time; however, the explanation regarding their refund policy, tied to fluctuating gold prices, was unclear and difficult to reconcile. This was particularly confusing given the assumption that recycled gold may be used, which would presumably help stabilize costs.

When the package was eventually returned to the merchant, it was not promptly re-shipped—what would have been the most efficient and customer-focused resolution.

I have since noticed that other customers have expressed similar concerns when complications arise, and based on my experience, I can understand why. While the initial service was positive, the handling of issues and overall communication left much to be desired.

At this point, I am still waiting for a final resolution, and the lack of timely follow-through continues to be disappointing. I am also still awaiting an update—ironically, the more I reach out, the more unresponsive the communication has become.

There was no apparent sense of urgency around my situation, despite the merchant being fully aware of the circumstances. At this point, I will not be ordering from them again. This is not about the product—customer service ultimately outweighs the product itself. If an issue arises, you can expect minimal support and poor communication. While responses are occasionally provided, they tend to be lackluster and not particularly helpful.

At one point, I called their phone number multiple times over the course of several hours with no answer. Rather than returning my calls, they defaulted to email responses instead of direct communication. Overall, the experience was deeply disappointing.
