Really easy and convenient

Great, delivery quick and easy to rent. Only reason for mark down is that the pram had a few broken parts on it, which is to be expected with rentals but made it a bit wonky for my baby to sleep in.

Excellent Rental Service for Baby Equipment

The service was well priced and the steps were simple to follow. Delivery was very smooth and the return process was smooth as well. Fast support from the team as well when I had questions. The items rented are in good shape and function as well.

Love It!

It has been great renting items through Baboodle and I would definitely rent more items in the future. The customer service is 10/10- thank you Baboodle Team. Any queries I had were responded to promptly. I have recommended Baboodle to several of my friends already.

Fantastic service

Fantastic service, really helpful and responsive online chat which made using Baboodle stress free!!
Thank you for all your help, we booked a Joolz AER composition to take on a holiday abroad for our 10 week ago son which save all the hassle of use our own larger travel system.

FANTASTIC!!

FANTASTIC!!!

Can’t recommend enough. It’s so easy and simple, I rented new products and they arrived really quickly with lots of communication and updates. Great value and great range of products too.

I have returned one item so far (as newborn grew out of it) the return was super easy and simple.

Their customer service is fantastic!! I had a few queries and one item was missing but they were super helpful and sent another immediately which arrived the following day. I am still using them and wouldn’t hesitate to use them again.

Baboodle are great!

Baboodle saved my sanity when I rented a breast pump for a couple of months. The pump was delivered very quickly and the return process was very simple and quick. I also found the customer service very efficient and kind. 100% would recommend.

Amazing service

Amazing service. Item arrived earlier , so had time to get used to the buggy before my trip. Was amazing at the airport and in Sweden. Will be using again !!

Thanks to Dan from Baboodle for helping us out so spontaneously with a stroller — our stay in London was absolutely wonderful! Everything went smoothly, relaxed, and completely stress-free. Dan was incredibly accommodating, and we’re so grateful for his generosity and kindness!

We had a bit of stress on our journey home, and he even arranged for our stroller to be picked up via Uber. We’ve never experienced such thoughtfulness before. A thousand thanks! 🙏✨

Joolz Aer

We rented the Joolz Aer for our holiday, the order and return process was smooth and simple, stroller arrived on time and was in good condition. Very reasonably priced, website had all the answers to questions I had without needing to reach out and speak to someone. Such a great idea, will certainly be renting again!

Bugaboo Butterfly short hire

We hired the Bugaboo Butterfly for a short trip. Item was excellent quality. Communication from Baboodle was really good. Delivery and uplift both really simple. A great model!

Great to hire for holidays

We hired a Yoyo stroller in the newborn configuration as well as a pram parasol for our recent holiday. The hiring process was really easy and the items came really quickly. The return process was also really simple too. Cost was even more affordable as we had a discount code from a friend who had referred us. Will definitely be using this company again!

I loved this idea - great concept!

I loved this idea! I already have a great pram but not light for travel! This is a great option and also space saving from having lots of baby stuff you don't use all the time! The concept is fab, the delivery and return was easy and smooth and the prices are really reasonable!

We rented 2 bugaboo butterfly's to take…

We rented 2 bugaboo butterfly's to take away on holiday with our twins.
The prams arrived earlier than I had booked which was great, they were in amazing condition as well.
super easy to rent and return. Saved us alot of money being able to rent 2 for £80 for 2 weeks!

Impeccable service!

I hired two Snoos for my twins and the customer service was impeccable. At first it looked like only one had been delivered and Baboodle immediately organised sending another, although happily the delivery was sorted out and it wasn't needed. While my twins still didn't sleep in the Snoos, I'd happily use Baboodle again and would definitely recommend them to anyone. It's wonderful to be able to make a sustainable choice in a world of baby products where there is so much waste!

I can’t recommend Baboodle enough

I can’t recommend Baboodle enough! As a new mum, I had no idea what to rent for my baby, and the team went above and beyond to guide me through every step. They patiently explained all my options, offered personalised advice, and helped me choose exactly what I needed. I was recommended by loads of mums who couldn’t sing the praises of the brand enough - I didn’t believe it until I experienced it myself.

Living in London, I know delivery issues are common - parcels get lost or stolen too often. But as soon as I experienced an issue, Baboodle solved it immediately, even at the detriment of their own costs, to ensure it arrived safely with me. I’ve honestly never experienced this level of care from a company before. The products arrived pristine and their service made me feel supported every step of the way. I’m so impressed. It’s clear they really care and operate with integrity. I’ll absolutely be using Baboodle again and would recommend them to every parent!

UPDATE: I’ve now how an email from Baboodle offering a 15% discount if I leave a review. If they’d offered that to me as compensation they would’ve had a happy customer who would’ve returned in the future to use them again, rather than someone who will actively warn other parents off them. It is all so shortsighted.

ORIGINAL REVIEW:
Baboodle’s customer service team and supply chain are utterly hopeless. Twice their courier lost my order. The first time Baboodle suggested I sort it out direct with the courier, because they were ‘at DPD’s mercy’!! If they can’t sort their own courier as a business account holder, what hope does their customer have??

Every time the response from customer services was whinging and trying to pass blame. Their supply chain is within their control and if it is substandard they should change it. They refer to their courier as ‘a third party’ as though it’s not the courier they’ve contracted with. The experience has been so unnecessarily stressful, time consuming and unprofessional.

After the second loss I asked for compensation. A customer shouldn’t have to do this, a company which has messed up should proactively offer something as a gesture, this is so basic. Baboodle said no, because ‘we’re out of pocket’ because their courier lost the item (!!). It was absolutely laughable that their own hopeless supply chain was used as justification for treating customers poorly (aside from the fact that Baboodle obviously will have insurance it will claim against, so won’t be out of pocket at all). All I was offered was for the item to be sent again, this time by taxi. It was ridiculous.

I’ve warned my mum friends away from Baboodle now and two mums said they’ve had the same experience.

Thanks for your feedback. This was an incredibly frustrating situation for everyone involved. Unfortunately, DPD appeared to have an issue with your address which led to two prams going missing in transit - something completely outside of our direct control. Both times we chased our DPD account manager, their business support and customer service teams to resolve it as quickly as possible. We also suggested you report it from your end, as in our experience a dual approach from both sender and receiver often speeds up resolution.

Despite all (and I really do mean all) our efforts to ensure none of our items ever go missing with DPD, we’re a small business and unfortunately don’t hold enough sway with them to have any real impact over their internal processes. I’m sure anyone who makes online purchases can appreciate that, as painful as it can be dealing with national couriers, online businesses simply cannot operate without them.

We use DPD because, despite being the more expensive option, they consistently deliver the lowest fail rate of any courier we’ve tested. For context, fewer than 3 in every 200 parcels we send encounter any delay or loss. When they do, we act quickly and at our own cost. In your case, we sent replacements and offered a third via taxi to get you your pram as soon as possible. I’m sorry you found this ridiculous. We really were trying to get you the pram as best we could, and I’m not sure what more we could have done here.

The standard insurance available through DPD only covers a small fraction of a pram’s value, leaving us over £800 short. We’ve explored higher levels of cover, but the cost would make rentals unviable for customers.

You requested a free rental as compensation. When we mess up we absolutely hold our hands up and offer compensation proactively and fairly, but while we completely understand your frustration here, because the loss wasn’t caused by Baboodle’s service or handling, we didn’t feel it would be fair or sustainable to offer that. Our focus was on getting your order to you quickly, which we continued to try to do, and keeping you informed throughout.

I’m very surprised to hear others have had the same experience. We’ve never had two consecutive losses to the same address before, and the vast majority of our customers appreciate that we go above and beyond to minimise the impact of rare courier issues.

We know how stressful these problems can be, and we’re continuously reviewing partners to make sure we’re offering the best possible experience.
