I have been looking for a website like this for months now. Most websites tend to overcharge me for the either their book pricing or the delivery charge. However, this website has the perfect combination of pricing. Not too expensive and not too cheap. Very fair pricing and delivery arrived on time as promised. I would personally recommend this to anyone who is looking to purchase books online.

They are full of .... I ordered 5 books they sent 3 and didn't refund. I hope people read this before they order so they know with what are dealing and not have expectations

Sadly I can’t give a full review as I didn’t receive the books, not axel books fault though, it was parcel farce who failed to deliver, however I can’t knock axel books for their customer service or speed of dealing with a refund, the only thing that would stop me buying from them again is the experience of parcel forces lack of delivery.

I feel it’s fair to update here. Axel books have gone above and beyond with their customer service. The books did eventually get delivered because parcel farce failed to stop the delivery. I was more than willing to return the books as it had been refunded but axel books told me to keep them. It was a large order as well of over £100 so didn’t expect that. So hand on heart I can’t recommend them enough and can’t fault them whatsoever, what a great company.

The selection exceeded my expectations, and the delivery was prompt. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and I can't wait to order from them again!

books haven't arrived.
I've tried contacting the company - no response so far.

I ordered a set of 5 books for my little boy's birthday. I got only 3 out of 5 saying that they were out of stock. Don't advertise what you don't have. I got an email saying that they don't have one of them and I will get a refund. Imagine my surprise when the parcel came and they were only 3. They ruined his birthday present I didn't get the refund. I wouldn't buy from them anymore. They are not to be trusted

I made an order of two sets of books. Paid extra for fast delivery (48hrs).
Chased 7 days later because I had not received anything. A response was provided explained that they were short of staff.
Received one set of books few days later.
I have never received the second set despite emailing few times to get an update, some explanations, a refund, and an apology for a Christmas present not fulfilled. Very disappointed.
