I never would usually leave a review on things but here I would. Had a great experience from day 1, all the way up until completion.
The communication is always almost instant, whether it is updating me on the process that is taking place or if it is answering my questions. Alongside this, I was a big fan of the portal in which the milestone progress also made this clear and easy to follow next and upcoming steps.
I would highly recommend their services as the speed of getting the job done and the professionalism has been spot on. I can't think of anything to fault on.
I wish my many thanks to Victoria and her team for the hard work throughout. It has been greatly appreciated in getting me my first home so thanks a lot!

Awful Customer Service
Would only recommend if you want to be made to feel stupid by questioning jargon you don’t understand. I booked a call surgery in to clarify insurances, to be told patronisingly “have you read it”?? - it later did in fact bite us back as we couldn’t pull out of the sale as the insurance didn’t cover it although why should I be surprised when they can’t be bothered to help. Constantly asked for clarity which I didn’t receive, when I pushed back on another matter as I still didn’t answer I was told it was explained and magically under that appears explanations? Spent one evening arguing with Victoria until 9pm, although when I chase over 2 days I’m told “sometimes you have to wait longer for a response” although I’ve never had to wait longer than a day. The nonsense automated emails cause utter confusion, we were told one thing and then would receive automated emails at 6pm saying another when there was no one to talk to and then when we did speak again we were made to feel stupid for questioning the contradiction. The full process was nothing short of exhausting with this company. They asked for my feedback which I gave and then followed up with a phone call on the 20th July, I wasn’t able to speak so asked if they could call me back on the 23rd July - you’ll be ever so surprised, they never called back.
They rinse you for money, don’t help at all, make you feel stupid, ask for feedback which they don’t like but it doesn’t matter because they’ve got the payment.

We can't go into the details of a transaction in a public forum, but I will comment on what I can. I have personally listened to the recording of the call you describe. Our team was courteous throughout, took the time to explain things, and directed you to the written information we had provided to assist you. The call ended when you disconnected it, and having listened to it in full, I could find nothing in how it was handled that would explain that.
I would also ask readers to note what this review itself describes. You never waited more than a day for a reply, which is well within the time we ask of our team. When you wanted to talk things through, a member of our team stayed on the phone with you until 9pm, 4 hours after her working day had ended, because she wanted to make sure your questions were answered. That is far beyond what any client should expect of their conveyancer. It reflects the commitment our team showed throughout your matter, and I'm sorry it didn't come across that way to you.
We do take all feedback seriously. You were sent our complaints procedure and invited to raise a formal complaint so that we could look into your concerns properly, but we did not receive one. That invitation remains open. If you would like us to look into any of this please send this to clientservices@avrillo.co.uk and we will review all feedback and comments in detail.

Overall, a successful outcome with some frustrations
We recently completed the sale of our property using AVRillo, and whilst the transaction did eventually complete successfully, the experience was somewhat mixed and the process took considerably longer than expected and required a significant amount of chasing on our part.
Throughout the process, I often felt that I was the person actively driving the transaction forward. Although there were some helpful team members, particularly Abigail Jupp, who was often responsive when contacted directly, I often felt that I was coordinating communication between the various parties and regularly chasing for updates.
A positive aspect is that you are able to setup call surgeries fairly promptly, and the team do answer questions directly and in a professional manner during those calls.
In summary, the legal work was completed successfully. Overall, a successful outcome, but I believe more proactive communication and case management would significantly improve the client experience.

I was dubious about an online conveyancer having not had a great experience in the past but AV Rillo has changed my mind. Our contact was great - super responsive and super helpful.
