This company is one large scam!

They rent out cars the size of a shoebox, demand extra fees and treat all clients like dirt.

STAY AWAY!

Beware of unexpected charges and an unresolved security deposit! Stay away from these criminals!
We booked and paid for our rental car online through DiscoverCars, including additional insurance. However, upon arrival at AUTOWILL Sarajevo Airport, we were asked to pay an additional €750 for ‘their insurance’. We were eventually offered a ‘deal’ to pay €450 in cash for insurance and cross-border travel, with the promise of a better vehicle. Concerned about losing the money we had already paid for a month long rental, we reluctantly agreed.
The most frustrating issue is our €350 security deposit, which was charged directly to our credit card and has still not been refunded after two months.
When we asked about the refund, we were told it could take 4–6 weeks. After that period passed, we were informed that the delay was likely caused by our bank blocking the refund ( such a nonsense!!) AUTOWILL Sarajevo Airport claims to have processed the refund, but the receipt they sent on WhatsApp as proof was just for the amount of 0.01 BAM.
These explanations have been extremely frustrating and have left us questioning the company's transparency and professionalism.
In total, we are out of pocket by €800, plus an additional €20 for a car wash, despite returning the vehicle in perfectly clean condition.
The staff's dismissive attitude and the way this situation has been handled have made an already disappointing experience even worse.
We cannot recommend AutoWill Sarajevo. Based on our experience, we strongly advise future customers to stay away from this company! They will rip you off! A dishonest and shady business that I would never recommend to anyone.
We hope the company will finally take responsibility, provide a clear explanation, and return our €350 deposit.

When we arrived to get our car, they checked someone else with a later scheduled time in ahead of us making us wait. When we received the car, it was not cleaned but soaking wet making it hard to see any scratches before hand. It's seemingly done that way on purpose so that when you take your videos and pictures of the car it is hard to tell if there is any damage. As soon as we pulled out of the lot we noticed that there was a horrible noise when using the brakes. When accelerating, the noise continued like the brake pads were sticking. The brake pads seemed to be deteriorated which was scary to drive on hills trusting the brakes. We then noticed the passenger window motor was out and would not roll up. When we returned the car, there was a small scratch on the front bumper that we had no clue about. It could easily be buffed out and touched up, but they charged us the maximum they could of 585 Euros with over 150 in fees. The pictures they showed us of the car before we picked up were not time stamped, and due to our personal videos of the car being soaking wet, the whole situation was very confusing and felt sketchy. Unfortunately we would recommend going with a more straight-forward, reputable company.

À notre arrivée, le loueur nous contacte directement par WhatsApp et vient rapidement nous chercher pour nous accompagner jusqu’à l’agence. Sur ce point, rien à redire : service rapide et efficace.

Le véhicule était récent et proposé à un prix compétitif. Il était globalement propre, même si un siège présentait une tache.

En revanche, grosse déception lors de la restitution ! Des frais de lavage de 20 € nous ont été facturés, que nous considérons comme abusifs. Le véhicule a été rendu dans un état tout à fait convenable et normal pour un véhicule de location.

Nous avons d’ailleurs pris des photos et vidéos du véhicule au moment de sa restitution, qui montrent clairement son état. Nous pouvons bien évidemment les fournir à l’appui de notre avis si nécessaire.

On nous indique que ces frais seraient prévus dans les conditions, mais nous estimons que leur application dans ce cas manque de transparence, d’autant plus que le véhicule n’était pas rendu dans un état nécessitant un nettoyage particulier.

Au final, notre avis reste donc très mitigé. C’est vraiment dommage, car l’expérience avait pourtant très bien commencé

Almost 3 months after the rental and I have still not received my €300 refundable deposit back from the rental. They've been sending WhatsApp messages saying that they are looking into it, sorry for the inconvenience and that they will get back as soon as possible. I've had contacted my credit card company to step in. Although I did receive the car, I think the payment side is a scam as they just pocket it as a way to ensure customers get their excess. To confirm, there was damage or anything to the car, they simply not paying my money and pretending there are banking issues for 3 whole months!!!!

A horrific rip off. I paid for out-of-hours pick up. Fair enough. But then the flight was 2h late, so I had to pay additional 100eur for being late. "Complain to Ryanair" was the insult following the injury. There wasn't much converstion at the pick up. It was at 3am. But when i returned the car, two days later, they told me I should have told them I'm crossing a border with it. Which costs 85eur. Since I didn't, I had to pay 600eur fine. "You should have read the T&C". And that's not all. There is a 20eur surchage if you don't return the car clean. Of course they are the only ones who decide if the car is clean enough or not.

Der Wagen von AutoWill in Albanien Tirana, war nicht Verkehrstüchtiug - Getriebeschaden. Nach mehrmaligen Hilferüf über die Notfallnummer keinerlei Aktivität von AutoWill das Problem zu lösen. Bei der Beanstandung an Aurumcars keinerlei Kulanz. Trotz meiner Beweise wurde ich der Falschaussage bezichtigt. Nie mehr AutoWill! Danke

Nous avons payé un accompte de 105 euros en avance en ligne, arrivant laba mme nous explique que ca ne change rien et que cette somme était juste pour nous « garantir » un véhicule à notre arrivée. De plus, elle ne nous dit pas qu’il faut laver l’exterieur de la voiture avant de la rendre et ce n’est pas ecrit dans le contrat que nous avons signé.Par flemme de débattre avec elle avec mon bebe de 6 mois en pleurs je decide de régler. Bref arnaqueur

Terrible experience – I would not use this company again.

I collected my rental car from Dubrovnik Airport at around 1:00 a.m. After a long journey, I was asked to sign a large amount of paperwork printed in very small text. Like many travellers arriving late at night, I was not in a position to read every detail carefully.

I was then charged several unexpected fees, including €50 for a late pickup and €50 for taking the car on the ferry. While these charges may have been included in the terms and conditions, they were not clearly highlighted during the booking or collection process.

On top of that, €20 was deducted from my security deposit because the car was considered not to have been returned clean. I had rinsed the car thoroughly with a hose the previous evening, and in my opinion it was returned in a reasonably clean condition.

Overall, I found the process lacking in transparency and left feeling that additional charges were applied wherever possible. Unfortunately, based on my experience, I would not use this company again or recommend it to others.

Location en lien avec le billet d'avion volotea. A ne surtout pas prendre...ce sont des escroc. A la prise du véhicule a Split en Croatie,ils insistent lourdement pour une assurance supplémentaire de 126 € pour diminuer la caution de 1300 à 200€. Au retour ils font très minutieusement le contrôle du véhicule, il nous facture 16€ de lavage. Et le comble, nous avons eu une contravention de 60€ le jour même réductible de moitié si payé dans les 3 jours. A notre grande stupéfaction nous avons dû payer le loueur 90€ pour cette infraction. Ils ont été très desagreables et nous ont fait attendre 1h30. Nous avons cédé car nous avions notre avion à prendre

Trotz der Tatsache, dass ich den Wagen ordnungsgemäß zurückgegeben habe, warte ich nun seit über 2 Monaten auf die Rückerstattung meiner Kaution. Ich werde damit abgewimmelt, dass die Işbank technische Probleme hätte und sie somit die Rückerstattungen nicht durchführen könne. Auch meine Beschwerde und Reklamation bei Check 24 blieb bis dato erfolglos. Ich werde wohl rechtliche Schritte einleiten müssen, um an mein Geld zu kommen. Eine Firma die sehr unseriös arbeitet und obendrein noch Menschen ihres Geldes berauben möchte. Bitte die Finger weglassen.

Je loue une voiture par le biais easyJet à cette agence. Je paye donc ma semaine de location.
Arrivée sur place, la personne devant moi met un temps fou, presque 2 h car là loueuse voulait leur faire payer une assurance et d'autres options. Bref!
Mon tour arrive. La loueuse idem, elle essaye de me vendre une assurance, je refuse lui disant que je ne souhaite pas payer de supplément.
Elle prend mon permis, ma carte identité. A priori c'est ok. Me demande 1300€ de caution, hors sur le contrat c'est noté 1000€. Je refuse. Finalement elle prend 1000€.
Puis me redemande mon permis. Et là, mon permis n'est plus valide. Effectivement c'est noté 2021. Pour moi un permis n'a pas de date de validité. Les nouveaux permis en format car de fidélité et ben il y en a une...
De ce fait, un ami qui était donc du voyage donne son permis qui lui est valide. Et là elle demande 180€ pour le changement de permis.
Je refuse et demande d'être remboursé. Elle me dit non, tanpis pour vous et essaye de me faire signer un document comme quoi je refuse de prendre la voiture et que je ne serais pas remboursé. Je n'ai jamais voulu signer. Elle ne voulait pas me rendre ma carte bleue. J'ai dû escalader dans son cabanon pour l'a récupéré.
Ensuite je pars chercher avec mes amis nos bagages qui étaient dans la voiture car j'avais la clé et là elle m'a bondi dessus quand j'étais dans la voiture, m'a arraché mon tee-shirt et a téléphoné à la police en hurlant comme si j'étais en train de l'agresser. Heureusement m'a fille a tout filmé.
La police est donc arrivée. C'était génial comme arrivée dans ce pays pour des vacances.
Elle a fait croire aux policiers que je l'avais agressé. Je leur ai montré la vidéo. Ils ont compris l'arnaque.
Elle a dis aux policiers qu'elle m'avait demandé 10€ supplémentaires. Alors je ne parle pas anglais mais j'avais bien compris la vraie somme demandée.
Résultats j'ai payé une location de voiture 133€ et une caution de 1000€ et je n'ai pas de voiture.

The branch is "just outside" the airport – where "just" means "pack a snack." You call, wait long enough to reconsider your life choices, and eventually someone shows up.
Then came the real entertainment:

€50 for permission to use a ferry. Not the ferry itself – just the permission. I now own a certificate I'm thinking of framing.
The car must be returned washed AND vacuumed. Otherwise €20 for washing and €40+ for vacuuming – which they kindly mention only at drop-off, i.e. exactly when you can do nothing about it.

In short: I rented a car and left as an unpaid cleaning contractor with a ferry license. If you love surprise fees, carrying cash, and moonlighting as a valet – Will is for you. Everyone else: read the fine print and bring a vacuum.

Ich habe über Autowill ein Fahrzeug für den Zeitraum vom 22.05. bis 26.05. gemietet, und die Erfahrung war von Anfang bis Ende eine absolute Enttäuschung.

Undurchsichtige Location & Abzocke beim Transfer: Der Abholort ist auf der Website extrem unübersichtlich dargestellt. Uns wurde ein Flughafentransfer für völlig überzogene 60 EUR angeboten. Zum Glück haben wir abgelehnt – ein reguläres Taxi hat uns die exakt gleiche Strecke für gerade einmal 30 EUR gefahren.

Kein Personal bei Rückgabe (Flug fast verpasst!): Der absolute Höhepunkt war jedoch die Fahrzeugrückgabe. Zum vereinbarten Zeitpunkt war einfach kein einziger Mitarbeiter anwesend. Wir haben sowohl versucht, die lokale Station als auch die Zentrale telefonisch zu erreichen – bei beiden Nummern ging niemand ran. Durch diese unfassbare Unzuverlässigkeit hätten wir beinahe unseren Flug verpasst!

Dreiste Zusatzkosten: Als wäre das nicht genug, wurden uns im Nachgang noch Reinigungskosten in Rechnung gestellt. Das ist eine absolute Frechheit, da wir das Auto vor der Rückgabe selbst gründlich gereinigt hatten.

Unfreundlicher Service: Das Personal, mit dem wir (wenn überhaupt) Kontakt hatten, war extrem unfreundlich und zeigte keinerlei Kundenorientierung.

Fazit:
Hier wird Kundenservice ganz klein geschrieben, dafür aber versucht, den Kunden das Geld aus der Tasche zu ziehen. 1 von 5 Sternen – nie wieder!

Took their car from 5thMay to 12thMay. It was the second time in the last 2 years. Everything was excellent -from pick up to drop off the car. Professional staff, friendly and easygoing, know the job. And this time was even better. Thanks!

Ich habe über Check24 ein Fahrzeug in Marokko - Casablanca über Autowill gebucht. Es war mit Abstand meine schlechteste Erfahrung. Ich rate allen diesen Anbieter zu vermeiden. Er lockt mit günstigen Preisen und versucht danach abzuzocken. Die Vertragsunterlagen sind auf Arabisch und Französisch, d.h. wenn man diese Sprachen nicht versteht unterschreibt man irgendwelche Vereinbarungen. Das Fahrzeug war komplett dreckig und bei der Abgabe hat man so getan, als ob man mir ein sauberes Fahrzeug gegeben hätte und man wollte von mir 50€ für die Reinigung während an der Tankstelle eine Reinigung 5€ kostet. Der Mitarbeiter bei der Übergabe ist absolut unprofessionell, er verweist nicht auf die Zusatzkosten die entstehen können, erst bei Abgabe um Geld abzuzocken. Zahlt lieber etwas mehr und reist unbekümmert, die Abzocker würde ich VERMEIDEN

Scammers!!! Charged me 50€ cleaningcost after returning the car!!! When we did the paperwork in the beginning of the rental, they charged me for 200€ when my rentalcost was just 72€. When returning the car they also tried to scam me with scratches at the car who didn't belong to me. Luckely I took pictures in the beginning so they couldn't scam me with that... Don't go with these people.
