I’m with everyone else. Recommended going to fibre to the home. Then had to purchase $400 new modem as recommended by them. Now getting worse internet connection than before! Absolute wrought. ombudsman here we come Do not go with Aussie broadband !
Refused to refund dodgy modem
Their service itself seems to be reasonable. But they sold us a dodgy modem. We kept loosing our internet and would be forced to call them. knocking us off line from anywhere between half an hour to half a day every few days. Every single time we requested a refund for their shit modem, they put it off, telling us to "try this" and "try that". Again and again. Until we hit a point where they said "Oooh, you've had the modem for more than 2 weeks" we can't offer a refund anymore.

While my general experience with Aussie Broadband was okay the last six years, I have cancelled my account today due to hearing accusations on the hold line that any objection to dealing with thick accents is 'racism'... what a crock!
Villifying customers who need to speak to someone who can speak clear, understandable english -- you've lost my business.
Terrible
Terrible! That’s the only work I can use, we went nearly a month with no internet and then had our compensation claim rejected. Nothing but issues from the day one. Never received our internet speeds that we paid a premium for, any complains made either received nothing but generic responses for completely ignored. Useless, don’t waste your money here.

Listen to me i have no issues with your internet but i do have issues with your pricing compared to your competitors and your lousy customer service. Hire more younger people instead of using old white gangster wannabe people on the phone with the thickest Aussie accent possible and then expect us customers to hear what they say clearly when they use Temu 5$ quality mics. I don't want to hear that old dusty 9-5 man yelling "look i am just asking simple questions" to my ears after i politely said sorry (to repeat) because i couldn't hear what he was saying using that cheap mic. It was so low on volume come on now, I had loud speaker on, full volume glued to my ears. I can assure you that i can speak better English as an Asian student here. Or was your guy just racist? Either way, completely ruined my day thanks.

Extremely friendly on the phone but it is never their problem. I can't get reliable Internet connection even to watch a movie on Netflix. Even Netflix tell me that I have 0 download speed and Aussie Broadband just deny it

I find the NBN SUB CONTRACTORS do not want to rectify issues on a broken line (it's to hard). AB complaints are nothing short of incompident. They are not transperant especialy with customer issues. Then faced with TIO, they fabricate harm to NBN sub contractors. Initialy
signed up for 100mbs and line at best 65mbs using 50+ yr old lines, but they give every excuse under the sun and threaten the customer, they give is nothing short of BullS!t
Can't contact anyone for support
I'm a small biz customer. Its support is really really bad. Sent an email to Support a week ago. There's no acknowledgement and no response at all. Tried calling the hotline and you're on the queue with 60-70 waiting in front of you. It's impossible to contact anyone for support. Tried clicking on Live Chat. It just doesn't work on neither the Web nor mobile phone versions.
**RESOLVED**** Disappointed with Service Transfer and Overcharging (Now refunded)
I’ve been genuinely pleased with this company in the past and have always praised their products and service. However, my recent experience with transferring a service has been a complete nightmare. To make matters worse, they’ve overcharged me and are refusing to issue a refund.
As a small business owner, trust is everything with my customers. While things sometimes go wrong, I always give my customers the benefit of the doubt to make it right. Unfortunately, this company has not extended the same courtesy.
****UPDATE**
We have resolved the issue and remained with Aussiebroadband.
Grateful for assistance
Recently I contacted Aussie to assist me with reconnecting my NBN.
I was very fortunate to speak with 'Jimmy' to help me.
As a senior with very little knowledge or experience in these matters, Jimmy made me feel so much better and that he would guide me during the process. We spoke for over 2 hours and at no stage did he show any signs of frustration, impatience in getting me up and running. Thank you Jimmy so much and Aussie are very lucky to have you on their 'team'. Just got off the phone to Daniel after i had some issues with the internet, what an awesome dude. Helped me with my internet and then we got chatting about computer setups and motorsport. Genuine friendly helpful guy, should be promoted!

Do Not trust these people with your bank details. They purposely failed to provide credit for prepayment of my account when I switched to another provider. They raised credit note but refused refund money.

Wondering why their prices are still sky high considering the NBN wholesale price has been falling, then seeing all the woke DEI on their website they're into no wonder,
cancelled yesterday after being with them for many years, going to another provider same speed, $30 cheaper for 6 months then $10 cheaper per month better peak time speeds,
I'd rather a company stay out of politics and concentrate their resources onto improving their network both in capacity and value for money, while their network speeds are good they're overpriced and obviously directing funds in other areas that have nothing to do with improving the value of my service..
Perfect customer experience
Just spoke to Ben and Staffan about lowering my costs as I’m going through a tough financial period. I didn’t want to leave AB because they have great internet and great service. These guys were so understanding, and helpful. They’ve changed my plan to help me out with additional discount for a period of time.
Couldn’t be happier with their customer service!!!

Had problems after NBN tech was here
Had problems after NBN tech was here, rang Aussie spoke to Peter the technician, was on phone for roughly 1 hour and it took this long for him to sort out my wifi problems on 2 tvs. He was extremely patient and knowledgeable and talked me thru several different areas…….thankyou Peter you tech guys at Aussie are magic!
Swapped to Aussie broadband node to…
Swapped to Aussie broadband node to house and the worst wifi connection , had to buy a new modem $340 , paid for an electrician to hardwire my work computer because it kept dropping out and sooooo slow this cost another $280 ( my husband ran the wire ) then I bought a 3 piece wifi mesh extender , still terrible , cannot watch tv on any of our units without it dropping out & spinning constantly , Vodaphone was faster and $30 a month cheaper , I live in Rye Victoria . The NBN connection is in my bloody front lawn along with the power pole and they ran the wire to downstairs , and it I just as bad as upstairs , ringing them is a waste of time they will not come and check it out
