We offer weekly art classes and workshops in a supportive, non-competitive environment, featuring projects in drawing, painting, 3D modelling, mixed media, papier mâché, and more. My son absolutely loves his weekly art class! It’s the highlight of his week. The teachers are all fantastic; so enthusiastic, kind and patient. They really and encourage his imagination and you can tell they all love their jobs. We couldn’t imagine our weeks without Art-K!

Absolutely Fabulous!
A wonderful calm and positive atmosphere - the time flies by and before you know it the theraputic session is over!
Louisa, Molly and team are delightful. Professional, encouraging and knowledgeable giving excellent tuition and instruction to achieve the outcome on the piece you're working on.
I thoroughly recommend the classes which I enjoy immensely.

With out a doubt 5 stars. From the warm welcome , staff remembering children’s names to the excellent teaching, I will be booking over Easter. My children 6 and 11 really enjoyed the session , asking to return. All children could take their creative art pieces away that day.
My children loved the experience and worth the money. Good location , lovely atmosphere and room. Thank you.

16 year old daughter came home crying.
My daughter aged 16 came for a trial as it was advertised 11-18 years including GCSE and A level. She came home inconsolable. She coloured in circles and then was given a picture of a tree to draw. She hoped to meet like minded people however she felt intimidated by the other younger people. I suggest lowering your age bracket or have appropriate age related tasks.

Thank you for your review. We're sorry to hear that your daughter came home upset because of not meeting students her age. Although our advertised age range shows 11 to 18 you are not alone in discovering the age isn't quite right on starting the trial. We are happy to disclose in advance of booking the ages to expect to avoid disappointment. This can also apply to holiday workshop enquiries etc. However, the shared passion for art means there is frequently a very wide age range in our classes.
Despite her disappointment, your daughter completed some lovely hatched sketching and tonal drawings and is clearly very talented. Your daughter seemed to enjoy sketching so although we offered to do some painting, we respected her requests and did a study on a tree- which was lovely! You may also like to know that we welcome older students taking GCSE or A Level bringing their sketchbook from school and use the art-K environment to progress this with a supportive teacher and all available art materials to hand.
We recognise that social opportunities for teenagers which are non competitive, safe and purposeful (like art-K) are very limited, and our classes for older children provide these scarce opportunities. We're sorry the age mix didn't work out this time but if/ when we do find a cohort of 16 year olds, we'll be sure to offer a re-trial on us.
My child went to Art-K for a half term…
My child went to Art-K for a half term camp. He had a fantastic time, painting and creating his own pottery fruit bowls. He enjoyed it so much he now wants to do the regular classes.

Fun Friendly Art Class
Quite expensive, but this is a lovely friendly class which my 2 daughters go to. It's a mixed age class but seems to work well as they each do their own independent art projects at their own pace.

Best birthday party
My daughter just had her 7th birthday party at Art-K, all her friends and herself had a great time and the art piece everyone made were amazing. Molly and Charlie were so friendly and helpful and so patient with all children. My daughter thinks this is her best birthday party ever! Thank you!!!

My daughter loves Art K.
Its increased her confidence and opened up a huge avenue in communicating and expeessing her feelings thoughts and experiences in a non directive way.
We relocated and even found and enrolled in Art K classes in our new community :)

My daughter attends art K at Horsforth she absolutely loves her class .Her teacher Molly is so welcoming and made her feel totally at ease ,she has learnt so many new skills already and really looks forward to each class .With a different exciting project each week she can’t wait to go and just focus on art .The art K space is such a lovely environment and the teacher is very organised and keeps us well informed about each class .I would definitely recommend art K .

Amazing teachers
Carver really enjoyed his full days at art K the teachers were fantastic with him and didn’t mind me messaging to see if he was ok either, the stuff he made we will keep forever and I’m so glad we booked him in. Thankyou!

Half Term Camp
My daughter attended a half day camp at Arr K and had a brilliant time . They could choose from a variety of activities. She chose to make a clay swan on a lily pad and was extremely pleased with the end result. Would definitely recommend

Kids absolutely loved their day at…
Kids absolutely loved their day at Art-K. They kept on showing their creations to anyone who came through our door. Fun day, kind and patient teacher. Kids keep on wanting to go back. Highly recommend it!
