Just purchased my second used bike from Luke at Loughborough. No nonsense approach, with a decent old schools bike shop set up. I will be back, and would totally recommend.

I’ve been taking my Yamaha Tracer to the Loughborough’s branch for a few years for services and MOT’s never had any issues.. Every staff member very friendly and professional.. Over the past two week I decided to trade in my Tracer for a BMW R1250 GS. After two test rides I decided on the best BMW for me. Ian was so customer focused and went beyond to ensure I had a great customer journey during this past week.. Picked up the BMW today and so far so great..!!

Don,t bother they say they phone you back but don,t.
They say a time but ignor it. Give useless excuses,
They just push there motorbike sales, no after sales help. Dont trust them.

Visited the Loughborough store today to get my Moto Guzzi problem diagnosed, originally bought from them. What a treat, great guy’s and great service, what a bike shop should be, thank you.

I brought a Yamaha Xmax 125 tech max brand new from Arnold's Burton on Trent, a few days riding the bike the front tyre started going down, so I took it back and they had a look at it and found a brush hair between the rim and the tyre , they sorted this out, but noticed they put the tyre on the wrong way, these are directional, and they told me it doesn't matter now days , so I left it , but spoke to other riders and they said it was rubbish they put arrows on for a reason. 16 months later my engine management light kept coming on so I took it back and they again looked at it they had it for a wk and when I picked it up they said it's sorted and should have no more worries, that was a lie 2 days later my bike wouldn't even start, so I contacted them again they arrange to pick it up, they looked at it and said that the crankshaft sensor was the cause as well as other engine problems, and it will be sorted out under warranty, to cut a long story short I did not pick the bike up again , they had it for 6wks and it was still not working. These people at Arnold's are not to be trusted, they are arrogant, condescending and they don't give a dam on who they upset. I got that fed up with them I sold it back to them and got myself a descent bike (HONDA). I will NOT set foot in that shop again and will NOT buy another Yamaha bike . I will not
recommend them to anyone in fact I would persuade them to shop else where. Absolute joke.

Absolutely brilliant company. I purchased a used bike from Arnold’s and a couple of issues needed fixing. The team were brilliant sorting out everything very quickly indeed. The communication was incredible they constantly kept me up to speed with the whole process. I cannot fault Arnold’s in any way and would definitely recommend them to anyone considering a used machine. Cannot be faulted.

I have been dealing a lot recently with Arnolds in Loughborough and have had no problems whatsoever so i am mystified (as a customer) with some of the negative comments which, i , personally have not experienced at all, i'm not saying at all that they did'nt happen i just sometimes wonder what people actually expect when dealing with business concerns. In the last three months i have purchased five different bikes from the Loughborough shop, i have chopped and changed my mind again and again and must be driving Ady, Luke, Gray, Pete and the rest of the crew mad but not once have they ever shown it, through the purchases of a Triumph street triple, a Yam XSR900, Moto Guzzi,V7 stone, Bmw F800 R and now a Bmw R 1250 RS they have all been polite, pleasant, helpful and funny and light hearted, any trade ins have been more than fair and in one case they insisted on giving me more than i actually asked for and would have been happy with!! (how many other dealers would do that?) admittedly servicing charges can be steep but thats the case for most dealers, if you think the price of oil and a filter cost is just a few quid if you do it yourself, fine, but if you dont want to dirty your own hands then you have to factor in the overheads that a dealership involves like wages, tax, vat, lighting, heating , council tax etc etc plus they have to make a profit on the task if they do it for you, it must be remembered that they are not a charity, they are a business with all that entails.
I can only recommend them from my own extensive dealings with them and i would'nt shop there if i thought i was being taken advantage of! after all there are plenty more dealers to choose from but i go there for a reason(s) good quality machines, excellent and friendly staff, good coffee, and always a good deal! five bikes and i have'nt been disappointed yet so will continue to shop at Arnolds in Loughborough. From my experiences i can only recommend them highly!

Ordered parts from this shop and the delivery time was not met. Ordered on a weekend and was told 3-5 working days. 5 days up and still no bits.

I arranged a test ride with the Company for a Yamaha I was interested in at Burton. Arnolds did not have a demonstrator of the model at Burton but were good enough to bring a second hand version from Loughborough to Burton so I could ride it. This was done quickly and effectively and the bike was presented is immaculate condition ready to ride when I attended. The welcome was friendly and attentive and I felt very comfortable about the whole experience. Andy was a star!

Truly awful customer service on an honest and truthful warranty claim. Shameful, after over 30 years of customer loyalty and the purchase of over half a dozen new machines from this dealer. The dealer started by saying that if any part is at fault he will pay for any damages but needs to understand why this occurred. Basically, the side stand bent and gave way and the bike toppled over. He agrees it should not have happened due to his weight tests, but it did. Then the arrogant dealer infers that myself and witnesses to the event are cheats and liars because he knows best. His hypothetical fiction as to an attempted theft or another vehicle collision is disproved by the honest reality of the pictures below and the people who witnessed the event. Also his preposterous claim that the defective stand is solid and fine beggars belief. I truly wonder what Yamaha would make of this dealer and his dishonourable ways. Anyone else had issues with this dealer? I think we need to know.

Started off so well reassured that if I brought a bike I would be looked after and not let down. Probably the best bike I've ever owned only let down by after sales service. Despite paying £600 in 7000 miles my bike as never been serviced to manufacturers spec. Valves never checked air filter not changed. On last service (£309.00 for a oil change) I'm told there may be a problem and they would require the bike for a few days. This would leave me without any transport and without a motorcycle for the first time in 40 year's .
Do you really take a bike for a test ride before you service it, my sat nav didn't show this.when people spend thousands of pounds with you is it reasonable to leave them without transport?
I take no pleasure in leaving a bad review maybe moto guzzi and Arnold's are not suitable for me.

Great experience through April and May with both the Burton on Trent and Leicester branch. I bought a Vespa Primavera 125 that was kindly and quickly transported from Leicester to Burton. Came to view and loved it. All the team were so helpful and friendly, which mattered with me being new to biking. Delivery to my home (Stoke) was also very reasonable. 5 stars!

Lovely sales staff, promised to fix all faults as they wanted the bike to be in top condition etc etc. This wasn't the case as there were a couple of issues that arose on the homeward journey which should have been sorted but hadn't been. They were simple enough to sort out so I did those myself, quite happily at the time as I needed the bike for work. However, a more serious issue (not safety related) was discovered so I took the bike back to be told the fix was too expensive, and the best they could do was either take it back or give me a partial refund.
Would never have left this review if it wasn't for the condescending and manipulative manner in which I was spoken to by the manager/owner/boss.
At the end of the day, this is a typical dealer and the only thing they truly care about is their bottom line.

Excellent service, truly excellent.
I bought my Vespas GTS300 from another dealer which was miles away from where I live and after 6 months, I had a problem with starting it. It was under warranty and Piaggio arranged recovery and took it to Arnolds. Arnolds contacted me and explained how they were going to sort the problem and they did so within the time frame promised. I collected the bike a few days later and I was pleasantly surprised with their showroom, parts, & accessories. If I’d have spent much longer in the shop, I’d have ended up buying another bike-so much selection. The staff were so friendly too, very polite and accommodating. Now I know this place exists, this will certainly be the only place I go to for my bike needs. Great job guys. Thank you.

Went in to the Loughborough branch to buy a Yamaha scooter on Saturday, Ady and the team were very helpful, knowledgable and friendly.
Highly recommended.

Asked if they could investigate a problem with my piaggio MP3 500 as they are a listed dealer. Delivered bike to them but three days later they refused to test ride it because of a minor fault with the steering???? Asked them to replace a snapped excelarator cable then so I could ride it home. 10 days later it was ready for collection...parts £40 labour ££500....Burton on trent branch. I'm still in shock...

Great people to work with, you can tell they enjoy what they do. Bought a bike off them and everything they said they would do, they did.

Dealt with the Leicester branch a little while ago and put a 250 deposit down on a new A2 Restrictable RS660, I had a change of plan and decided against getting it due to it not being long before I go from A2 to my A license. However I was told I WILL NOT be receiving my deposit back even though a bike had not been ordered in for me! They will not let me use the money with them in store or for servicing it can only go against a bike I purchase with themselves. Will not be recommending it to friends or family and certainly will not be dealing with them again. Be weary if you leave a Deposit!!!!

Purchased a BMW from the Loughborough showroom. I was nervous as i had only seen the bike on pictures and videos and I was travelling from Northern Ireland. My concerns were unnecessary because the bike was exactly as described.
The level of service was first class.
