Absolutely shocking purchased a van tool drawer safe from this company and from ordering to delivery I was not impressed.
On making the order I specifically asked to be contacted by the delivery guy an hour before it was to be delivered as this option was available and I was was working local so this was ideal for me as it comes on a pallet and it’s left by the kerb side on the road as they will not deliver it into the property.
Did they contact me nope so I had a right discussion on the phone about this with them at the time. I now had to rush from work to meet the delivery guy who wanted to leave my item on the road side and drive away jokers.

When it arrived and I unpackaged my item i was gobsmacked as to what I had received.
the finish on the facia of the drawer was very very poor there was grinder marks beneath the powder coating everywhere showing through how this passed quality control I will never know that’s if they even have such a thing. I was not happy after all these are not cheap to buy. I asked for a replacement that took weeks to arrive for some reason and exactly the same thing happened all over again with the one hour call slot before delivery absolutely gobsmacked I was so again I had to rush from work yet again.
The second drawer that was delivered was not much better from the first but an improvement.I was told these grinder marks are made when manufacturing the product and then powdered coating is applied over the finish metal. For me the finish beneath is not good they must think then the powder coating will hide all imperfections.
Along with the drawers they send you a set of 3 keys to lock and unlock the drawer all keys provided operate both deadlocks and one of them didn’t work luckily they send you 3 you can see it hasn’t been cut properly. I would not purchase from this company again absolutely shocking service. This review is true and accurate to my experience with dealing with this company and I think others have a right to know what service they are to be provided with from such a company.
Armorgard your finish on your products need to improve as it’s not a great finish on this product for what people are paying for.
and your delivery contract service you hold with the delivery company maybe communication needs improvement as it’s clear your not communicating with the delivery company as both drivers told me the 1 hour call slot is available but it was not on the delivery sheets for them to make this call beforehand so something is wrong somewhere.

Emailed today enquiring if Tuffbank tool safe was angle grinder resistant (simple question I thought). Was asked to provide more detail, which I did, was then asked for more detail ‘when why where who’. I consider this a stupid question to ask. Never experienced such obstructive customer service. Will buy altetnative.

* In response to the reply, how can a question be any simpler than, ‘is your Tuffbank tool safe resistant to angle grinder attack’?

I had not heard of this company, i initially ordered a similar product but from another manufacturer, but the company supplying failed to deliver. It was only then i decided to look for an alternative sliding secure draw, and it was only then i discovered armorgard.
The box is well made and seems very strong, the steel used is quite thick and the whole unit is well made. Its got two locks one either side of the door which is a good idea.
And unlike the other manufacturer these units are made in the uk. I bought my trekdror from a company called uktoolbox.com, who were very good and had the best price online.My advice is to ignore the brand that seems to be everywhere and give this company a go.
